The process is very personal so that took some getting used to but I found that to be the most enjoyable about it. You get one hour to decorate your bear and if you're local you have a few days to pick it up once it dries. Our bears were $85 and shipping was $15. The delivery was smooth and my baby made it to me without any issues. I named her Fern :-). I'd definitely recommend this as a fun activity that's not liquor or food focused. Parking was a bit hectic but we were able to find something right outside. The area itself is walkable with lots of shops and places to eat surrounding it also.

They were patient, helpful, made the experience enjoyable and we did not feel rushed at all. We brought in our own food, wine, snacks. We snacked and had wine while doing our project and it was so much fun. I knew I wanted to book again in the near future. I booked for my birthday, and unfortunately it was a different experience this time. We had one leader, and were told the project time had been cut to 2 1/2 hours vs 3, told this when some of the girls were snacking and were encouraged to continue with the project. Well it seems the 30 min made a difference. We felt rushed, and didn't feel like the leader had as much patience with us as the other leaders did on our last visit. My unique project really didn't turn out the way I hoped it would. I was told because it had too much detail. This was fine I wasn't upset about this. I booked more so to have the fun experience we did before with friends. When we would go to grab a snack or glass of wine, we were reminded that we didn't have a lot of time and we needed to do the project and eat later because time was shorter. I don't think anyone ever commented last visit on when we snacked or had a glass of wine once. The leader took some pictures, and did take (some) time to help, however, a few of the participants just felt rushed and didn't feel like the leader has as much patience as last time. Overall I would say for what we paid for each project, some paid $100 and really didn't get what we wanted, and just feeling rushed but we're encouraged to bring food/drink I don't think it was worth what we paid honestly. I think we may choose another activity next time. Potential is definitely there, however, felt like we were kinda rushed out. Literally locked up as we were walking out. Girls felt the experience was totally different this time around unfortunately. We dined next door at Santa Barbara after and took our time. Hopefully feedback helps make the experience better for others.

The owner was super nice and helpful. Her assistant is a high school girl and we weren't too impressed with her. I didn't feel like there was enough help for the amount of people we had. There were about 14 of us and we all had different types of projects. Mine had three different levels of paint and got messed up. The assistant tried to help but she ended up painting on it while it was still wet and made it worse. I was the last one to leave at 9:00 (arrived at 5:00) because the owner was trying to help me fix it. It doesn't look great at all. Maybe they should have had one more person there to assist. I felt abandoned after awhile and left to figure it out by myself. Again, the owner was super sweet and tried to help as much as she could. I wish I had known in advance that my project would take longer and need more work than the others. Maybe that could be added to the website, difficulty level??

I love Michaels. They have pretty much all the basics you could need for your…read morecrafting/framing/wedding/floral arranging desires, and if they don't have something... Hobby Lobby is now right across the street. One thing I particularly enjoy/appreciate is the ability to order stuff online and pick it up curbside. Hobby Lobby doesn't have that. HOWEVER, don't expect quick service. They usually take at least 15 minutes to bring your items out. They'll mark your order as picked up and then 10 minutes later, they actually bring it out to you. I've had to call before to ask about my order. I couldn't just run in because I had a sleeping child in the car. So that's annoying. Also, I would check your order before you drive away because I've used the curbside ordering 3 times and 2 of those times an item was missing... so while I really like that curbside is an option, it's not the BEST option. If you can go inside to shop, do it. You'll find lots of goodies, and basically everything you need. P.S. Don't forget to download the app and use those coupons. You're welcome.
