You can't take a picture of yourself in the dress? Really? What are they afraid of if they give such great service and have such reasonable prices. I went to 3 places today. The other places encouraged taking pictures. If you have what is right for the bride, you won't fear a picture. If you just want to extract money you allow as little decision aid as possible. read more

I can only give 5-stars based on the customer service. I did not purchase my dress here, but if I did not find another place I would have been just as happy buying from here. The selection here is MASSIVE. I have gone to five wedding dress shops in total, and this place takes the cake on variety, selection, amount, and store size. I think this place might actually be larger than some David's Bridal stores. They mainly arrange the dresses by style (I prefer by brand but that is only because I knew which brands I was interested in). Most brides know more of the style they are interested vs. brand so I understand why the store was arranged this way. The staff here was very pleasant both in the store and on the phone. They were even very patient with my while I waited for my family to show up to help me dress shop (of course I was on time!!). Anyway, my consultant was extremely helpful in picking out dresses that were both my preferred style and price. I suck at finding dresses on the rack so good thing she knew what she was doing. My budget was around $1200 and I found plenty of dresses to try on below that budget (before PA tax). Would highly recommend this place to other brides. read more

My son is getting married in June so I made an appointment to look at dresses. As stated in other reviews, the person at the front desk could use a lesson in customer service, however, I was greeted by my consultant Deborah with warmth and kindness. She was very easy to relate to and had some good suggestions. I did have a dress in mind and when I put it on, I knew it was the one. She gave me great feedback and we were both happy with my choice. I had a good experience and can't wait to wear my beautiful dress. read more

The Salon, while clean, is disorganized. It is hard to look through the racks because they are filled with dresses. While the stylist was helpful, the Salon owner was overbearing and pushy. The prices at the salon are great, but you have to really know what you want to find something here. read more

Everything was horrible. I am a young bride and felt like I was not welcome. They rushed me and had me wait. I felt uncomfortable and couldn't wait to leave. read more

My experience recently with Sposabella was amazing. Ali worked with me, my mom & sister for hours trying on every dress I thought I might like. She knew the product in & out, was very thorough with her explanation of the dresses & the layout of the store, & had nothing but patience for me when I tried on the same dress about 7 times. She even stayed with me to help with the decision AFTER her time was up with me! I never felt overwhelmed, she made trying on dresses not only comfortable, but a fun experience I will never forget. Sposabella was the first & last stop for buying my wedding dress - it's absolutely stunning, unique & was affordable too! Thank you! read more

Brides BEWARE!!!!! This is the most unprofessional place. We ordered bridesmaids dresses here and they came in way too big for some girls and way too small for the rest of us. It cost each of us a small fortune to get them to fit us for the wedding. The bride has called 5 times and they are rude and said they would have manager/owner call her back, well no call or even an email back!!!!! I am getting married and I will be staying as far as I can from this store!!!! I am sure now that I am in the looking process there are more reputable places in the area to go to. read more

Great bridal salon! Was able to go through the racks and pick out the dresses to try on as opposed to solely letting the consultant pick. Kim, who was my consultant gave great feedback and was super friendly and helpful! I didn't decide on a dress (too many choices to choose from!) but it was a great experience. read more

My fiance, mom, and I had a terrible experience at Sposa Bella! First, they lured me there under false pretenses. When I first called them, the male owner told me they carried many dresses in the style that I was interested in. I drove all the way there to discover that they didn't have any dresses at all in that style. The male owner is extremely rude! He told my fiance that he was forbidden to remain in the back of the store looking at the dresses with us. Another couple came in the store, and he asked the woman, "Can you get rid of him?" Most of the dresses they showed us were ugly and cheaply manufactured. The salespeople were not knowledgeable about the designers, lines, styles, or prices. They also told me it would take 6 to 9 months to get a dress in after ordering it, which I felt was a pressure tactic. Other places have told me it only takes 4 to 6 months. I also learned that they close for the entire month of December. Overall, I would NOT recommend this store to anyone! read more

