My original review from over a year ago, was when I first bought my dress and had an amazing experience with Tori. I'm now married and updating my review because things turned negative after I picked up my dress, the night before my wedding. I got it home and unzipped the bag to realize it was never steamed. I called and they promised it was, but it definitely did not look it. I also noticed multiple tiny holes along the bottom of my dress, but it was the night before my wedding, so there was nothing I could do. Throughout my wedding day, we kept finding large safety pins throughout my dress. We found about 10 of them by the end of the night. During alterations, we were told that the safety pins would be removed when the dress was steamed, which leads me further to believe that my dress was never steamed. Overall, I was very upset with my ending experience at Sposabella and will not recommend them again. It started off so great and just went south. The end result is the most important and it seems like they forgot that. read more

I was really looking forward to my appointment at Sposabella because I knew they had a wide variety of dresses. When we arrived our consultant Gloria was 20 minutes late to my appointment because she "had to eat lunch so that she wasn't a cranky consultant". In those 20 minutes, my sister and I pulled a variety of dresses to see what style I liked. Immediately Gloria said that I won't like ballgown because that's not what my inspo photos reflected. When we got to the dressing room she wouldn't let my postpartum sister sit down because she "needed her" to clip the dresses and hang them up when I was done with them (which should have been her job). My sister was running around and was way more helpful than Gloria because Gloria took 15 minutes to hang up one dress. Also, before I would even try on a dress she would tell me that I wouldn't like it, which gave a negative tone to what was supposed to be a fun experience. I also would ask Gloria the shape and fabric of the dresses I liked and she couldn't answer for any dress which is very unprofessional as a bridal consultant. Once we narrowed down our dresses, we wanted to take pictures so that we could look at the dresses when we got home online and remember the styles. Gloria immediately snapped at us that we couldn't take pictures because "it's annoying when people pick their dress here and then buy it somewhere else". She basically told us that we have the designer and can search the website ourselves to find the dress instead of making our lives easier and giving us the style # to find it immediately. WOW they are going to give me a new bag.. not a garment bag just a new bag and steam it like they were suppose to from the get go AVOID THIS VERY UNPROFFESIONAL PLACE OVER PRICED AND WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER EVER.... horrible horrible horrible got home after spending 700.00 for the dress and alterations dress was in a bag piece of crap bag that I would get if I had gone to JC PENNY and bought a 50.00 dress. It was my final fitting and to avoid driving back again which was a 40 minute ride, I asked that they steam it.. They pretty much rushed me out with the piece of crap bag and I get home to find out not only did they not steam out the wrinkles, they never even zipped the dress. It was falling off the hanger and was more wrinkled then when I tried it on.. absolutely unacceptable.. they will be hearing from me the minute the store opens read more

Do not recommend if you wish to actually enjoy your experience with finding a dress and enjoying being a bride!!!!! At first I had the best experience FINDING my dress with one of the staff who truly took a lot of time to help me find my dress, my mom and I just loved how personal she was and listed to exactly what I wanted. Because we knew how much time she took on helping us we chose to by the dress here. I was told that I would get my dress In September, that was not the case. I continued to call every week to get a status of my dress because being that I was getting married in January I wanted to be sure there was enough time for alterations. Every time I called, I was told the same thing... "Your dress is on its way, it should be here any day now. We will contact you when its in." This lasted for 2 months. Finally when my dress DID come in mid November, we made an appointment for a consultation. When we arrived I asked for the employee who worked with me and when she will be in and they informed me that she was working less hours, but no other information. (mind you each time I went in I asked for the same person and I was told again, the same story over and over)... Came to find out she was no longer working there but they were telling me otherwise. The first thing I was asked when I tried my dress on for the first time was if I had already had alterations done to the dress. I was confused when she asked me this because as a business you should know that you didn't receive my dress in on time and this was my consultation. When I said No, my dress was in two months late and this is the first time trying it on, she explained well I should have had at least appointment for my alterations done already as if it were my fault. The attitude was not appreciated at all and I was rushed through my appointment to get out of there because there was a half hour left until close. I will say that I was very pleased to try on my dress and find it was a great fit, I did need some alterations though. I bought my dress, under skirt, veil, along with all 6 of my bridesmaids buying their dresses there and also my mother-in-law. With all of the business we brought to their shop we thought we would have some give on the pricing for the alterations. Absolutely not, they were charging $500 at the lowest for a simple hem and a few other basic things. No give on the price at all. We decided we wanted to see about a better price somewhere else, once we said this we were given some attitude. After finding out that this dress was not an easy fix for alterations, we called back asking if we could go back to have alterations done there so that it was done properly, we were told there is no longer any time to do alterations again, with an attitude and that they could no longer help us. Needless to say my experience here went from great to absolutely awful. read more

