Walked in and was surprised it wasn't really busy as it was lunchtime. First impression wasn't warm or welcoming, but I've been in and out of the area for over a year now and figured it was time to try it out. Ordered a cappuccino, the Goat, and one each of their gluten free bagels (plain and everything) for my gf compatriot to try later. The Goat is goat cheese, honey, and Granny Smith apple. When asked which bagel I wanted to go with it I went with the salted egg bagel as that looked tasty. The food was out quickly. The cappuccino tastes a little burnt but that could be the oat milk. The Goat on the salted egg bagel is delicious. Like Delicious! I wanted to eat all of it but wasn't that hungry so made myself stop to save it for later. I'm going to have to drop in again when I'm in the area and try their other offerings. If they're even half as good as the Goat, they'll be winners.

Love the staff! I haven't been in a while and the manager/supervisor Justine and Tony were so helpful explaining the menu changes. The bagels were delicious and it was so much to watch the bagels be made.

    Hair in egg.

Food and service are good but out of the 2 bagels I ordered today both had hair in them. None of the employees had hairnets on which is likely the cause. Such a shame because the food is good.

Everything bagel with veggie cream cheese

The staff was smart and friendly - indoor and outdoor seating - the wood oven bagel have a nice taste- $7 with 20% tip - the place is clean and I would go back just for experience the staff experience

Egg bagel with egg and cheese. Simple but absolutely delicious.

This place has been in the area for a while and I've heard nothing but good things so I stumbled on in today. Fox 29 news was there with a huge group of kids which I was not expecting as I rolled out of bed so it was a little chaotic inside, but the staff scooped me right up and waved me over to the counter. They had plenty of people working and it seemed to operated like a well oiled machine with how busy it was! The gentleman who took my order was very friendly and my order did not take long at all. I was so excited to try this place that I called my sister and asked if she wanted to try anything. Of course she said yes because she too of course, has only heard wonderful things. In the midst of this, Fox started filming right in front of the area you order. Uh oh. Cue the social anxiety. Do I finally make my TV debut? In sweats? No way. There was a woman Tara who handed me my order and I asked if I could place another order with her at the pick up area and she said of course. She asked what I wanted and didn't rush me at all. She went to place the order and it was ready within like five minutes. So fast! When I went to hand her my card she said it was on her. I was stunned honestly. She told me how much they're expanding which is so exciting because this place is just so wonderful. Thank you Tara for ending what has been a horrid week for me in the sweetest way. Seriously made my whole day. The bagels were so delicious, not overly dense, not overly crispy. Nice and fluffy with a perfect chew and the eggs were cooked perfect. This will be a go to spot for sure!

    Everything not toasted duh!

I just had everything bagel with plain cream cheese. Not toasted as that would be for rookies. Solid bagel. Pastrami sandwich was soooo good.

    Delicious bagels!

I am so excited to have a bagel shop near where I live! I spent some time living in NY and NJ which have some excellent bagel shops and you were never far from a strip mall with a bagel shop. Here in Delco, there's Dunkin and maybe a Manhattan Bagel. First thing, this is a Montreal style bagel which is baked in a wood oven vs the NY style. This is important because if you are expecting a NY style, that's not what you are getting. Second thing, I think it's a little pricey but....everything I have had is really good. I have had an egg bagel with cream cheese, an onion bagel with whitefish salad (you get sooo much whitefish!) and an onion bagel standard sandwich. My favorite is the standard (egg, cheese and your choice of sausage, bacon and turkey bacon.) I'm that weirdo that is #teamturkeybacon so I always appreciate when it's an option on the menu. To get it on bagel with egg and cheese is chef's kiss.

    Nova Classic Sandwich

This was my first time trying Spread and I will definitely be back! I ordered the nova classic sandwich with capers on an everything bagel. I ordered online and it was ready 5 minutes early. When I walked in I was immediately asked if I needed anything and they got me my food. Wow, so yummy! As someone who is a huge bagel sandwich lover, having tried many a sandwich in many a city, I was impressed. The bagel I got had a good texture. They LOADED it with lox and cream cheese. The only thing I would change is I love salt on my everything bagels, but the flavor was great. I can't wait to try some of their other sandwiches.

These bagels don't taste good. They taste like flour. They're really tough. The hype is not there. Too pricy.

Best bagel place for miles. I'm a New Yorker, so it takes a lot for a bagel to impress me. Always fresh, flavorful and delicious!

Originally the search was for a place that we had assumed was in…read moreNewtown Square, but was actually in Newtown; much too far to go to for an impromptu breakfast unless we were prepared for a small trip. However, this is the circumstances that led me to Rolling Stars. Not knowing what to expect whatsoever, except that I read that they served bagels, I was blown away by the offerings and the quality of everything they have, and will definitely be coming back to try some other menu items in the near future! Not only do they make almost everything from scratch, homemade here, with the bagels obviously being their signature item, everything is fresh, bold and wonderful. They even have a daily soup that is prepared by hand, that is available all day long, even for breakfast. If you've read any of my other reviews, you know that this is a game changer for me. Their coffee drinks are very good, and while not the best I have had, they are fun, tasty and they will make special additions simply if you've ask. In my case I ordered a simple cappuccino but they added little heart sprinkles for Valentine's Day since it is upcoming, even though the drink doesn't have them. The biggest problem I had was trying to decide what to actually choose from the menu because I was faced with way too many options that I wanted. I ultimately went with "the Bella", a portobello sandwich, which comes on your choice of bread, or any of their bagels, of which I chose the egg everything. Within a few bites I knew that this was easily within the top three bagel sandwiches I had ever had, and I am very critical of bagels and have had a TON of bagels and bagel sandwiches, coming from a kosher deli family. I also had the soup of the day which was a brilliant chicken noodle with awesome large macaroni elbows that just totally kicked it up. In our entire visit we only encountered one thing that was bothersome and it wasn't with my food but with our table's, and this was likely due to expectations. The jalapeño cheddar bagel is simply a plain bagel with a slice of cheddar and diced jalapeños on top. Now it was still outstandingly delicious, but I feel like we were under the impression it would be cooked into the dough and the entirety of the bagel. This wasn't the case and I can't knock them for it because it was still fantastic; aesthetics be damned! You should definitely visit here if you have not been here yet, and I can guarantee you will be coming back again and again. I cannot wait to go back, and I didn't even touch on the crazy awesome bagel chips that come with nearly everything!

I got an everything bagel with cream cheese, a loaf of sourdough, and an iced matcha. The bagel was fantastic and loaded with cream cheese! I'm definitely going back just for another bagel. The sourdough is pretty good too but not as outstanding as the bagel. The workers were all very nice and helpful even with the amount of customers, but it seemed a little unorganized and chaotic behind the counter at times.