Sposabella is definitely a nice looking store, clean, with lots of merchandise, however, their downfall is customer service. I ordered my bridesmaids dresses from them and was extremely disappointed. I based my wedding off of the pale yellow bridesmaids dress that I ordered. When the dresses came in I was very shocked to see a brighter yellow dress. It was absolutely not the color I ordered! I called and was told every excuse in the book as to why the color was different, like it was my phone, the lighting and MY EYES! I had 7 pictures of the dress in natural light and in their fitting room and the color stayed consistent. I asked them to compare the dresses and to call me back. I never received a call back so I went to the store to confront them. They finally agreed that the dye lot changed on the dress but I was still stuck with the dresses. There was no apology or ownership there. That was my first bad experience. My second experience was in regards to my future mother-in-laws dress. She was looking at several brand new dresses but found a style she really liked "off the rack." The dress was a size 18 so naturally she was concerned that they would not be able to alter it down to her size 4 frame. The owner Robert and one of the seamstresses said that they could absolutely fit the dress to her body etc. so she agreed to purchase the dress. Once alterations came along she was told that the size 18 bust area could not be modified because of the boning in the dress. (Keep in mind my seamstress at Pronovia's said it can be done but they are too lazy to do it) So, a woman with a size A cup now has a size D cup in a size 4 dress. It looks absolutely ridiculous and she should have been told the bust could not have been taken down. Once we confronted the owner, she pretty much said that her seamstress was amazing and they got the dress "as close to size as possible." She also said to my face she thought the bust was proportionate to a size 4, A-cup lady. It is absolutely AMAZING how they have zero ownership for their mistakes and make the customer feel horrible. The owner had the audacity to say that perhaps my mother-in-law should have bought a brand new dress. She absolutely would have purchased a brand new dress if she was not lied to and yes'd that the alterations would be perfect. There are far better stores to purchase dresses. I bought my wedding dress from Pronovias in NYC. The experience and quality of the dresses surpasses anything that Sposabella has to offer and the price is less expensive! Every bride deserves a wonderful experience and mine at Sposabella's has been horrible! Please beware of their gimmicky sales pitches and god forbid you critique anything - get ready for a fight from the owner because she is always right and the customer is wrong in her eyes. She needs to be less emotional and more of a professional business owner. I am not one to complain but feel other people should be careful. As a paying customer you should not be disrespected and should get what you want. read more

Anyone looking for a bridal dress, brides maids dresses etc...please BE WARE of Sposabella in Feasterville. Make sure that if you are purchasing something they give you all the details IN WRITING. Do not take the managers word in anything that she says!! I plan on reporting them to the BBB and will post everywhere how disgusting their actions have been. My best friend is getting married in Florida. She came to visit me a few months ago and we went dress shopping. We picked out 3 dresses for the bridal party and I worked out a deal to pay them cash and ship the other 2 dresses to Florida. At first they wanted a deposit upfront, then they wanted all 3 dresses paid for upfront in cash. I thought that was weird, but I also thought they are reputable. We ordered the dresses a little late so I kept asking about a rush fee since I needed the dresses by the end of September. They said they will let me know when I pay for the dresses upfront. I paid and they told me I was in luck, that the dresses will be here September 26th and I was just in time for the cut off so there is no rush fee. I was so pleased. A few weeks later they call me to tell me that they made a mistake and there is a rush fee. After I paid them upfront and they had the cash. My mistake was not getting in writing that there was NO RUSH fee. I expressed that I was displeased so they said they will see what they can do. They hung up and called me back and said they will take care of the $60.00 rush fee but I would have to pay the overnight fee. I asked how much, they said they don't know until the dresses came in. I called multiple times to see if they can call the shipping company and find out, they said they do not do that I would have to wait until the dresses came in. They called me when the dresses came in and told me the fee I owe for the "rush fee" IS $146.00. I told her there is no rush fee just an overnight fee, the lady said yea yea that's what I meant. I told them how ridiculous that was. Came in the store to have the manager scream at me that it is the way it works and that I ordered the dresses to late and the fee apparently she knew was between $120-$150.00 all the time. For whatever reason they decided not to tell me this ahead of time. I understand the rush fee, but how do you surprise someone with a fee and not tell them. Basically she kept the dresses in the store hostage until I paid her an additional $146.00. With the wedding a few weeks away I have no choice. There was no understanding from the manager and the girl upfront was really sweet and kept apologizing and you could tell she knew that they told me one thing and kept freaking changing it. They collect your money ahead of time and then they don't give a shit anymore. They gave me some BS paper that has the price per dress that she tried to get away with telling me it was the shipping paper, with half of the paperwork scribbled out with numbers. The bitchy manager proceeded to scream at me at a shop full of customers and then just walked away. I know better then to pay for a product or service ahead of time before they give you anything so PLEASE make sure you do not make the same mistake. read more

I had a wonderful experience today at Sposabella. First of all, the atmosphere is perfect. The facility is organized and beautiful. They were very welcoming to myself and my guests. Kim was awesome and went above and beyond to find the dress of my dreams for my wedding day. I found my dress today and couldn't be happier. We will definitely be back for bridesmaids and mother dresses. Thank you Sposabella! read more

After going to several places (probably 20 or more) I found Sposa Bella. Could not have been happier the staff was great to work with. The seamstress did a phenomenal job. My mother even found her dress there. The prices were reasonable and one of the only stores that sold long sleeve dresses. After having went to several other places I totally recommend Sposa Bella. The veils are also very beautiful. read more