This was the first time my future daughter-in-law was trying on dresses, let say when we left the store after only trying on 1 dress, she was in tears. The Sales lady lied to my face telling me that the designers don't send out bigger gowns for them to try on, EXCUSE ME, yes they do! We went to another store that day and guess what they had, ton's of dress that she tried on. This was suppose to be a fun time for her and they ruined it. We had a terrible experience here. They were not prepared, didn't know the dress the bride picked out and only had one dress in one size. The service was terrible! No one was helping us or knew any answers to any questions and they were not very nice. After this experience the bride is looking for a different dress at a different store. This place is clean and welcoming though the staff is a bit snooty. I got help from Luda who was not warm but was efficient and thorough. I was a bit disappointed at her lack of knowledge on brands and prices. Though I didn't find my dress, I would reccomend this place. The price range was reasonable from 900 and up. read more

I just came back from Sposabella and bought my wedding dress, veil, and sash!!! For those who have been searching and searching for "the dress", your search will end here! Laura was my consultant- she was FABULOUS!! She was sooo easy to talk to, listened to all of my detailed requests and pulled a "Randy" from SYTTD. I loved the sash to one gown but the bottom to another- so we combined the two and voila- I SAID YES TO THE DRESS!! I have been to 6 other bridal stores, Kleinfeld's included but walked away disappointed. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Sposabella. This shop is gorgeous, clean and the customer service we received was superb. I went to Sposabella to find my perfect wedding gown after visiting 3 other shops earlier in the day. This was by far the best experience I had. Kim, the bridal consultant assisting me, was extremely friendly and helpful. She pulled dress after dress, helping me anyway she could. The best part of my experience, was that I was the only one there and I did not feel rushed at all! Kim listened to what I wanted and went above and beyond to help me find my perfect dress. I can't say enough good things about this place. From its appearance to its staff, everything and everyone is great. I had a really hard time finding the right color of sage that I wanted for my bridesmaid dresses and not being able to see a certain dress in person is really hard. Allie, went above and beyond for me trying to find the right color. Even so much as to emailing another bride who had bought my bridesmaid dress so I could see the color in person. I came here looking for my wedding gown. The staff was friendly and helpful. Their selection was not huge, but they had some really beautiful dresses. The dressing room is nice and large. I did not get my dress here, but I did purchase a beautiful rhinestone headpiece that I loved. Overall, the prices were decent. I am a curvy bride and I was not given the proper courtesy that a thinner bride would have received. I got comments about "not fitting" into the gown MANY times. Another comment was "I can't zip this up". If you are unable to zip it, or it doesn't fit, please say it in a better way! Or, hold it up in front of me. Do not belittle your plus sized clients please. I ended up leaving the salon in tears. As a bride, I should have NEVER been treated that way. Shame on you and your salon! I am aware that all bridesmaids dresses are priced differently. This store seemed to be pricier than others I've been to. I had to call ahead to pick up my bridesmaid dress. When I arrived to pick it up, the dress was ready to go. When the lady working the front asked if I wanted to try on the dress, I said no because I was on my way to the airport. This was one of my favorite places to shop for my wedding dress. I didn't end up purchasing my dress here, but it wasn't for the lack of stunning dresses. The staff is very friendly. The best part about this store, unlike most bridal stores, is that you can actually see the dresses. Most bridal store have their wedding dresses in plastic dress covers and make it impossible for the bride to decide if its worth trying on. Their dressing room are large and open AND they let you take pictures of you in the dress! This was a huge deal considering some places I went to, it was off limits completely. This is major purchase in a girls life, you should be allowed to review your options once you leave and see yourself in the dress. It's like a place you'd see in the movies! I'm from NJ and was underwhelmed by many of the shops I visited. Not that the staff or selection was bad-- no shop was particularly beautiful. However sposabella was immaculate. It felt how it was supposed to feel. Clean pretty girl sparkly and bright! The staff was so sweet and helpful and you can tell they actually enjoy their jobs. I never felt rushed or pressured. I can't recommend it enough. I will be dragging all my friends and family there for their big day for the experience alone! This is the first negative review I have ever given. This was our 3rd place that my daughter and I went to find her perfect dress. Our expectations were set from going to the first two places and being treated like queens and very special. I wish I knew the girls name, but I can't remember due to being so upset the entire visit. It started from as soon as we walked in the door we were greeted with a non excited that we were there attitude. We had an appointment. We started looking at dresses and I tripped over a manikins stand that was covered up by the dress. Not their fault, however the girl literally watched my daughter reach for me (and she almost tripped too) as I went completely down to the ground. The girl never said ONE WORD! Not...are you ok? Not...are you hurt? NOTHING! She just stared at us and then waited for us to collect ourselves and then asked if we found anything. I cut my foot on something and it was bleeding. I was directed to sit in a chair to wait for my daughter. Still nothing said. As I was sitting there I could hear them talking (a curtain is the only thing between you and your daughter at this point). It was clear my daughter had the dress on and they were discussing it. I kept waiting for her to open the curtain. The girl just kept talking with my daughter about what she liked and disliked about the dress. I finally said "excuse me, can I see my daughter?" The girl responded with "I was just about to open the curtain". Then as I stood up to get a good look at my beautiful daughter she says "you can see perfectly from the chair!" The next dress this same scenario happened again although I went ahead and opened the curtain myself as she kept it closed and talked to my daughter for a minute or two about the dress. We left feeling horrible. My daughter was so disgusted with how they made her feel with the non professionalism and the worst customer service we have ever had. Just an awful experience. Went into Sposabella because the window clearly states that they sell prom gowns but was told in a very condescending tone that they do not sell prom gowns. So to anyone looking for a prom gown...Sposabella does not sell prom gowns. The very rude woman, did not ask what type of gown I was interested in and just dismissed me and went on checking in her fedEx or whatever she was preoccupied doing. A drive to North Jersey is more palatable than the thought of ever stepping foot in Sposabella. read more

