    This is my second purchase from Boat Country, took out my brand new North River to the delta today to realized my steering was reversed ( steer left to turn right and steer right to turn left) pulled it right out of the water immediately and noticed the boat was off set so the boat was a little lopsided due to incorrectly installed of the side rail on the trailer, missing nut on one of the u-joint. Man, this got to be my worst boat purchase experience. I would expect more from a high end boat. This is a major safety concern guys! Double check before you tow your boat home.

    So far we've been extremely impressed with Colton and the whole Boat Country shop. We just purchased a new 2022 Master Craft from them and I know I was a pain in the A@& with millions of questions. Colton was never pushy and took great care of us! When we picked up pour boat it went smooth and looked great. There were a few tiny things with the boat he told me to snap some pics and go enjoy the boat and when I bring it in for service he will take care of them. If you are in the market for a new boat I would definitely take a look here! Thanks again Boat Country!!

    I get that these are interesting times, but I have never been the only person in any kind of store only to be ignored. I was seen by at least two people who did not ask me if they could help me or seemed to even go beyond noticing me. Joke is on you! I had cash in hand and was ready to purchase a boat, but my business is going elsewhere.

    Love this place. Got my boat from here and got amazing service. Ask for Colton, he is super knowledgeable and took great care of me. North river boats are incredible and this is really the only place around to get one.

    Just purchased a 2019 North River 2500 OS and couldn't be happier. Brent was able to work with the manufacturer to have my customizations done. I was kept up to date with the build as it was coming along with phone calls and pictures. It was a pretty seamless purchase, stress free and is was very easy to work with the guys at Boat Country. Everyone was knowledgeable and very personable, no pressure sales at all. I walked away impressed and highly recommend buying your next boat here.

I ended up foolishly paying $1,200 more for a fish finder that turned out to be a bait and switch. The Lowrance fish finder, as you can buy it as a consumer, has both sidescan and downscan features. The wrong transducer was installed in the boat. It was an total pain to get this point across to Richard. I sent many emails and photo proof that it was the wrong transducer. Apparently it takes several weeks for C&C to send emails to Ranger and I was told to, "Please be patience [sic]." After bugging Richard multiple times (actually about literally 30 emails), he finally got Ranger to agree to install a new transducer. I naively assumed they would install the sidescan AND downscan unit, which is the common version available to the consumer. But then didn't. I drove for five hours to have them install a transducer than only had downscan. And I didn't figure this out until I was on the water. I would have gladly paid the difference in getting the right unit, but Richard/Ranger again baited and switched. On top of it, he tries to make the customer feel bad for asking him questions and bothering him, after just having spent many thousands of dollars. I went out of my way to deal with a mom-and-pop shop. Thinking that was a naive choice.

    I just bought a boat with California Boat Company and couldn't be more thrilled for my experience…read more I was working with Joe Graham, and I couldn't imagine getting this kind of experience with anyone else. I originally starting talking to Joe over a year ago about getting a boat. Throughout the whole process, he wasn't pushy one bit. When I told him last year I wanted to wait until this year to buy a boat, he completely understood and was very patient. When we felt it was time to revisit this conversation with Joe this year, he worked with us on every detail of the boat to make sure we got exactly what we wanted, while staying within budget. He gave us his honest opinion on certain features we may not need based on the kind of boating we were doing. When we finally got everything finalized, the timeframe he gave us was very reasonable on when we should expect the boat, but it came in a lot sooner which was super exciting. When we went to go see it, Joe had the boat pulled up waiting for us. We went inside and met Tim who was great, and signed all paperwork. Now the delivery of the boat was where he really stood out. Joe drove 2.5 hours to our lake to make sure everything was perfect for us on the boat. To get to our dock, it is super narrow and shallow along with covered with hanging tree branches. Joe was climbing the trees cutting down branches while wearing nice clothes to make it possible for us to get our boat through. While we had accepted a long time ago it wasn't going to be possible getting our boat to our dock due to the narrowness and shallow water, Joe made it possible and showed me exactly how to maneuver the boat in and out. Aside from this, he showed me every single thing about the boat itself, along with going over every single thing we will be doing with it such as launching it, docking, and loading onto the trailer. Truly a 5-star service all around. We are looking forward for a great summer with this boat. If you are looking for a boat, I can assure you that your experience here will be top notch.

    Instead of First Class Yacht Sales they should be called "Worst Class Yacht Sales"!…read more Found a boat online that we were interested in that was published both on their site as well a boattrader.com. We saw that they opened at 8AM on Saturday so called a little after 7 and left a message about our interest in the boat, by 8:30 we hadn't heard anything and called multiple times to all the numbers listed on their website. After not hearing back we decided to make the 2 hour drive out to the shop since we were serious buyers. Had cash in hand and everything. After viewing their website we thought it was like any other boat shop, instead it ended up being a shack at the dock. We called several times before arriving and not a single call back. After arriving we kept calling still no answer. Finally left, after 20 minutes back on the road the owner calls, we state how unhappy we were to drive all that way and not a single person was there nor did they answer any calls, his excuse was that they don't open until noon. When I pointed out that their website posts 8am and the sign on the door stated 8am he questioned me like he didn't even know what time they opened. How do you own a company, publish your hours and not even know what time you're open? I just hung up on him. A few minutes later his son calls, again stating they don't open until noon, then has the nerve to say we should call first. Well buddy, we did. Both to the landline and the two cell numbers posted on their site! We ask about the boat we saw advertised and he tells us then that it had been sold over a week and a half ago. What kind of business are they running? Post hours they don't know about, won't answer any of their four numbers listed, then leaves a boat sold on not just their site but another site as well? So not professional!!
