I recently had a root canal done at another office who referred me to Dr. Park for follow up and I'm so grateful that they did. Aside from the root canal follow up, I knew I had two teeth in the back that I was convinced would need to be extracted because they had such large, deep cavities. Dr Park not only prevented them from being extracted, but was able to fill them in office and save them entirely. He is so kind and gentile, walks me through everything he's doing, and answers the firehose of questions I throw his way effortlessly. His reception staff are also outstanding and have been able to get me in for follow up appointments quickly. While I don't think I'll ever "enjoy" going to the dentist, I couldn't ask for a better experience than with Dr. Park. Can't recommend him enough!

Dr. Park was honest when I came in for a second opinion and assured me that that number of fillings was not necessary and only filled the cavities that needed them. Additionally, Dr. Park has excellent bedside manner and is very gentle when doing dental work. I was very comfortable during the fillings I did have done (didn't even feel it--and i've had many painful dental experiences as a kid) and he makes sure to keep you in the loop during the process so you're not taken by surprise by anything (during regular cleanings too). He is very transparent about things that you may need to keep a close eye on and provides helpful suggestions for what you can do to prevent issues from getting further. Overall, if you're looking for a dentist to go to in the DMV area I definitely recommend the Parks!

The office is outdated, not very clean, and staffed by only one dentist and one receptionist--which was concerning from the start. After a short wait for paperwork, Dr. Taylor came to my section, gave a quick hello, and immediately began working. He rushed through the cleaning, missed several spots, and just poked around without thoroughness. I've been seeing dentists for over 30 years, and I can confidently say he is the worst I've ever encountered. He spent less than 10 minutes on my cleaning--completely inadequate, especially since I hadn't had a cleaning in over 7-8 months. Then he moved on to my husband and spent about 20 minutes with him. In total, he spent only 30 minutes on both of us. That's simply not enough time to provide proper dental care. I do not recommend this office or Dr. Taylor under any circumstances.

I've had ongoing billing issues with this office that I still haven't been able to fully resolve. I…read morewas charged in full for dental work on March 30, 2026, including $700 pre-paid via my FSA card -- before any services were rendered. My FSA administrator later flagged this as a violation of IRS regulations, since FSA cards cannot be used to pre-pay for services not yet performed, and required the office to refund the amount. On top of that, when I received my receipt, from first appointment it listed work done on four teeth that was never actually performed. Because work was actually done on two and in different side that was listed on the receipt. I reached to request a corrected invoice, which am yet to receive four months later. The office has acknowledged the errors and said they're working with my FSA/HSA to return the funds, and were waiting for my insurance to pay them for worked done. Insurance has done that I saw again they charge my insurance for fourth teeth, I followed up again to remind them that was incorrect and request my refund they still says they working on it. At this point this is clear that this is not an error or just incompetence, rather it is a deliberate attempt charge for services not rendered and false work done. I will be reaching out to my insurance and also file a claim with the county. I'd recommend other patients carefully review their invoices and avoid pre-paying for services. And advise them to look for another honest dental practice.

I had previously received a consultation from another provider suggesting a lot of extensive work, but after Dr. Dufera thoroughly examined me and reviewed my X-rays, he recommended a much more conservative and less invasive approach to address my pain. I felt incredibly lucky to find a dentist who truly advocates for his patients and prioritizes their best interest rather than pushing unnecessary procedures. I remember when me and my wife were early in our relationship and she went after not going to a dentist for nearly two years. We made an appointment for her to see Dr. Dufera and he noticed a broken tooth. He soon put in a temporary and then permanent crown and has filled many cavities and done 2-3 cleanings a year for both of us. The only downside but I can't fault them is he and probably his other doctor book up several months in advance, so you may have to go elsewhere if you need to miss a cleaning but luckily this has not happened to us yet.