I had a horrible experience. The shop is beautiful and the staff is helpful until they get your money. I was not measured properly and was then charged exorbitant amounts for alterations. I did not have my dress until 2 days before my event after having ordered it 5 months in advance. Stay away! read more

NEVER BUY A DRESS FROM SPOSABELLA!!!!! They are a deceitful business with staff that are utterly rude. None of the bridal party dresses fit properly (all 7 bridesmaids)! The bridesmaid dresses we received looked as though they were stuffed in the bottom of the box. The real issue was the bride's gown. She was told (many family members present as witnesses) that the dress she would receive would fit her properly with full chest coverage. LIES! Upon receiving the gown, her chest was barely covered-not appropriate for a church wedding. They claimed that alterations could not fix this issue and it was the bride's fault for choosing that style of gown. With the wedding one month away, they refused to assist her in any way. She is now scrambling to other stores to try to find a new gown to wear. As if the bride wasn't stressed enough. Sposabella also refused to accept any liability for this and gave her the gown in pieces after it could not be altered. AVOID THIS STORE AT ALL COST! Do not patronize this business as they blatantly lied to all of us just to sell a gown. We will be spreading the word to everyone we know to NEVER shop here! read more

Beware! I came w/a friend to look for her dress as MOB. The selection of dresses so impressed me that I returned to look for my own MOB dress. I had an appt. The assigned staff person seemed to be new and did not know the stock since the dress I selected came w/ a jacket but it must have been misplaced on the sample. Despite my conversation about wanting something to cover my bare arms, she brought me shawls and other jackets to purchase, never mentioning that the dress DID come w/ a jacket. I would have spent an additional sum of money had not my friend offered her shawl. No excuse for not knowing the merchandise! The biggest issue centered on the date for the fitting. My order was placed 17 weeks before the wedding. I was not given an arrival date but was not concerned due to my friend's experience. I am not one to be pushy so I waited and waited. 3 weeks before the wedding, I called to find out the status. No one could tell me,but I was promised someone would get back to me. No one did. After another few days, I called again. No one was available to look for the dress. Yes, they would call me. Bottom line, I was called to come for my fitting exactly one week before the big day. The dress was promised on Tuesday AM and was ready for me. It was all sealed as if I was going to take it without trying it on. They seemed put out that I wanted to try it on after extenuous alterations that were needed. I felt rushed and disrespected. The dress needed another adjustment that required me to make an additional trip to this shop on the last few days that I needed for other things. On my return trip to the shop, I was definitely not encouraged to retry the dress to be sure I was satisfied with the fit. I was not. The sample dress made me feel terrific, but was just a tad tight. I worried that if I gained any weight, the dress would be unzip-able. In ordering a size up, the fit was totally different. If I had had more than a few days before the wedding, I would have taken my time reviewing the alterations needed. SO: lovely dresses, nice ambience, great fitting room. Not so nice service. I would recommend fudging on the date you need the dress to prevent any disasters like this and perhaps taking your dress to your own seamstress. read more

This is a NEGATIVE update to my previous NEGATIVE review because Sposabella charged me twice for the same item. I suspect this might not be an accident! How unethical can a business be?? It would be easy to call a double charge an accident if the first charge was accidentally put through twice by the sales staff for the SAME AMOUNT....but they put through a charge for a different amount on my credit card. Sposabella may be one of those businesses that hopes you don't read your credit card bill very closely because for an Expensive wedding charges are easy to hide. Also its possible that another recorded transaction gets another commission for whoever puts it through. I cannot be more clear when I say DO NOT SHOP AT Sposabella!! Sposabella even contested the second charge when my credit card company conducted an investigation. I am utterly disgusted with their people and their business practices, and don't forget about their policy NEVER TO ACCEPT RETURNS!! In my opinion they bow down to the almighty dollar more than they care about providing a quality product to the consumer in an honest, ethical manner. STAY AWAY FROM Sposabella, your perfect day might get ruined before it gets started! Forewarned is forearmed! If Yelp allowed for a 0 star review, that is what I would give Sposabella; a one star review is too good for them. read more

My experience with Sposabella started out great but ended up being infuriating. I bought my veil from them and picking it out was great. The consultants were very helpful and I ended up finding a veil that I loved and paid in full to have it ordered. I was told that it would take 2-3 months to come in. Two months, then three months passed and I still hadn't heard anything about my veil. I contacted them and I was told that they checked on my order and it would be in that week. A month later I called them one weekday afternoon and the woman who answered was extremely rude. I was told that they were too busy to check on the status and would call me back. They never did. I called them again the next day (after trying for an hour to get through) and was told that they were too busy again and would call me back. I explained that I had been told the same thing the day before and that I was very frustrated. They apologized and promised to call this time. 30 minutes later they called and said that the veil had been in the store the entire time and that I could come pick it up. I went into the store to pick it up and they had it ready for me. While in the store I took it out of the bag to make sure it was what I ordered and it looked fine. There weren't any beads missing and there didn't seem to be any problem with the material. I took the veil home. Like another reviewer mentioned, the lighting in the store is very poor. When I got home I took the veil out of the bag in my living room where there is a lot of sunlight. Immediately I noticed several curly black hairs on the veil. Clearly, the veil had been tried on before and had not been ordered specially for me. I wouldn't care because it was in great condition, but I didn't pay the sample price. I paid full price and expected a brand new veil. The store is a good 50 minutes from my home so instead of going back I tried calling them. I tried calling several times over the next three days but got a busy signal every time. Eventually, I decided to forget it and just write this review instead. A word to other brides: double and triple check your items before leaving this store. [Written May 2013] read more