Our clothes arrived torn and broken for a wedding and when we called, they said there is nothing they can do but send it back to the manufacture and that is wasn't their fault. We told them that we lived farther away and that the wedding was too close for that, and they said all that they could not help and we would have to pay to fix the items ourselves. Absolute worst service here bridesmaid dress shopping on a Saturday. We had an appointment and our bride was so excited to check this place out. Initially, someone did point out where the dresses were to us. No one ever asked what we were looking for or helped us pull any dresses. Once we picked what we like on our own, we found a sales woman to get us a dressing room. She stated we could go in the larger room but if a bride came in we would have to be moved. Not exactly polite for customers with an appointment, this should already be scheduled properly that you aren't having to move anyone. We opted just to take the smaller rooms. Once we were trying on the dresses, again no one checked on us, no one helped us fit the dresses to get the right look, no one offered to pull more dresses. We were so dissatisfied with how we were treated we got dressed and left and they didn't even notice enough to say goodbye! In addition to this, the dresses are haphazardly shoved in racks, it's like shopping at a discount store like TJ Maxx or Ross and rooting through the racks. I have been a bridesmaid in 5 weddings previous to this one, shopped in countless dress shops. This was by far the most horrible experience. One star review is one star too many. read more

Went with my best friend (bride) and another bridesmaid to try on dresses. We left extremely turned off as we made an appointment and the associate remained missing. We fell in love with a dress and when it came time to look at colors, we had to beg for color swatches only after we searched the store for the associate. In addition, the dresses we tried on and liked kept being taken and put back on the racks. The bride was not made to feel special and was given dirty looks when asking for help. For my first time ever trying on wedding dresses, I was hoping to have a great experience but that was not the case. I was told they had a dress, I was dying to try on. But in reality they did not. So they pulled dresses based off the two I showed them. Loved them all but was beyond disappointed that they mainly pulled non plus size dresses. I understand that they pulled based on the style I was looking for but when you can't try on over half the dresses or you almost rip them you start to feel like your a whale. The two dresses I did get to try on, was way to much dress for me I felt like I was going to drown. So the lady pulled her choice. When I said it was a very pretty dress but wasn't my dress she completely shut down and the rest of my appointment was even less enjoyable then the first half. They also wanted cash so you didn't have to pay the sales tax on the dress. As well as wanted 70% down just to order the dress. The whole experience made me beyond upset. I don't understand if your supposed to be a high end store how you can make people feel like they are bothering you or that what they want doesn't matter. read more

