DO NOT HIRE SPRING ELECTRIC & A/C. Do not be fooled by the nice website. This company is a one man operation. The "electrician's" name is Morris and you will want to hire him because he is such a nice guy, but DO NOT HIRE HIM TO DO ANYTHING. He is NOT A LICENSED ELECTRICIAN. I have since confirmed this with Texas department of licensing & regulation. We paid him over $2500 to install a 22kw generator & transfer switch. All of the wiring he did is poor quality & much of it is not to code. When a real certified electrician from generac came out to certify Morris' work, we were told it is dangerously substandard & said he would not allow us to get a service contract until a long list of items were fixed. Centerpoint will not certify his work either. When I showed morris the list of items he needed to repair, he came out once, fixed one thing & left. He texted me later to say that the generac electrician just wants to make money for unnecessary repairs. HOWEVER, I have shown Morris' work to numerous other electricians who weren't trying to solicit business. All of them said his work has so many issues that it's not even safe. One even apologized to me on behalf of all electricians. NOW, MORRIS REFUSES TO REFUND ANY PART OF MY MONEY AND WILL NOT RESPOND TO TEXTS OR CALLS. I now have to pay a real electrician $1600 to correct his work. However, I am reporting him to TDLR & sharing my experience anywhere online where he can be reviewed. read more

Morris is a good man and electrician. He is honest and tries his best. For me I asked him to install the fan in a 18' tall ceiling. He gave me the best quote for the job. This is clearly a big job as the fan itself is pretty big too (100" fanimation); and worst case scenario it's height made it very difficult to install. Morris went to rent a 14' ladder but that didn't help either; so he went back and rented 16' ladder and installed the fan. It took him more than 4 hours but in the end he got the job done for half of what others were asking to do. read more

Morris is such a good guy and work hard. He visited our house in Friday and gave us quote the same day.next day I texted him to install our chandelier lights , fans, and recessed lights he went and did the job on Saturday met our request and never once complained he started at 1pm and finished at 9pm with all the works we wanted done. Me and my husband are so happy that we decided to hire him again to do all of our lighting. This guy is honest and do a quality job he wouldn't over price you. I used Morris 2x previously and didn't have any issues. Job #3 was a disaster. Part of the job was to diagnose intermittent electrical problems and he did that by swapping out a main breaker. But the other part of the job was to figure out why stove and microwave weren't working. Morris claimed the GAS stove and microwave were tripping each other, that I needed to separate them to dedicated lines because they could no coexist. This is a GAS stove that uses very little power for the igniter, clock, and light (if on). When I brought this to Morris' attention, he could not admit he made a mistake and kept demanding payment instead. I didn't have any problems with paying if he would just admit he did wrong here, but he couldn't get himself to do that. I won't be calling Morris anymore for any jobs. You don't even need to be an electrician to know a gas stove doesn't draw much current. read more

This is essentially a one man outfit. The address on Google is just an apartment.Morriss took my check and ran straight to the ATM to deposit it because he knew the work he had done was not up to code. Oh, he also asked me to write the check out to him directly, not to the business name which I would not do. Sure enough, when Centerpoint came an hour later to switch over the power they told us they could not because he had not buried the pipe deep enough. I got Morris to come back out the next day. He blames the poor work on a helper but Morris signed off on the work and took my money. Anyhow, he dug the trench a little deeper and called centerpoint back out to switch over. Again they said the work was not up to code and they would not switch us over. Now Morris will not answer phone calls or texts. We're stuck with a an open ditch in our yard and a temporary power hook up. We're out over $2300. We have to take him to court now. LOOK ELSEWHERE!!!!! read more