After looking into several stores in the area that carried Mother of the Bride options, my mom and I decided on this store. Unfortunately, from the moment I arrived at the salon I was left feeling disappointed. My mom had called a few days earlier to schedule an appointment, but when I arrived (after I spent a few minutes standing at the counter with no one in sight), the consultant told me that there was no appointment scheduled, but that it was no problem and it would be fine for my mom to try on dresses. After inquiring a second time about the appointment we made, she looked and said that it was mistakenly scheduled for the wrong day. There was one other group there (at least on the Mother of the Bride/bridesmaid side)--a mom with her daughter. The consultant seemed to be working with that group, but she advised us on where to look and showed us to a dressing room. There is one very large dressing room (which the mother/daughter pair were using) and two tiny ones on this side of the store. We were shown to one of the smaller rooms, and there was barely enough space for both of us. My mom and I worked as a pretty great team--with me bringing dresses into the room and helping her in/out of them, and her placing them back on the hangers while I took the 'no' dresses out of the room...though I couldn't help feeling like there should be someone from the store helping..at least with some of it. There is a fairly small mirror outside of two smaller dressing rooms for you to use. When we had initially arrived, the consultant mentioned that there was one particular designer that offered a size we were looking for. Later on, after the other mom/daughter had left the store and the consultant didn't seem especially busy (as there was no one else in the store), I approached her and asked her about that designer and where to find those dresses. She told me to look for any tag with the designer's name. Not especially helpful, since there was a wall full of dresses, most of which were in a plastic covering with their tag tucked inside. Long story short: my mom left empty-handed and we both left feeling deflated and disappointed at what should have been a special experience. read more

Staff is amazing, very pretty dressing rooms and lay out. 3 stars because I felt that they had 1200 of the same dress. I didn't find a single dress I liked which IS NOT THEIR FAULT. I felt to pressure to buy or love the dresses, the young lady who helped me was very sweet and honest, she picked up on our personalities and how we liked to move quick while changing, my 9 month old daughter was crawling around and she made sure there was nothing dangerous on the floor, very caring very sweet. If I could give this business a minus one, I would. Crowded, small and definetly not enough help. Overpriced with many unnecessary upcharges. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE: I've been a frequent shopper at the store for the last 4yrs. And it's touch and go if the customer service is going to be friendly and helpful or not. I just went there two weeks ago and the service and measuring was soso. I week to exchange something-never been worn with tags within the one week timeframe- the shop's rules and got the worst service of my life!!!! There's the manager who ALWAYS mispronunciates my name on purpose (and I have a very common name) and I practically had to beg the other lady to assist with another garment and when she finally caved in she basically told me that I was too FAT for the garment and left the dressing room and LEFT ME BARE BREASTED WITH THE DOOR TO THE ROOM WIDE OPEN!!!!! There were customers-some male and older gentlemen got a nice glimpse of bare chest through the mirror!!!!! POOR SERVICE!!!!! And to top it all off that very same clerk did not give me a reciept as proof of my exchange!!!!! My bridesmaids girls were supposed to get the dress there, I gave my information a few times. When one of my girls went there, they were completely lost , they didn't have my information right and priced the dress more.( I got my wedding dress there keep in mind) I called and ask what was going on, they apologized and said had a new girl working at the time. Giving them the benefit of the doubt. Another girl tried, same recurrence again. Very rude, changing the price of the dress, not helpful at all. I called again and ask to speak to the manager Roberto( of course she was busy) regardless I gave my info and concerns to have Roberto call me. Three days later no call backs from anyone. I would not recommend this store to anyone. They change the price of the bridesmaid dress to myself a few times also to my girls. Very UNHELPFUL, VERY RUDE PERSONNEL. I went to Sposabella after first going to a smaller bridal shop in the area, and the experience was pretty bad in comparison. When we walked in we were ignored by the saleswomen at the desk..after standing there for a few minutes they asked if we needed help (yes we had an appointment). We met our consultant who didn't ask me anything about the style I was looking for, she simply said I could go around and start picking things I wanted to try. This was very overwhelming, there are a ton of dresses in there and going through them yourself does not seem like the best way to select something for your style. I tried on about 15 dresses in 30 minutes, the consultant didn't even help me put them on or clip them appropriately. Out of 15 dresses, I didn't even like one of them. Very disappointed with Sposabella and I would not recommend this shop to anyone. read more