My brother's fiance used this shop for her gown, as well as her bridesmaid dresses. It's safe to say that I will not be using this shop when I get married. When I went to the shop for my first fitting, I was given the wrong size to try on. I was told they ordered the wrong size for me and that I would have to come back. When I called to reschedule, I was told that they had my dress in the correct size all along. Apparently, no one bothered to double check in their storage while I was in the store. A week or so later, I visited the store after getting fitted under the assumption my dress would be ready for pick up. To my surprise, nothing was done to the dress. I fitted the dress again, for what reason I have no clue, and went on my way. I went to the store a week later to try on the dress with all of the alterations, just to point out that they forgot one alteration. After 6 visits to the store, I was finally able to pick up my bridesmaid dress. For my inconveniences, the shop took off $10, but that clearly didn't match my frustration. Although the staff was helpful and personable, it wasn't worth the countless trips and stress I experienced. read more

I bought my wedding gown from sposabella last spring and then moved out of state. I waited 8 months for the dress to "come in" when I was told at the time of ordering it would take 4-6 months. I ordered a size 6 and when I picked up the dress it was a size 8. when I questioned this I was told that the designer changed their sizes and the measurements for the old 6 were now an 8. I had the dress altered at another location that sells the same designer and the seamstress asked where I had the alterations started. When I told her the dress hadn't been worked on yet that it was new she showed me several places that the dress had been altered already. She also said that the designer had not changed sizing. Wonderful Experience It was 4:00 PM Saturday afternoon when, tired and discouraged from weeks of unsuccessful MOG shopping, I decided to stop by Sposabella. I was greeted warmly and invited to look around until the associate finished taking care of another customer. In just a few minutes Roberta introduced herself and I explained my situation--limited time, budget, and color choices, along with certain "mature body" needs. She really listened and pulled a number of beautiful dresses. I was delighted that they all fit and looked nice but the third one was "the one." I went back for my fitting the next week and the seamstress checked every detail, making sure the dress hugged the line of my back and shoulders with no gaps. I couldn't have been happier. The place is really beautiful and well-designed with spacious dressing rooms, an elegant rest room, and a large selection of evening gowns arranged by color family. The samples are clean and crisp, not shopworn like some other places. Most important, they didn't make me feel bad about my budget. Other places tried to convince me I needed to spend thousands of dollars on a MOG dress. Not true. I found a great gown, beautifully made and finished, at a great price. I recently went with my sister to Sposabella for her first dress fitting. After putting on the dress, we realized it was ordered 2 sizes too small due to a sizing error. The owner did not seem very apologetic, just simply stated that "yes, she was sized wrong." Luckily, the seamstress was extremely helpful and easy to work with. I cannot believe the owner didn't even CARE her employee messed up a bust size by 3 inches!!! I am sickened by the customer service, or lack thereof, and do NOT recommend Sposabella for future brides. read more

I went to Sposabella looking for a gown for my upcoming wedding. The shop is absolutely gorgeous and they offer a huge selection of moderately priced gowns! The attention to detail in both the shop and the staff is amazing. You definitely get a high-end bridal experience without the insane price-tag. Laura was my consultant and she was FABULOUS to work with. She completely understood the style that I was looking for and it felt like I was dress shopping with an old friend. She picked so many amazing dresses within my budget that it was actually hard to find one that I didn't love. I wanted to make sure to tell everyone about my experience with this bridal salon. When I first went there I was impressed. I worked with Lauren and loved her. I met with the seamstress multiple times and things seemed to be ok. That was until the actual day of the wedding. When I put my dress on it was perfect.....for maybe an hour. Once I put it on and sat the boning/structure of the dress folded onto itself and didn't hold its shape at all! I am very self-conscious of my chest and when I went there the first thing I said was "I wanted a dress that doesn't accentuate my larger chest" and a strapless dress with a corset back is what was recommended. My wedding was ruined-I had terrible cleavage that made me feel cheap, I couldn't dance or have any drinks as I was so self-conscious. I spent the entire night pulling at the dress, having my bridesmaids re-tie the corset (which did nothing but I felt I had to keep trying), and feeling uncomfortable in my own skin. I'm a conservative person and this dress was night and day from when I put it on to when the boning folded on itself. I called the manufacturer of the dress (Sincerity) and I was immediately told that this dress was made for a B cup or less (I am a D). When I pointed this out to the bridal shop manager she quickly told me that wasn't true and to have me come down and look at the dress. This is where everything continued to go downhill. The manager and seamstress were very nice when we met and said they had "never seen this in 33 years" and I'd hear back from her after she contacts the dress manufacturer. Of course I never heard back and then received multiple emails completely contradicting what she said in our meeting. She was contradicting herself because I had the dress manufacturer copied on the email. All I was offered was to have my dress preserved (I'd have rather had them offer to burn it for me as it's the worst reminder of what should have been the perfect day). A good store would have refunded the money as obviously something was wrong with the dress if they "never saw this in 33 years". They are in the bridal industry and should have understood how it ruined my day rather than paint myself and my mother as a liar when I had pictures to prove this. I would STAY AWAY from this salon at all costs-there are plenty of other salons that are in the area and also stay away from the Sincerity label. I hope my review saves at least one person from going through what I did. read more

