I have never heard of Koala Berry Frozen Yogurt until, yesterday. I might be bias in my opinion but, they have THE BEST sorbet in Sylvania. This frozen yogurt and ice cream shop is self-serving. Ice cream was amazing. My 4yr old granddaughter enjoyed her mixture. The toppings she created didn't look as though it matched but once I taste it it came together so great. It's pricey so don't think you get a $5 cone, no her cup came to $9 and I didn't fill it to the rim. Service was amazing ambiance was great. I believe there should be some kind of protocol in place for individuals to not have to use the same utensils right behind others. Plastic gloves should be worn for the ice cream dispenser and the topping station. People can cross contaminate germs and we don't want no problems. Overall great place and concept. read more

I have been going to this yogurt restaurant for as long as it has been open. Whoever managed it or owned it open till today ran a great restaurant. This was the healthiest place to get frozen yogurt. What happened? They even now have ice cream what you can get anywhere. Their toppings are not as safe as they were during Covid or prior. Their choice of nonfat or sugar free yogurt has diminished greatly. The girls that work there are wonderful. The point system is gone. If it's under new management good luck because you'll never see me there again or any of my family or friends. I think from now on I will eat Halo from the grocery store. For starters, my friends and I go here once or twice a week. It has flavors like Coldstone, but everything is self serve. There isn't much seating, especially inside. The workers are okay. They remind you to use sanitizer when coming in and can be seen restocking the inventory. They serve fro yo and I recently had their sherbet. Kids would probably like this area, because it is interactive. Pricing depends on how many oz your fro yo weighs. I usually end up $4-7. Also, the music is oddly great! read more

Was new to town and some family members decided to bring me here! After having a hefty dinner, I was craving something sweet. Koala Berry definitely hit the spot! I had the peanut butter swirl mix and it literally tasted like a reeses cup! The girls at the front have to give you the tasting cups, which I think made me the limit the amount of options I tried. I also had the pumpkin spice mix and that was a close second to the one I got! Of course, being a froyo place, I loaded myself up with toppings! There were a lot of liquidy swirls you could put on top, which I appreciated since I haven't see so many options before. Overall, I enjoyed this froyo place and I would def come back! read more

This is the newest froyo place in Toledo. It's a self-serve, pay by the ounce place located next to Tiger Bakery on Central. It's 45 cents per ounce- which seems about average for most self-serve places that I've gone to. The place is pretty small and simple. They offer 18 different flavors ranging from Vanilla Ice Cream to Espresso, etc. If you're looking for an Original Tart flavor, try the Malibu tart. It seemed to be the closest to a froyo original tart. I didn't try most of the other flavors so I can't say how they tasted. But if you ask, you can get little cups to try the flavors before you buy one. They had an array of different toppings- fruit and also dry toppings. They did NOT offer mochi when I went in. It looked like they also had take-home containers. As for taste, I only got a small amount. The fruit seemed fresh and the froyo was a little creamy. My wife and two grandchildren, ages 10 and 6, visited Koala Berry last night. COVID regulations being eased in the state of Ohio, we visited this place for the purpose of dining in and letting the kids have their frozen yogurt and more. We arrive about 5:45pm, and went in to see barely any tables in the area, and there were no chairs. They were open for business, but when I asked if we could sit down somewhere, the person(s) attending the location there said, "We can serve you, but you can eat outside (there was a small patio). Problem was, it was only fifty degrees out there with wind and it was still winter. When I asked if we could eat inside, she said "Yes, but you'll have to stand up." Angry about this, I refused to buy there and left the store with our grandkids. As long as this kind of service is it at this location, we will not do service there. read more

Truly a hidden gem! I usually go and get the same things every time but sometimes i'll add a new topping or something fun to spice it up. The toppings are delicious and always fresh and the frozen yogurt would be great on own. my favorite toppings would have to be the amazing fresh pineapple or the sugar cone crunches. they close at 10 so i am able to come in after i work unlike other places around here so that's nice too. The froyo is fine but nothing to write home about. I've been here a couple of times, looks a little dimmed from the outside. Then the inside is quiet and a-ok. If you're unable to visit Pinkberry in Detroit then Koala Berry will do for now. read more

Love this place! This was the first time having frozen yogurt, and was not disappointed. Ordered the strawberry+strawberry shortcake flavors, both times I have been here and loved it both times. Toppings are always fresh as well, fresh strawberries, kiwis, blueberries, and much more. Came here for the first time on my last trip to Toledo. I actually went two nights in a row. First time I had the mango sorbet which was awesome! The second visit I did a mixture of flavors that were all very good. I definitely love the concept of this place as it mimics a place I frequent in Atlanta. The space is small and with kids running around it can become difficult to get your yogurt and toppings. My first visit their were very few kids and the parents were making sure they didn't get in the way. My second visit had kids running around and forcing their way in line to get toppings with parents not paying attention. I will go back and continue to give koala berry my business as I think it's a great concept! read more

I've been there twice and had positive experiences! They have a great variety of flavors and toppings, but I'd love for them to get Red Velvet. I had Peanut Butter Cup ice cream, which was rich and creamy. I've also had an Oreo ice cream and it was great as well. The ice cream is good and the store was very clean.