Getting married in 4 days and wanted to write this before so I wouldn't forget and it could help someone in the future. Sposabella has a beautiful selection and store with friendly service while you're there. I had a good experience while shopping and trying on my future dress. The shop agreed to have my dress shipped in by the holidays and then suddenly that just wasn't the case anymore they oh so casually told me through voicemail (after I had called several times to ask about it the week of, AND they assured me it was still coming on time as discussed months prior) When I talked to the owner via email, she pushed it to be shipped on time as we originally agreed and offered me a $100 credit which was very nice and all was well, I let it go totally. Then... the dress comes in and its big on me but the seamstress says--"two sizes too big". I have very wide hips and a slender upper body and they essentially measured me as though my hips were my entire body. To whoever measured me in house while trying this gown on : THIS IS YOUR ONLY JOB I can't be the only girl with an hourglass shape and I was the exact same weight, nothing had changed. Measure and report accurately!!!!!!!!!!!!! this is so deceptive. To boot, no one in the shop told me an estimate of how much my dress would cost to be altered. I was removing straps so I knew it wouldn't be cheap, but to not give an estimate up front??? I wouldn't have spent as much initially! I hadn't thought of that, because this is obviously my first time buying a gown and I was distracted by loving my dress! Alterations made the dress almost double in price... Oh great no big deal! wtf. I took it elsewhere and saved around $300. This place has a good selection but they couldddd definitely measure you like they did me, completely incorrectly, and then charge you way too much for alterations because as a boutique they need to skim off the top assumably. Lastly I tried to use my $100 credit and the front desk on the phone asked me to prove I was given this credit instead of looking my name up in the system. I emailed the owner for help and she simply never got back to me! I wasn't going to write this had she done so. Great business model. Overall, clean store, good selection, buyer beware, don't get it altered in house, if they say it'll be in on time, make sure you get it in writing and have someone sign off. read more

Every person that I have dealt with in this shop both in person and over the phone has been rude and not very helpful. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking to have a good experience whether shopping for their own bridal gown, bridesmaid dresses or mother gowns. I purchased my wedding dress in July. I had a wonderful experience there the woman who helped me Deborah was amazing helped me find my perfect dress and was very patient with me! I was there for 4 hours with no problem. However I just went back this weekend for my bridesmaid dresses... HORRIBLE experience!!!! I had an appointment at 12:00 at 1:20 I was told our apt was up and was never told on the phone we had a time limit. So I said Okay I will have my bridesmaid still try on dresses without anyone's help and the woman told me "no you cant you have to make another appointment.. So we left and 20 minutes later I decided to call back and complain. I told the woman on the phone we got kicked out basically and she was acting all confused as if she wasn't there when the woman told us this.. We went back 25 minutes later because we really liked this dress and I wanted all the girls to get sized since its hard to get everyone together.. Might I add when we went back 25 minutes later THE STRE WAS EMPTY.... So what appointments were happening that we had to leave? Also the dress we picked out the first time we went earlier that day we were told it only came in one color... When we came back a different lady told us it came in 20 different colors.... SO THE WORKERS ARE LAZY.. They basically told us to leave and lied to get rid of us. If I didn't love the dress I wouldn't of went back. I now know I will never go there again nor get any alterations done there. Their selection is great but STAFF SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You think they would want to make the sale? Very disappointed. read more

