The staff is very friendly and fun to talk to. I can stand at the desk and talk to them for awhile, and they don't make you feel like you are being pushed out the door. The Dr's, and Nurse Practitioners are pretty awesome too. There is one Dr I'm not too thrilled about, but I won't mention the name since I'm sure there are different opinions and some may love that Dr.. So, that's why the 4 stars instead of 5, because I didn't have a good experience with one of them. I LOVE everyone else in here. They understand me, they even relate with me. Dr. Tom reviewed his CT scan, treated him at the office and referred him to Pain Medicine. Dr. Tom and his office set up a meeting for Monroe with Pain Medicine for that day. Monroe and I drove to Tampa and were seen within minutes. The result, Monroe is scheduled for injections into 2 levels of his Lumbar spine which should help with this horrible pain he has been living with for so long. I have been a patient of Dr. Tom and can personally speak of his experience and bedside manner. Literally, I have walked into his office limping and crooked and walked out strong and straight....nope, not exaggerating. My recent experience with this Tendercare Pediatric office was an awful. When I decided to call their billing department for clarification, I was met with astonishingly rude and sarcastic behavior from the person on the other end of the line. Instead of addressing my concerns professionally, they condescendingly remarked that visiting the doctor's room doesn't grant me the right to know what I'm being charged for. This kind of attitude is not only unprofessional but also unacceptable when dealing with healthcare billing. It's a basic expectation for patients to have clarity about the costs associated with their medical visits. The dismissive and disrespectful tone from their billing representative was really disappointing and made me change my primary doctor for my two kids because it was not the first time I had to call for extra charge.
