Tried this place for the first time today and it was great! So many variations to choose from, non dairy options as well. They even have novelty popsicles like ninja turtles or sonic. Service is fast and very friendly too! Definitely coming back.

By far the best soft serve around with the most flavors. Delicious sundaes and some are crazy HUGE. Friendly fast service although lines are long they push them through. I get the baby size, it's also HUGE

Love the nostalgia!!!! Cash only and vanilla soft serve with toppings. Use the picnic tables behind by the playground and plenty of trash cans. Very attentive & helpful staff!!! You can customize any of their offerings!!!

I've hard various people rave about Mr. Freeze being the best around when it comes to soft serve ice cream. We happened to be in Perrysburg and making our way through town, we turned around to check out a garage sale. When turning out of the parking lot to make our way back to the garage sale, Mr. Freeze was right across the street. Needless to say, after the garage sale, we just had to stop at Mr. Freeze for a taste test. I ordered the same thing at Mr. Freeze as I do at our go-to ice cream spot located on McCord & Hill Ave. Definitely a creamy type of ice cream, but in my opinion, paled in comparison to our fave, Mr.G's Barn. Sorry, just my opinion.

I drove out of my way 20 min to go to Mr Freeze. Their ice cream and service is the best. I always get a sundae w peanut butter and hot fudge. Their pb sauce is not overly sweet w a tiny bit of saltiness and lots of peanut taste. It's so good. And the servers have always been super nice and outgoing. There's seating out back at picnic tables or plenty of grassy space. Expect a line in summer evenings but it's worth it.

Just a sliver of the sundae selection, a mere hint.

Here's my stupid complaint - the small sundae is too. frickin'. large. Thursday, 7 pmish, Ladyfriend and I stop by this Perrysburg, Ohio, roadside ice cream joint. Small line but it moves fast. People behind the counter are quick and good natured. A billion sundaes to choose from - it was a little overwhelming, the selection. And we spent total of around $10, including tip, for these 16. oz cups overflowing with soft serve ice cream and toppings. And those were the smalls. I fear the larges.

Front of the line after 30minutes.

Oh My Goodness! I'm an out of town visitor, but I'm contemplating going for a nice 1 hour drive for some ice cream. The size of these Sundaes are huge! Its hard to order I'd you've never been here. There are signs posted all over the front glass, and Lines extend out the building. So, you gotta look around lol. Jump in line tho, this is a happening spot. We were excited to pull up, find a lucky parking spot, and realize this is one of town gems! Little league uniforms, moms and kidsz, dates, everyone was here. I got the BuckEye Sundae, vanilla ice cream with peanut butter sauce on top, in between, and with buckeye candies on top. Hubby got the white chocolate something. We got large, paid 9 dollars. (I'm use to paying cold stone prices, around $14). We were excited for the price, and excited it lasted me all through our night walk. Dare I say, too much PB, and I'm a PB addict. Go, Go, Go.

There were a handful of options to go with, but out of the three I tasted: apple, orange, and vanilla, they all had a grainy texture to it. Now usually, Gelato is not as creamy as ice cream, and it is served at a higher temperature than its cousin, in order to maintain that famous elasticity. But this Gelato was a bit flaky/grainy. I imagine it had to do with the tub maybe having melted with the constant opening and closing of the glass, or maybe or it was turned to fast, but it had a sort of ice crystal flake taste/texture to it. The slow-churning technique that makes the majority of difference from Gelato to ice cream just maybe didn't reach the level I was used to (granted I had lived a year in Italy). But unfortunately, the Gelato felt more like ice cream, while the rich flavoring and vibrant coloration was lacking. This is my first time there, and perhaps I just happened to turn up on a slow or bad day. Now, I did not have a chance to get any of the chocolates, but from their looks, I could see myself picking a few up. The gentleman who served us was extremely kind and helpful, and I did feel welcomed. But this review should be acknowledged purely as a reflection on my opinion of the Gelato. It was not horrible, but it left much to be desired. That said, I would not be opposed to swinging by another time I feel the sweet escape. I'll probably venture into the key lime truffle.

Why, just a glance over to the side, and I can glimpse the NES she bought me back when I was in grade school, oh, so many years ago. But, having the world's best mom comes with a tradeoff or two. Of note, how do you best show your appreciation on her birthday? Especially when you have only TWO HOURS to get something. Well, I've thrown the dice and bought her a cake. The idea to go out and buy one pre-made at Cold Stone Creamery came in a sudden flash. But it was a good one. I'll admit the pricetag for the cake was a bit more than I was expecting, but I'm already convinced it's worth it. The cake we bought was called 'the midnight delight'. It was the chocolate lover's ultimate cake. Chocolate frosting. Chocolate ice cream. Chocolate candy shells. And of course... chocolate cake filling. When I saw it for sale in Cold Stone Creamery's fridge, it took me all of 10 seconds to decide that this was the one. Better still? The staffers at Cold Stone tonight were AWESOME. The cake selection was actually guided by Zoe, while Lily took care of the cash register. Then, under the guidance of the manager, Brenda, the three of them set out to add that extra je ne sais quoi to make the cake absolutely fabulous. They used a very charming variant of pink for the, 'Happy Birthday Mom!!' lettering, lightly accented the cake with pink sparkles, and rounded it off with strategically placed pink candles encircling the cake's perimeter. Me and the family are planning on unveiling mom's cake and presents in two hours around midnight, but I'm very confident it's going to go well. And a large thanks goes out to Brenda, Lily, and Zoe and Cold Stone Creamery for helping us along the way!
