Southern Coffee House had an extensive coffee menu, a drive through, and enchanting inside and outside seating. It is hard to believe that this itty-bitty place is in the middle of a small town and not one of the bigger Texas cities. I ordered one of their deliciously flavored coffees from the drive-through, but I had to stop and check out the place. I was completely won over. I have to say that in addition to the excellent coffee and amazing décor, it had the most charming and likeable employees. These two young ladies went out of their way to give us more information about Southern Coffee and a tour of place. They were so sweet, friendly, and helpful, I would go again based on service alone. I really think that this is an ideal stop and will make it a point to visit again whenever I'm in the area.

I am a coffee purist and will order plain coffee, especially the first time. So I asked if they had drip coffee which the server looked at me confused and said yes after a few seconds. So I told her I would like two larges and she told me $6 and to pull around the building. It took a little while before the coffees came out and when I went to take my first drink I was expecting a little tinge from being hot but boy was I wrong- there wasn't even a little steam coming from the cups and could have been served as iced coffee and no one would know the difference. I also didn't get a receipt, and after contacting the company in two different avenues I got one for $6.50 I gave the company time to contact me back and try to rectify my poor experience but never did they reply.