Horrible place. I ordered my dress 9 months before my wedding. What was suppose to be pleasant experience turned out to be a nightmare. I paid extra money to have dress customized (some changes to the length of the dress). Dress came 6 months later in a size smaller than it was suppose to and without requested length adjustment. When I came for the fitting rude and unprofessional assistants told me that I gained weight, although the dress was literally wrong size! When I requested to speak to the manager it took two weeks for the manager to finally get back to me. When I came to meet the manager they still denied their fault and she was rude enough to ask me if I'm taking any medication that would cause me to gain weight, first of all I do not and second of all I do not see how it is even her business and how dare she asked me such a personal question. Another week passed by she informed that designer admitted their fault and they will adjust the length of the dress. She then told me not to get hill more then 3 inches or the dress will be short. After a month when the dress arrived I came over the place just to found out that they delivered back not my dress!!! the dress was two sizes bigger!!!! and I had to pay extra money for alterations!! Also, I bought 5 inches heal instead of 3 and guess what the dress was still long!!! Didn't offer me no discount, nothing. Stay away from this place, they are unprofessional, rude and don't stand behind their products. Also, when I came to pay final amount for the dress manager refused taking my credit card and demanded cash, at that point I was so exhausted from their bs that I didn't want to call BBB and other agencies, although now when I think of it. I should of done. Very disappointed. I don't know how can they stay in business. Don't fall for the beauty of the store, unless you want to deal with their rudeness, once they get paid, they don't care about you as a customer anymore. read more

I went into Sposabella a few weeks ago to look at bridesmaid dresses for my wedding with my mother and a friend who is in my wedding party. I was so excited to begin this process and the experience was ruined. We unfortunately wrote the wrong date for our appointment off by one day, but luckily there was no one else in the store that evening. The women were furious we were there the wrong night which I am sure ignited their distaste for me. There were 2 women working that evening and neither helped us. They stated, "the dresses are over there" and pointed a general direction. We had to pull our own dresses and pin ourselves into all dresses that we tried on (as they only have one size per dress which is fine). The woman were extremely unhelpful and had an overall arrogance about them. Once I found 2 dresses I loved they were still barely willing to assist. They said the manager is out until after the New Year and they did not know pricing or the discount until her return. How is this possibly to have people running a store and have little to no information on the products and prices on merchandise? Nevertheless, they lost a customer and I purchased the EXACT dresses at another boutique at a fraction of the cost with AMAZING customer service. I would recommend them hiring better help as the women currently employed are giving this store a bad vibe and experience to new brides or anyone on the bridal circuit. As mother of the groom, I was very disappointed in the customer service. On Dec. 1st I picked out a gown that I fell in love with for a wedding on August 4th. Karen, my saleslady said it would be in 4-5 months, plenty of time before our wedding. The gown finally came in on June 20th, over 6 and a half months later, too small! She ordered a size 4 when I stated I never wore a size 4 in my life. She said my measurements on Dec. 1st went with size 4. At that time, I wish I would have asked her to re-measure me, but instead I trusted her judgement. The day before the fitting on June 23rd, I was told to bring in $250. cash in case alterations were needed. It would have to be payed up front. On June 23rd, I was nearly in tears, since the gown was too tight to put on. The seamstress had to take out seams, lift up and close the top, remove the train and hem 3 layers. Afterwards, she re-measured me and my size was bigger than December 1st. I did not gain any weight since Dec. and maybe lost a few pounds, in anticipation of getting this beautiful gown. The saleslady Karen measured me wrong! I felt scammed, considering I now had to pay half the cost for the gown, for alterations. This Saturday, August 4th is my son's wedding. I will be taking an "alternate" dress, in case I rip the seams when dancing in this gown. I have been dieting and exercising more than anyone I know, so I can be comfortable in my beautiful Montage Mon Cheri gown. Maybe if it came in sooner, as I was told, perhaps it could have been sent back for a larger size. I am very disappointed and will not return to this store. read more

