Joe has no problem dealing with special needs nor does he charge extra :) One (100#) has severe arthritis and the other two (80# 7yo, 130# 1yo Dane puppy) try to kill each other (alpha female) and must be handled separately. We received daily updates (text & video) on how they were which was excellent, for the most part. Joe swiftly and effectively dealt with many issues as the days went by. He got to know each dog and their needs quickly and we will definitely take them back without hesitation!

Dogs unconditionally give us their all, even when we don't treat them as they deserve. We could learn a lot from them. They deserve to be treated like the family they are to us. At Punky's Canine Club (PCC), dogs can be on vacation while you're away. We allow dogs to be dogs, to roam freely, socialize and play under supervised conditions. At PCC, dogs are only crated by necessity. That does mean guests have to meet some simple requirements (listed on our website) so all can be safe and happy. PCC is also our home, so dogs are almost never left alone. If they must be due to necessity or emergency, they are crated and monitored by CCTV. This is a family business. We love and care for every dog in our care as if it were our own. We have leather furniture and large screen TV for the couch potatoes and plenty of toys and space for all. Come pay us a visit, meet Punky, our Border Collie/Lab mix and namesake of our business, Apollo, our happy-go-lucky English Labrador Retriever and Tucker, our friendly & rambunctious Pit mix and our newest and youngest PCCambassador-in-training and see if this is the right place for your furry family member. We're certain you'll find that PCC is what you've been looking for.

Every single time I tried to schedule a groom or boarding, there were issues. What should have been a simple process turned into a drawn-out, frustrating experience with poor communication and no clear answers. To make things worse, after multiple attempts to get something scheduled, they claimed they "didn't like my tone" and refused to allow me to make a reservation at all. I've never experienced anything like that. Instead of trying to resolve the situation or help a customer, they chose to shut the door completely. Customer service is where they completely fall apart. Responses are slow, often rude or dismissive, and there's zero sense of urgency or accountability. It genuinely feels like they don't value their customers. At this point, it's hard to tell if they even care about having customers at all, let alone new ones. Do yourself a favor and avoid 2nd Family Dog at all costs. There are plenty of other businesses out there that will treat you with respect and actually make the process easy.
