Each visit things were overlooked. For example, window sills not wiped out, beds made up lumpy, tops of the fridge and bookshelves ignored, toilet tanks not wiped down etc. While the owner is very nice, I believe he tries to fit too many houses into one day. My visit today lasted one hour and 10 minutes for a three bedroom two bath house. You can imagine in that amount of time what was overlooked. I had multiple conversations with Terry and made every effort to ensure there was zero confusion about the scope of my project or the price. I met with Terry twice at my home to go over the entire job. He knew exactly what I expected. He even came to my home the morning the job was supposed to begin to finalize the paint colors. We also spoke several times by phone the night before to finalize the contract. The written estimate was very clear. It listed the work to be completed and showed a $1,458 subtotal, a $291.60 military discount, and a final price of $1,166.40. The estimate specifically included the deck, wood rails, stairs, shutters, garage doors, front door, and preparation work. Then the crew arrived. That's when everything changed. The employees apparently had been given a different understanding of the job than what Terry and I had discussed. Instead of Terry taking responsibility for the communication problem, I witnessed an attempt to low-ball his own employees on the amount they were expected to be paid while simultaneously trying to increase the price of my job. That is completely unacceptable. You cannot meet with a customer multiple times, personally inspect the property, finalize the colors, discuss the project repeatedly by phone, provide a written scope and price, and then change the deal when your crew shows up because you failed to properly communicate the job to your own employees. If Terry underbid the job or failed to communicate the scope to his crew, that is a problem between the owner and his employees--not something that should suddenly become the customer's financial responsibility. What makes this even more frustrating is that I did everything I could to avoid exactly this situation. I communicated directly with the owner, met with him twice, spoke with him multiple times by phone, and had him at my home that morning to finalize the colors. I even accepted the contract. The issue wasn't a lack of communication from me. The issue was the owner's failure to properly manage his own business and communicate the agreed-upon scope to his employees. I have no problem paying a fair price for quality work. What I have a problem with is agreeing on a price and scope, only to have the terms challenged when the crew arrives. Terry (Owner) had already personally inspected the property, discussed the complete scope with me on multiple occasions, and came back to finalize the colors. This wasn't a situation where he was seeing the property for the first time. My advice to anyone considering 3Kings: BE CAREFUL. Make sure you have everything in writing, make sure the owner and crew have the exact same understanding of the scope, and do not assume that the price you agree upon with the owner will necessarily be the price they try to charge you when the crew arrives. This wasn't just a disagreement over a few dollars. It was a serious issue of professionalism, communication, and trust. Unfortunately, after my experience with Terry and 3Kings Cleaning, I would not trust them with my home or recommend them to other homeowners.

When I contacted the service (via text as I always have) I was told to call before 5pm. My response was that I would not be able to call before 5. I let Lisa know I couldn't. She said I would need to contact her by phone before 5 during the week. This isn't possible with my work schedule. My schedule is the whole reason I use a service. Since this wasn't resolved and since I was charged for a service I didn't receive I cancelled my services. Lisa's response was sarcastic and unprofessional.
