We began playing in the rain...no problem...the problem wasn't the course but the personnel. How do you play 18 holes...don't see the "beer cart girl"? Well at the 11th hole I flagged down a Ranger and asked him where they were? ...he radioed and said, , "Gabby who was on a cart would find us, and she was on her way..." Well on the 16th hole I spoke to the same Ranger and said, " Where's the beer cart girl?". He just drove his cart away...Long story short, don't waste a penny on this place. The CC and their staff are not accommodating, I assume it all goes back to extremely poor management. My recommendation is if you have a choice to play somewhere else....play there!!! I'll start off with the good: they were very nice *before* we rented the bikes. We had a…read moremiscommunication and headed up to Ipswich on Memorial Day, but they turned out to be closed (only the Boston location was open). Because of the misunderstanding they offered us a 50% discount for the future, which we were excited to use. We planned another trip up and when I called, Steve advised me to book the reservation and he'd apply the discount afterwards. We rented 2 e-bikes for $200, and had a nice day riding around the north shore. At the time we picked them up, Steve mentioned that he owed us the discount. We dropped them off at the end of the day and everything seemed good. Unfortunately it was never applied I've heard zilch from Steve since then. I've emailed multiple times about it and gotten no response. At this point it's been a month. Presumably since we've paid he just doesn't care? In the end, we had been willing to pay full price the first time around, but it's really disappointing to get a bait-and-switch like this.
