I love a good pork bone soup and I opted for the Spicy Charsu because of the pork bone base. I loved the broth. It was perfection. The noodles were so fresh . The portion size was enormous. I kept eating and more noodles appeared. The Charsu had an amazing flavor to it . Smoky and delicious . My friend is a larger man and even he commented on the portion size saying he would be ok with a smaller size as he was so full. Good portions for your money. We also had the Gyoza and the TakoYaki. The TakoYaki was soft and loaded with the delicious sauce. The Gyoza were enormous. We were both 100% satisfied with our visit and will be back for sure.

The least favorite was the chasu and the egg as chasu did not taste fresh, and I could not taste the char on them at all. The egg was over-cooked and under marinated which was disappointing. While the soup for Lan Zhou noodles are not generally crazy strong in flavour, it should still have the taste of spices. The beef slices were also pretty tame in flavour. They were ok. The main plus about their noodle was the portion; quite big. The noodle had better texture than most store bought noodles, but it did not have the proper floury taste and the limited flavours from the soup was not able to hang onto the noodles.