I've never written a bad review, but I am so disappointed that I decided to get my wedding dress from Sposabella that I wanted to warn others. I had the worst experience with them from start to end. First of all, their staff is horrendous; they have NO customer service at all, even the manager Roberta was awful. When I put down the deposit and ordered my dress, they said it would be here in 6 months (which would be around Thanksgiving). Thanksgiving came and went, I figured with the holiday I'd give them a few extra weeks, expecting them to call me and tell me it would be late... well I shouldn't have expected that because they don't care at all about their customers. I had to call and ask about the status of my dress in December, only to be told it should be there soon. I had to call back in January when it still wasn't here (and mind you, no one bothered to call me). It was weeks shy of 9 months when I called again and they said it was in; I was livid. They said that there was nothing wrong on their end as they have 9 months apparently in small print to have the dress come in... let alone I was told numerous times it would be 6 months and the people I talked to in Dec/Jan kept saying it was just because of the holiday, just making up excuse after excuse. Then, when I finally had my dress, I tried it on and it fit perfectly (although they had tried to get me to buy the bigger size; another ploy to just get you to spend more money and alter the dress); except I looked like Madonna, in that I looked like I had CONE boobs! The seamstress said she would try to fix it and would take in a bit on the side to do something to fix the cup. I was quoted that it would be about $250 for the hem/bustle which I was fine with. A day before I went to my fitting, the staff called and said I had to bring cash for my fitting and wouldn't tell me how much; they said would recommend $400; I was thinking it would be about $300 since she had to fix the cup; but it cost $450! And the cup was EXACTLY the same if not worse! I complained profusely to the manager Roberta and she agreed that I shouldn't have to pay for that part of the dress but said she didn't know how much that the refund would be and that a Karen from the financial department would call me and work things out. Imagine this, I never got a phone call... I had to call (I gave them a full week and a half to call me!). I spoke to Karen and she said that she is not the person who would have that information, it would be the manager, Roberta.... so again just more back and forth. I asked for her to have Roberta call me and she said she would leave her a note and have her call me that afternoon/the next day. Again, no phone call. A day before my final fitting, I got a reminder phone call from Karen saying that my appointment was the next day. I asked her why Roberta had never called me back and she didn't even seem to know what I was talking about; she said again that she would leave her a message. I went back for my final fitting and to pick up my dress and again, no change to the cup... still Madonna. And get this.... they said I wouldn't be given a refund for that portion of the dress. The seamstress wasn't even there for my final fitting and no one could show my sister how to do the bustle; they scheduled the appointment in the middle of the day so the seamstress could be there and she wasn't even there.... the manager had her call me to explain that she needed to "take in the dress" that is where the extra money came from, which was never explained to me, it fit perfectly. This place is really corrupt and does not care about their customers at all. In the end, I got a measly $30 refund for the "cup issue". I asked the manager Roberta why she had never returned my calls and she said she was busy and had been out. Please run as fast as you can from this place; don't let them ruin your wedding day. read more

After going to another bridal shop close by, walking into Sposabella was a breath of fresh air. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and were told to take a look around. I told the woman helping me what I was looking for and she started picking dresses that might work. What I really loved though, was that she also told me, my Mom, and my sister to take a look around and pick out anything we liked! I loved that we were able to pick out the dresses instead of only the worker picking them for me. Once we picked a few we went back to the GIANT fitting room. It was lovely to have space that allowed everyone to be in the room with me while I tried on the dresses. After my dress came in, I had my alterations done at the shop. The woman I worked with was very meticulous and paid attention to every detail. She did an amazing job. Overall, the people here and the service really are above and beyond. If you want a nice bridal shop where you can be in control, look no further - Sposabella is the place! read more

I wouldn't recommend this place to any bride. At first, the sales women seem helpful and caring, but once the sale is done, they couldn't care less. I was originally pleased with the service, but 10 months later when I went to finally have my first fitting, the staff was unpleasant and careless. As soon as we came in, the seamstress was rude and very cold. In a nutshell, she basically said absolutely do not fluctuate in weight, as that would make her job harder and double work. Granted, the dress needed to be taken in a lot, but either way, she is paid to do the job. After a comment like that, my mom, sister and myself were somewhat shocked at the tone of the entire fitting. Then the seamstress goes on to tell us she'll give us the price necessary for these alterations but asked if we knew of a close tailor/seamstress in the family or someone that we could use instead. She then gave us a few minutes to think it over. I'm sorry, but if you understand how to run a business, you don't let your clientale just leave and use someone else's services. After that, we were DEFINITELY not going to use this store any further. They basically didn't want to do the work and wanted to watch us leave. After the awful 2 minute "fitting", we were ready to get out of there, after such rude service. We were about to pay for the dress, veil, and another accessory that I had ordered. (Months before, someone from the store called me to confirm ALL ITEMS were finally delivered and waiting in the store.) Of course, they had no track of the accessory in the computers and basically all of the staff (including the owner) was playing the blame game and didn't want to take any responsibility. Long story short, I finally got what I needed, but had to follow up numerous times myself. They're very unorganized and unprofessional once they get the sale. Beware!!...they seem helpful at first, but if you actually purchase your dress there, then they're on to the next. They just DO NOT care!! For a bride to have to deal with such a headache, especially when it should be a very exciting time, is very unfortunate. I wouldn't recommend going here for the sake of all brides! read more

