We had been at a larger RV place down the street. Don's beat them hands down, in fact we are still getting SPAM texts and emails from the other place! We also had a chance to watch their service station in action. They were completely full and all the staff was doing a great job. They took their time explaining how to operate our RV, which was very helpful. The follow up communication communications was also very helpful and you can't go wrong with Dons!! Honest people, no hidden fees (we had some truck issues so they had to hold onto the RV an extra 4 days at no charge!) no pressure. Great prices, great service and a great staff!!

I needed the trailer hitch ball adjusted to a lower setting but didn't have a large enough wrench…read more I took the hitch to Independent RV, and they quoted me $200 just to remove two bolts. As a returning customer who's spent thousands with them, I found that excessive--I would have been fine paying around $100. I ended up taking it to a local mechanic, who completed the work in about three minutes and didn't charge me a thing. In appreciation of the excellent customer service, I bought lunch for the whole staff. I had planned to have Independent RV reseal the roof, but after this experience I'll either take it somewhere else or handle it myself.

Finally my co boat owner went in and saw it dismantled and in the elements and in extremely bad shape. If it wasn't dismantled we would have taken it out of there immediately and now we are stuck. Ive been calling for the last week and I cannot even get a returned phone call. At this point I'm going to have my attorney contact them! READ THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS! They are all the same story and I wish I read them before taking my boat in! Updated to 3 stars because we got the boat back and water tested it and it's running good. The owner is a nice guy and I will give him the benefit of that Doubt that he had employees out and it was a crazy boat season but as a business owner myself, not calling customers back is not ok. Just call me back and tell me something... anything.
