I used to train here before I moved out of town. They are amazing. I would suggest this barn over any other!

It's still a great ride on these Magestic animals, couldn't be too disappointed because I truly wanted to jus ride. It's been so long, since I was a teen since I've been on a horse and my heart needed this. I've always wanted a stable full of horses, hey, a girl can dream. I'm so mad bc I cannot remember our trail guide but she has been working there only for eight months as of 4/18/26. She was the best and easy to talk too. We loved all the horses! I got to ride Ranger and he was so hungry during our trail ride. Had me thinking, do thy feed them lol but I just let him do his thing and she did as well. We all just let the horses eat and chill too while taking the trail ride. We wanted them to enjoy themselves too! My man rode Mega and he's huge! Also, he's their youngest horse and I cannot remember the name of the other horse but I did ask their ages. Many horses live around forty years and Mega was seven, Ranger was 15 and the horse guiding us was 20. It was such a nice day to ride. Don't come here having to use the bathroom lol. My one complaint about the trail is their lack of cleaning it! There was a toilet that has been there on the trail a while, I'm not sure if someone dumped some fish eggs on the trail, there was a little patch that they need to clean asap! They're probably just use to it and might not notice but there and lots of flies over it and I'm not sure why someone wouldn't want to take pride in the trail. I'm hoping this review will help them get there. There are so many things to make this experience even more beautiful and memorable. Thanks for the ride!

I have known the owner, Tanya, for a number of years now. I first met her back in 2006. I was a…read morefreshman in high school and I have always loved horses, and I finally talked my mom into looking into getting one. I found her facility online and my mom and I set up a time to come see the place. After looking into the costs of food, board, and other expenses, my mom came to the conclusion that she simply couldn't afford it. When Tanya heard this, she offered to let me come by to help groom and exercise some of her horses. In exchange for helping with their care, I also got to ride in the arena with her trainer. Sometimes I would ride along in the "Gator" that she uses to get across her property quickly, and sometimes helped with little things, like cleaning and filling water buckets or helping to feed. I am honestly thankful for these opportunity to learn what it's really like to own and care for a horse. Tanya provides a unique opportunity to any child that would like to learn about horses. I am now out of high school and just moved back after doing a couple of years of college in Colorado, and I am back working with Tanya and her herd again. I've only been back about a month, but I can personally say that all of her animals still look great. In addition to the horses, she also has Emus, Alpacas, monkeys, wallabies, peacocks, and more. I have never seen her skip a feeding, and she pays me well to do all of the cleaning. Her animals mean a great deal to her, and I have even seen her fire employees for mistreating her animals. Aside from all the animals, she also has some great amenities, such as a covered arena, a barn, 2 tack rooms, jumps of all different heights, barrels, wash areas, stalls with runs, pastures, and more. Tanya has a great facility, whether you're looking to board, or just wanting to see some unusual animals, you won't be disappointed! :)

Do not purchase a special offer for this company. www.ridethevines.com…read more I purchased a $99 -- Wine Country Horseback Ride w/Tastings, Reg. $240 via TravelZoo and called Ride the Vines to make a reservation. This is yet another situation where the company sells vouchers to a discount site and then won't honor the offer until their off season. This company is unable to book us on a tour on a Saturday until October or a Sunday in August. It sounded like total BS to me so I flat out asked if I had purchased the tour for full price if they would be able to get us in sooner and the company said yes, they would. This is not the right way to do business. If you are trying to stir up business by making a discount offer, don't rip off the purchasers by not honoring your offer. I advised the company that a lot of companies get bitten by making these offers and then not honoring them until a point far out in the future and she said she was aware of that. These are the terms and conditions, which the company is not honoring: Terms and Conditions Vouchers can be redeemed starting Friday, April 26, through June 30, 2013. Rides run Wednesday-Sunday. Valid for morning rides only. Not valid on major holidays. Reservations are required; subject to availability and weather conditions. Voucher is subject to forfeiture if you cancel or reschedule your reservation with less than 48 hours' notice. Maximum weight limit is 240 pounds per rider. Must sign waiver. Must be used in 1 visit. Tax and gratuity are not included. This deal cannot be combined with any other offer. Must be of legal drinking age to consume alcohol. Overall, my experience was A-OK! What I loved: - Scenic ride through vineyard, fruit trees - My horse was tame, didn't buck me off! - Excellent weather - Small group - Nice guides - Package included tastings at 4 wineries - Helmets available if you need one What I thought could be better: - More details: In my creative mind, I thought the horse ride was through the 4 different wineries (Perhaps that's literally impossible, but I am the type of person who thinks anything is possible) - More conversation during horse ride. One guide was pretty good about giving tips, letting riders know what was around them, making small talk. Other guide didn't talk that much. - Include some instructions on simple horse "commands" or FAQ about riding a horse

This is our experience with Fire Dance Farm. When we told the owner that we would be picking up the horse, we were given a specific time to pick up our horse (one when none of her clients would be there). When we arrived at the scheduled time, we found the gate to the facility closed, our gate code disabled, and the owner and her husband standing at the end of the long driveway by the barn. They then had one of their ranch hands walk our three-year-old filly down the long driveway to their front gate. This young horse was clearly upset having never been anywhere but her stall or the arena. The ranch hand opened the gate and brought our three-year-old filly out onto the street where he handed us the horse. We asked if the owner expected us to load her on the street and he said "yes". Meanwhile, the owner and her husband stood hand-in-hand watching from the barn. It is incomprehensible that a horse facility would act in this manner. This young horse had only trailered once before. This facility put our young horse in danger by bringing her out onto the street to load where she easily could have spooked and run onto a busy road and been injured or worse. There is no justification why a client should not be allowed to safely pick up their horse from within the gates of Fire Dance Farm but the owner and her husband clearly did not care about the safety of our horse and rather stood by watching from a distance. Fortunately, our young horse loaded easily and without incident but other horses might not be so lucky.  Be warned...all is good until you decide to leave.
