As well, when we got it, it didn't have the air filter cover. The stabilizer link also broke a week in as well. If you ever decide to buy from this dealership, have another mechanic look it over first, because this shouldn't happen. We shouldn't have to get serious work done right away like this. Especially when we got the car this August 2021. And like I said, it clearly wasn't fully inspected if the gas issue was there to begin with. They never told us this before they sold the car. I think something like this should be addressed and fixed before sale on their dime. Never buying from this dealership again.

My visit was tailored to my needs and wants; there was no pressure. Nobody was pushy, and everybody went out of their way to make us feel welcomed. Our sales associate was Ryan Campbell and I will stick with him throughout the years for me and my family and our Subaru needs .The manager came and introduced himself along with the associate that assist you with learning the technology components of your car. I will admit I was at the dealership for quite a bit of time however, there were many laughs and frequent checks if I needed snacks or drinks. The staff here are extremely friendly and knowledgeable about all things Subaru. I love my new Forester !

They took my car in for a headlight replacement, then explained I needed a new assembly and…read moreverbally quoted me a new one on the phone, I asked if I could purchase my own and bring it in. They said I could but said they would check their second-hand supplier. They called back and said they could get me a used one for $117 dollars. I asked them to order that part and we scheduled for a week later. They call me the day before my next appointment to say that they never ordered the part because they didn't know if I wanted it. I say no problem, and we reschedule for another week out. I get my car in the next week and they call me midday to explain that they can't align the headlights because the older headlight assembly is too oxidized, but they have a lens restoring system they trust and could use it then align the headlights. I reply that I'd like them to do it if it can be done today, but if not, that's okay and I'll pick the car up either way. At the end of the day they call to explain that they couldn't get it done, but I could schedule another time for them to finish it. When I arrive to pick up the car they give me an invoice with 2 concerning things: 1) A $350 headlight assembly billed because "that's the one they bought." 2)$110 dollars for a headlight alignment that never happened. I was able to let the shop manager hear the voicemail where they quoted me $117 dollars for the assembly. After that and a 5-10 minute conversation between their mechanic and shop manager, she offered me $140 dollar refund...still $90 more than their original quote for the assembly. They said they would do the alignment free of charge in the future, but left it on the bill for $110. I asked if she felt that they were obligated to the original quote for the assembly. She said no because that's not the one they bought and explained that their guy was "just learning the ropes." Overpriced, under experienced labor and poor communication on pricing. I want to keep my business at a locally-owned shop, but these guys are making it too difficult and too expensive. We were driving on the highway adjacent to the center when a large rock undoubtedly flung from their operating unguarded lawnmower. The rock caused severe damage to my vehicle. When I called to discuss the damage, the owner was extremely rude and essentially wrote me off and hinted that I was fabricating the story. Proceeded to ask me "why isn't there grass on the highway then". I wasn't going to waste my time teaching this scholar basic physics and decided to go talk to a lawyer instead. If I had known that it was going to look so good when we picked it up I might have had a used car sales ad ready to post to reflect the increased value. There are several reasons for an excellent rating. The detail of the work was highly professional, and my wife expressed it best when she looked over the exterior and then as we drove home when she looked closely at the interior. Her statement said at all: "It's obvious that the people at Lafayette Collision take pride in their work." Our experience from start to finish was exceptional, and there was no complaint to be made at any time. In this instance the owner, Nick, always was involved from our first meeting to get the estimate up until we got the keys back and departed. I make it a point to try to get three estimates for any major job that I have to have done. When I got the third estimate, I saw that the others were higher and, in conjunction with talking to the employees, I got the distinct impression that things were being padded. So naturally for the sake of my insurance company and my future rates, I went with LC as the one that gave me the best price and confidence that the job would be done correctly. Another plus is that during the week that Lafayette Collision had the car, we received emails about the status of the work and the expected date of return as was originally promised. The customer service also included a personal response by phone from Nick to an inquiry that I had left on voice mail. I would say that such service is a rarity in this day and age. So for those of you who like a company that knows what it is, I think this information would help you to decide if you're ever having to get car damage repaired. BTW, Nick threw a little freebie in for us with regard to a window chip that we did not expect but greatly appreciated. It's that type of consideration that gets people to return in the future when the service is needed as well as make legitimate referrals.

I received a rental car with the tire pressure and check engine lights on, along with incorrect paperwork. This should have been my first red flag. When I called to report the mistakes, the receptionist dismissed it. After picking up my car, I called to say the backup camera wasn't working. The receptionist told me to stop by for a scan. When I did, I was told Bradley wasn't there and to come back after the weekend. On Monday, they walked out, checked the camera, and said it needed an "update" but everything was working, and I needed to take it to the dealership. They claimed they would go after my insurance if the they were found at fault. That's unacceptable; if they are at fault, they should own up to it. The dealership found that my camera and harness were corroded and needed replacing. I spoke with Gerald, who claimed corrosion was impossible in a sealed box - a clear sign he didn't know what he was talking about. The owner, Brad, eventually called. He admitted Gerald was wrong, and the camera didn't need an update, but now refuses to fix the backup camera, calling it a "known-issue," even though it worked perfectly before I brought my vehicle in. This company has lied multiple times throughout this entire process, from start to finish. They cannot be trusted with your vehicle
