Absolute worst service ever not a smile on any of the 5 girls working so strange any request retuned a blank stare. When we have them a tip hoping it would help them not be so annoyed. Not a thank you absolutely no response so strange. I asked if it is a franchise or small business one girl said small business. I did mention it would be nice if they smiled again met with blank stares so strange I only gave 3 stars because the ice cream was good. I left Southern California after 40 + years (yes - took the $$$$ and RAN back home to MI.) The "king of the soft serve cone" out there is a chain of shops called Foster's Freeze. Dating back to 1946, the chain is smaller than it used to be, but it is still very popular. And now fast forward to MI. The soft serve here is "close." A bit creamier, but very worthy! HOWEVER, the hand-dipped ice cream at the Spotted Cow is terrific!! And the Butter PEcan is my personal "go-to." But many other options abound. Perhaps I will get around to trying them someday!! :o) 2 locations now (the store in Tecumseh, MI closed) on US 223 (here) and on North Main - they are really a family-oriented place with a (mainly) friendly and well-trained teenage staff. Spotted Cow is a local favorite for ice cream treats. The three locations (two Adrian spots and one Tecumseh shop) are pretty consistent with the quality of their offerings. They have so many choices that it is hard to choose how you want your ice cream. I think you could go there every day for months and get something a little different. This location is relatively new and represents a move from their former Winter St. facility. It's on US223, which is definitely more trafficked, but it's tucked back amidst the somewhat chaotic hodgepodge of retail and food service facilities anchored by Walmart. It's hard to see from the highway, but the locals certainly know it's there. On our last visit, COVID was keeping the dine-in option off limits, so drive-through was all that was available. I'm interested to see what the interior looks like as this seems to be a smaller facility compared to where they were. But maybe that's by design. Whatever the case, their ice cream still lives up to the lofty expectations they've established. I appreciate their NSA offerings and my wife really liked their hot fudge sundae creation that she got on our last stop there. We'll certainly continue to patronize this terrific local establishment at this new locale. read more

I went to spotted cow an they took so long cause they missed counted my money I gave them a 20 an they gave me 1$ for two thing this took so long to resolve that my ice cream melted they didn't even give it to me until they were done an it was already melting. read more

Loved the prompt and courteous service! You also can't beat the prices on their slushies during this heatwave. But beware, the large slushie cup was so big it couldn't fit in my cupholder! Might need a passenger to help you hold on to those drinks! I'll be back and I'll be ready to try the other slushie flavors and I'll be sure to sample some ice cream along the way. read more