I totally forgot to yelp this place. I came here for 2 bridesmaids dresses. The dresses were pretty but the customer service was awful. The first time my bridesmaid and I went it didn't take us long to find the dress. I mean it was the 3rd dress she tried on so we were in there maybe a half hour. Pretty easy right? So we order the dress and I take my other bridesmaid in weeks later so she can get fitted for her dress. We walk in, I grab the dress without any help (didnt need it, i knee what to get) and went up to the front to give them my name for our appointment. The sales associate looked us up and down and treated us terribly. Maybe it was my cat sweater or my cousins hand tattoo, I don't know but she was short with us, did not offer to help in any way except wait directly outside the dressing area and ask if we were done. I asked her for a clamp to tighten the dress and her reply was "are you buying it?" I felt absolutely terrible as this was my younger cousin's first bridesmaid experience and it was supposed to be fun. This lady has a job to do and I thought I made it easy by showing up on time with the dress picked out. There was no sales on her part. I was married back in May and everything was so great. You always have the negative but this kinda stayed in my back pocket. It was therapy to write this review. I only write positive reviews but this broad really upset me. I'm glad I got my wedding dress somewhere else. read more

When entering this store I was amazed at the selection of gorgeous dresses. I had an appointment with my mother, mother in law, maid of honor as well as one bridesmaid. No one helped us so we began pulling dresses ourselves. When someone finally came to meet with us they simply took our dresses to the dressing room and never offered any suggestions. I found an amazing dress but went to other stores to be sure that this was "the dress". When making a second appointment to order my dress my mother, bridesmaids, father and I all had an appointment. Again, we had to ask for help and I may have actually pulled my own dress. They don't give you the "bridal" feel by suggesting accessories or veils etc. I ordered my dress after being sized (I was between a 6 and 8 and requested the 8 because I was not dieting for a wedding). After almost 9 months my dress finally came in. Super excited I go to try on my dress and it was nothing short of a disaster. A lovely new hire was fitting me in my dress. She wasn't aware that the built in corset straps were rolled inside the dress (one on each side about 1-1.5 inches thick - almost 3 inches of strap). I put the dress on and couldn't breathe and immediately started panicking. The woman training the young nice girl did nothing to assist and actually told me I needed to lose 5-10 pounds before my first fitting and hurry to book since the wedding was in 2 months. I told her they must have ordered the incorrect size because I am 5'6 120 and not losing weight. She merely ignored me and told me to lose 5-10 pounds. I left hysterical. After starving myself for the weekend (not eating at my bridal shower) I left numerous messages for the owner. The owner would not return my calls but the seamstress did and I made an appointment with her. Turns out it was the corset straps as the dress was actually too big. Rather then the woman working there checking she had me crash dieting. The dresses are gorgeous but the customer service sucks and they play a shady pay cash game (I was told to bring cash for alterations without an approximate price and alteration payments were due day of the fitting cash only). My dress turned out to be gorgeous but the experience was less then perfect. 4 of my bridesmaids and my mother also ordered their dresses there. 2 of the 4 bridesmaids dresses were too short (the place sized everyone) and my MOH was told she needed a plus size dress. She ordered said dress, lost no weight and her dress fell off of her when they finally arrived (after 6 months we were told 3). We went to the store and asked that she be re measures where they said the size was correct. She put the dress on for the woman who just measured her and said it was the appropriate size. Her dress literally fell off! They refused to fix the issue. A $355 dress then cost an additional $250 in alterations at another store. While the dresses are gorgeous the customer service is awful and the additional stress and expense isn't worth it. I suggest looking else where. read more

Waste of time. The store has a classy appearance but the staff was rude. Two salons had my dress - Sposabella was more expensive but undercut the other price when told. However because the staff at Country Bridal was so helpful and bent over backwards to give me a wonderful experience. I decided to get my dress there. I did however want my veil from Sposa - they were rude and completely ignored me. They threw my card away with the style. When I went back to the store to try to find the right veil, they ignored me and would not assist me in any way. When I directly asked for a specific manufacturer and style number they walked away from me. When I asked a question, I was told they would check and they never returned with answers. I maybe could understand if they were busy and trying to make the big sale but I was one of two people in the store with a minimum of four people working. After a half hour I left. I returned to Country Bride and again had a wonderful experience. They pulled my dress and checked every veil until they had the perfect match. I would not recommend Sposabella to anyone and would sing praises for Country Bride. read more

They love you and pamper you until they make the sale, then it's all down hill from there! When I was looking for my dress, I couldnt have asked for better service, I loved them. However, as soon as I handed over money to order the dress, the problems started. The worst problem out of it all, was that they lied to us over and over again. They gave us a sample dress and thought we wouldnt notice the word"sample" embroidered on the bottom, then we had to wait while she, "made it right". They eventually gave us a dress the week before the wedding that was clearly a size 10 that they sewed a size 8 tag into. Too late for us to even get fixed! They should be ashamed, but all the while didnt care! And dont even bother trying to deal with the owner's husband, his key line is "I'm just a man in a woman's world", he is useless!! It was such a shame they left such a bitter taste in my mouth when its hard enough to swallow the amount weddings cost these days! read more

