My son loved it! While we were there, the staff also gave us some great mountain biking recommendations for the area and told us about their summer climbing camp for kids. The instructors were outstanding--patient, encouraging, and incredibly skilled at teaching climbing techniques. Most importantly, I always felt my son was safe and well cared for. On the last day of camp, they even opened the store a little late for us so we could pick up some things before we headed home. They really couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. While not completely paved, the crushed aggregate is easily navigated on my city bike. I went out yesterday after a night of rain and the path was in great shape (surprise!). Folks in the area are very proud of this trail and rightfully so. It's beautiful and fun, a treasure for all ages to enjoy.