Two weeks prior to my wedding, I went for what should have been my final fitting and the dress didn't fit. Not one of the alterations that I requested were done and the staff would accept no responsibility. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!! I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!!!! The owner/manager Roberta never gets back to customers and is never there to handle the problems. Pushes them off on her workers who don't know what there doing. The seamstress Marion or Mary Anne is so ignorant and rude to everyone. Pretty much tells you this is how she's doing it and won't do it the way you want it done. You pay good money and deserve to have it done correctly and be treated with respect. Which you get none of at this place. We were there to order bridesmaid dresses and the brides gown. Pat tried to measure for the bridesmaid dresses and had no idea how to do it. So we had Roberta do it and we still had some dresses come in wrong. They over charge for alterations and take advantage of there customers. You pay hundreds of dollars for alterations, come in for a 2nd fitting and they tell you now you have to pay a couple hundred more because they have to make some more adjustments. Thats just crap!!! They are not completely honest with there charges and are VERY unorganized!! Roberta's husband also works there and has no idea what he's doing. Absolutely amazing! I helped my sister in-law pick out her dress, they were extremely welcoming and helpful! They listened to my sister in-law's every detail down to the thread!!!! The dress turned out to be outstanding. Talk about your "dream dress". I give 5 stars. I'm going to get my wedding dress from here when my day comes too! read more

really did not even want to give this boutique 1 star, however it would not let me review if I did not. My future Sister in law had an absolutely horrible time with her wedding dress here, truly that made me more sad than anything, I am just a bridesmaid but this is her wedding day, the day she dreamed about since she was little and they did a horrible job for her. As a bridesmaid I picked the dress I like, and unfortunately they did not have a size in store for me to try on that would fit( I am very top heavy). I let them measure me and I trusted what they were saying, I wanted to order a size down from what they were telling me I needed, the lady totally argued with me about it and said I would be responsible if the dress did not fit( no kidding really!!!) even though I said I would take responsibility, she made me feel like an idiot for even asking, so I relented and took the larger size. Needless to say trying to order was a practice in patients. They could not find my card, the brides card, nothing, they almost tried to charge me extra to rush the dress when the wedding was 4 months away. They never contacted me when my dress came in, they said it is their policy to contact the bride, but they did not contact her either, she had to keep calling to check up on the dresses. So the dress was here, I went for a fitting and the dress needed to be altered, BIG SUPRISE!!!, had they actually ordered my size they would not have been able to charge for alterations. Mind you I am not a seamstress and do not know what needs to be done to make the dress look the way it should, she did her nips and tuck and said come back in 9 days. Went back 10/28 to pick the dress up, tried it on, was not overly happy with the way the alterations turned out, but again, I am not the expert, I just thought OK so this is how it is supposed to look. Also had a pretty crappy day and just wanted to get home. When I tried it on the next day for my husband, he was like, look at this( huge gap on my right side...thought my boob would fall out and it just looked too long in the front and very frumpy). I was so upset, I have a seamstress that I go to for most of my regular alterations( I really should have just taken the dress there from the start, but I trusted the bridal shop to actually know what to do(BIG MISTAKE!!!!). Not only did I need to pay the bridal shop $50 for the alterations that looked like crap, I am paying my lady another $60 to make the dress right, with her tucks and taking up the strap it actually made me look like I lost 20 lbs in 2 seconds and the dress looks like it was originally supposed to look, how the bridal shop seamstress did not know to do this is beyond me. This shop is an absolute joke when it comes to bridal shops in the area, please run do not walk away from this store!!!! There are plenty of better bridal shops in the area that will take great care of you and give you the experience you deserve. read more

I only gave a 3 due to the bride having a good experience with her dress and is bridesmaids had an ok one. All 11 bridesmaids dresses were all way too big as if when they looked at the index cards they went a size up on ALL 11 of them. We hate the dresses and for the amount of money they wanted it should have been handled better. I would never recommend them to people I care about. read more

5 Stars. Absolutely as good as it gets! I had the absolute most wonderful experience with Sposabella. I ordered my dress in October, it came in early June. I set an appointment to try it on just after if arrived. Since the last time I was there, they have expanded and now they have 3 times as many dresses as before, with more fitting rooms. My dress was already pulled for me, and an associate was available to help me try it on. I explained that I needed to have my alterations done elsewhere, and they were perfectly fine with that. No pressure whatsoever. They even talked about what alterations I should have done. I had no issues with this store at all. I was able to take my dress home with me, and purchased a cocktail dress for $30 off a sale rack. No pressure sales, and an approachable staff. I will highly recommend this place to all my bride friends. Again, Sposabella should be on every Philly brides list! read more