I had the most awful experience with this shop. I tried on a rather expensive outfit, not a gown, it was a pants suit. It was way too big so they measured me for a smaller size and said they would order it but I would have to pay for it. So of course I did. After 3 weeks, I finally went in and tried to pick up the outfit and they said it came in but handed me back the same exact outfit I had tried on that was 2 sizes too big! I said this isn't the size we ordered and they said ok the wrong size must have been sent. I was skeptical because it seemed like the exact one I had tried on. They said they would order me the right size. 2 weeks later I went back and they gave me the outfit this time all the tags were cut out! They tried to tell me it was the right size. I knew it wasn't. It was huge on me. They said they could alter it. I refused because I knew they were trying to pull a fast one on me. Can you imagine cutting out the tags and then tell me it was the right size!!! Shameful! They are deceitful women who have no idea how to run a dress shop. Don't go there. In their defense they did refund my charge but that was only because I was carrying on and the shop was crowded. read more

Let me start by saying that I wish I could say something nice about Sposabella but they just kept digging a hole for themselves throughout the process and I should have saw the initial mistake during my second appointment as a red flag. I initially went to Sposabella with my mom and sister. I liked 3 dresses but I was told I couldn't take pictures to see which one I liked the best so I wanted to bring back my mother in law and some friends to help me decide. I was told that by my consultant they she wrote down the dress designers and numbers for my next appointment. Well, the day of the second appointment, my sister arrived before me and my consultant asked her if she remembered the dresses because SHE LOST MY CARD. Seriously?! It's 2015, you don't have an electronic filing system?! Or an organized staff who won't lost people's information?! So no, of course my sister didn't remember the 3 dresses out of the hundreds of white dresses they have in the store!! And why didn't they call to tell me in advance? Luckily I remembered the brand of the dresses I liked so they were able to pull two of the three but the third was sold off the rack the week prior so I couldn't even try it on again! (They never told me about a upcoming sale or that I could buy it as is). I ended up going with one of the two I initially chose after trying on several more. Now on to alterations - ridiculously expensive - over $500 total!! My initial alteration payment was for over $400. Then to make it worse I was told I owed more money after my final fitting because they made a minor adjustment to the bust. What?!? If they didn't do it right the first time, why should I owe more money?! Keep in mind that I hadn't lost or gained any weight so it made no sense at all but after standing at the counter and arguing with them I just paid because I didn't feel like dealing with the stress during an already stressful process. At the end of the day, I am happy that the process is over and that I had an amazing wedding. Good luck to any brides who are fooled by their nice appearance. The only reason I gave them two stars instead of one is because I loved my dress (but it is sold elsewhere...) read more

this rating may be a little long but worth the trouble to read. went to buy a dress for my grandaughter wedding. was measured by the sales clerk and selected a dress that was to be order in my size. that was thursday. changd my mind about the dress (thought it was a little too young for me so I called on the following Monday to cancel. altho they said the dress had to be ordered special and would take at least 2 weeks. low and behold I couldn't cancel cause the dress was alreasdy in the store. went over to try it on and altho I was easured by them the dress was entirely too tight. So I said I didn't want the dress in another size. I want my money back Oh No, you cna have a gift certificate for the money. This is a formal dress shop!! they don't have anything I can use so I picked out another dres that was cheaper than the original dress. I could not have the remainder od my money back either. I would have to buy something within 90 days or forfiet my money which was 273.00 dollars. Since the dress didn't fit properly, I toojk it my seamstress to have it altered. As she was fixing the dress she happened to notice that the dress had been altered before!!! The dresss has an insert and it was on with snaps. She said dress factories never, never use snaps to add a piece of material where this was. In other word the sold me an altered dress and never informed me of theier deceit. Can you even in wyour wildest dreams that some one would pull a fast one like that on you. I know nothing about sewing and alterations but i do know that my seamstess is honest and was telling me the truth. I would like to go in front of that shop and picket that shop and tell everyone i know how dishonesty this store is. If it can happen to me, what makes they will treat you with the respect and goodwill that you arem entitled to? Please there are other stores with just as pretty dresses that have policies that are FAIR to their customers. read more

My daughter decided to go here because her maid of honor got her dress and bridesmaids dresses here. She was initially told her dress was almost twice the price than it really was--almost did not get the dress that she really wanted because of that. Allie helped her out and everything ended up all good---now Allie is not there anymore--she was great!! The women at the front desk are not friendly. We ordered lace to that matched my daughters dress to put on her veil and it took over four months to arrive. My daughter had to keep calling and never got an answer on when it would be in. It arrived two weeks before the wedding and she had to call for them to tell her it was it. The second experience was my son's fiance. She found a dress she really loved and they were able to get for her so she made an appointment to try on. She drove an hour and they didn't even have the dress. The lady pulled the wrong dress and when my soon to be daughter in law showed her the dress she called about the lady informed her that they probably sold if off the rack---she will not be going back and I will not recommend this place to anyone! read more
