During teh Covid years, this was one of the few groomers who were operating and had appointments. And I like that the groomer Miranda has been there for years and is familiar with our baby. HOWEVER, after I picked up my dog from her last boarding stay from 12/27/2021-12/31/2021, she came back with bruising to her neck and a large hematoma (as diagnosed by her veterinarian). When I called the business to let them know, the owner offered a refund, which I did not take because I wanted to know exactly what happened rather than him giving me a refund and sweeping it under the rug. He said he would review the video footage of the 4 days she was there and get back to me...he called back within a few hours to let me know the footage didn't show anything....which lets me know he didn't actually review it, because how does one watch 4 days of video that quickly? I called again and again, and none of the staff have said they saw anything happen or know anything about an incident (either from another staff member or dog). Either my dog was injured by a staff member themselves or by another dog during the daycare playtime and a staff member didn't see it OR didn't report it, all of which are unacceptable. The owner did not seem to care about the well being of my dog which was a slap in the face as a loyal customer. We will not be using their services again, and I would encourage others not to use them either as the quality of their care has gone downhill.

The staff have always been caring for my dogs and they have a webcam that you can access from your phone so I could watch my dogs the whole time they were there!! Tio always does such an amazing job on my dogs! I rescued a stray that was left at 7/11 a few months ago and Tio did an amazing job of caring for his badly irritated skin by bathing him in oatmeal and aloe. The owner is super sweet and always pays extra attention to the care of the dogs and the needs of the customers and you can tell that they really love working with animals. I will only be taking my pets here. They have private suites available too for your pets if you want them separate from the other dogs.

They refresh water, check robot feeders, feed a can of wet food each visit and it doesn't stop there. They also pet and check on the welfare of the cats plus pick up mail or packages for us.. We get texted a picture of each cat or several and a written update on how the visit went. We have never had 1 issue with anything missing or even a picture frame moved out of place. My husband is a worrier about our lovely cat family and it puts his mind at ease using this service and how well cared for our cats are. We have a shy kitty that will hide from time to time, but YHPC sitters eventually will win her over and coax her out to feed and get petted.
