Spoto was such a delicious find! Located in the Murray Hill area, this late night pizza spot offers some great slices; they also have salads and gelato. We had the 2 cheese slices, and each were warmed up perfectly; it came out piping hot and was cheesy and delicious! The crust was thin with a perfect crisp, and the sauce had a nice tang to it. I'd be curious to try their other varieties, such as the Spinach, Ricotta, Mozzarella & Garlic, the Buffalo Chicken, or the Vodka! The staff are super friendly and welcoming, and the space is bright and clean. There's limited counter seating, but most patrons seem to take their orders to-go. +tasty slices! +friendly staff & service! +limited seating

After a visit to the dentist in the area I needed a bite and walking by I found Spoto Pizza. Had a good sized slice, thin with a nice crust, and a tasty mix of sauce and cheese. A slice is about $4 but worth it. A variety of pizzas available in a clean shop, cold drinks, and gelato too. Pizza deal of two cheese slices with a can of soda for $8.95.

Is there any pizza place in NY that will disappoint you. Found this place off yelp and definitely another good spot! We wanted a late night snack before heading back to hotel. Pizza was delicious and it hit the spot. Service was good and quick. Typical pizza spot with limited to no seating. If you're in the area, check them out!

Ok, what a find! I am in NYC multiple times a year shuttling teens around the city to experience the touristy side of things. We'd just made our way out of Grand Central and realized just how hungry we were after a long day of walking Central Park (I SAW KEVIN BACON THERE), The Met, and 5th Avenue.... we were famished and it seemed like no better time for some NYC style pizza. I did a quick google maps search for highly rated pizza places and Spoto was open, and within a 10 minute walk from where we were. This seemed like a good option. And when we arrived I knew I'd made the right choice. I went with two slices: Mushroom, and Spinach/Ricotta/Garlic and both were exceptional. The flavors, the ratios, the thin crust! Perfect really. My teen went for a Margherita and a Vodka slice - which she was REALLY happy with. We stopped in around 6pm on a Sunday and it wasn't busy, but it definitely picked up after we'd sat at the window counter and ate our dinner. It's small and seating is limited - so this might be a better take out option for those living in the general area, getting out of work or staying in the general vicinity. The staff were friendly and answered too many questions from my teen, which I really did appreciate. Really great service. Outstanding pie! I'll be back!

Best pizza in midtown. Not cheap slices but worth every penny. Thin, crispy, with some chew to it. Great dough, quality ingredients. They take pride in what they do.

One of my new favorite pizza spots that opened up recently! The crust is crispy and thin and the ingredients are better than most. Even the condiments on the table look better than your usual NYC pizza slice shop in nicer containers. I went twice in two days last weekend. For two slices - a vodka and margherita- it was $9.80. I will definitely be coming back here!

The story of their dough - making process. This is what sold me a slice.

Popped in to check it out, close to dinner figured I'd try it in the future, grabbed a menu. I'm sitting in the car, reading about their 5-day dough proofing process and immediately walked back in to get a slice. Asked the counter guy "What's your favorite?" He got me to try I guess, Vodka sauce & pepperoni. Does a good slice have the ability to change your mood? Absolutely! Spoto Pizza put a big smile on my face! Excellent pizza, chewy, crusty, top-notch toppings, guys behind the counter, great! Can't wait to try some of their other combos. I'm experiencing pizza intoxication! Eat at Spoto, smile more. LOL

A new neighborhood pizza store - most of the pizzas look to be thin sliced. The toppings are actually quite delicious and you can easily finish a pie between two people. Everyone is super kind there. What's cool is that they have a gelato stand inside as well! Will definitely have to try it next time.

When I saw this pizza joint open in my neighborhood at first I shrugged - there's 4 others nearby that are good but not really memorable. But I was wrong to assume it is "just another pizza joint". Spoto is ELITE. It goes head to head with the very best in the city. It's a place that I selfishly don't want there to be a line out the door - but they deserve it and rivals famous "must travel to" joints in nyc. Dough, crust, char, minimal to no flop all on point. Sauce is phenomenal. You can tell they worked hard to make the very best pizza recipe they possibly could. Run don't walk to Spoto.

Do they have a website and a phone number?

they had their grand opening a week ago so I doubt there is a phone number. They are on 3rd ave between 38th and 39th st. I checked Grubhub and they aren't on there yet.

Here's the rundown: - naan: recommend this, though maybe overhyped myself based on previous reviews. The yogurt sauce was delish, but the bread itself was very good but not mind blowing. - BLT salad: dark horse fav! Tons of flavor and I kept going back for more. Recommend as an app - Union Square bento: honestly, wish this came in a real bento box. Seems like a miss, but I suppose separate plates give you more volume. Good to add as a side to whatever else you get. Cabbage was the best of the trio. - rice bowl: squash and rice were solid, but the shrimp was the standout here! Very flavorful shrimp. Not sure how they packed so much flavor into the little bites of them - fried chicken thighs: I mean, yes. They're juicy. They're fried excellently. The side sauces are creative and great for vinegar-lovers like me I also got the carrot cocktail which was ultra smooth and had the right amount of dill flavor. We got two cookies to go which were divine. I'd get them to stay to try it with the oolong milk next time, but we had to run. The service was friendly, courteous. Ambiance was trendy but not uptight. Would recommend for a nicer night out

The concept is similar to Chipotle, where you build your own meal by choosing a protein, grain, sauce, and toppings. I created a bowl with white rice, caramelized steak, broccoli, and pesto, and paired it with a strawberry mint lemonade. The portion size was enormous--I easily could have stretched it into three meals. Even better, the food tasted just as good as it looked. The pesto added a ton of flavor, and while I usually pair pesto with chicken, it worked surprisingly well with the caramelized steak. The strawberry mint lemonade was also refreshing and complemented the meal perfectly. My only criticism is the lack of seating. There are only a handful of stools and one small table, and every seat was occupied when we visited, so we had to take our food elsewhere to eat. If they had a bit more seating, the experience would have been even better. Overall, this was a delicious, healthy meal with generous portions, and I'd gladly stop by again the next time I'm in the area.

And it doesn't have that dead space on the 2nd floor where though there may have been a place for you to sit, didn't mean that you'd necessarily enjoyed yourself there: Chances were that'd you'd have to hear someone's conversation in person or on the phone, as if you were on the subway. None of that here now with 4, albeit generous, seats facing the window: The expectation now is that during the lunch rush, you're going straight back to your desk or, if it's nice outside, sit outside (so a great use of the car-free section of Broadway). I had the Hot Chicken Plate: It was the special for folks with the SG app so I thought, why not. I picked double quinoa, blackened chicken, sweet potato and everything else you can see in my photo. The warm quinoa and the chicken were fantastic: You know SG is making a play for Chipotle's customers by offering what's basically a rice base with a chicken and salad topping. I was not a fan of the spicy broccoli which I found too salty. If you overload your plate with toppings it will easily go over the Chipotle price point: You'll know what's happening now that you have to enter it all in yourself on one of 3 tablets at the counter that divides the public from the kitchen. Can't wait to see the lunch crowd at the new spot!
