Customer Service is terrible with the service manager Marcel. Our boat was in this shop for 2 weeks for a service that is supposed to take 3 hours and then we have to deal with this rude service manager. Zero communication for two weeks. No updates, nothing. We got a price of $980 and even signed the form when we dropped off the boat. then after several calls. we finally get in and boat country turns around and says "$1150 or I take off the parts!" . Yes, the service manager said that. This service manager made a mistake and instead of owning up and fixing the issue, he threaten to take off all the parts. We are never coming here again. Service Manager Marcel gives crap service!! Rudest manager I have ever come across in my life. You make a mistake, own up to it like a man!! Not a wuss who makes threats to remove parts. read more

Came here twice for maintenance service. Each time the person confirmed that my "Boat was ready". Both times I came in I found that my repairs were not complete. Issues not solved, panels not secured, trim panels still laying around. It is apparent to me that there is no maintenance supervision there. After a technician finishes the work, a supervisor should quality check his work before releasing it to the customer. Funny thing, talked to a friend who said they signed off his oil change but didn't do it. read more

I purchased a boat from Boat Country in late 2024. I was reasonably happy with the experience, but I've since been trying to work with them to add a full enclosure top. After multiple emails over 2 weeks, they finally sent me a quote for the wrong item. When I asked about that, crickets. So, I escalated to the owner. He never got back to me. I do not recommend this dealer. read more

Bought two new Boats from Boat Country My salesman was Mike Weaver Great guy, no pressure to buy and set me up with exactly what I wanted and needed As they were new boats and like every new boat there are going to be things that need fine tuning. Working with Mike he was able to get the boat in to service and get things taken care of in a timely manner. Sadly I had to move to the East Coast and wa unable to take my last boat. In today's market where boat sales are slow Mike was my listing broker and the Boat Country Team sold my boat long before I even left the state. So whether you are buying or selling Boat Country is the absolute best in my book Another aspect in the industry there are a lot of shady sales people out there that are borderline if not downright unethical. When it comes to ethics I found Boat Country Staff to be upfront, honest, and transparent. Excellent Service and Commitment to their Clients read more

This is my second purchase from Boat Country, took out my brand new North River to the delta today to realized my steering was reversed ( steer left to turn right and steer right to turn left) pulled it right out of the water immediately and noticed the boat was off set so the boat was a little lopsided due to incorrectly installed of the side rail on the trailer, missing nut on one of the u-joint. Man, this got to be my worst boat purchase experience. I would expect more from a high end boat. This is a major safety concern guys! Double check before you tow your boat home. read more

So far we've been extremely impressed with Colton and the whole Boat Country shop. We just purchased a new 2022 Master Craft from them and I know I was a pain in the A@& with millions of questions. Colton was never pushy and took great care of us! When we picked up pour boat it went smooth and looked great. There were a few tiny things with the boat he told me to snap some pics and go enjoy the boat and when I bring it in for service he will take care of them. If you are in the market for a new boat I would definitely take a look here! Thanks again Boat Country!! read more

I get that these are interesting times, but I have never been the only person in any kind of store only to be ignored. I was seen by at least two people who did not ask me if they could help me or seemed to even go beyond noticing me. Joke is on you! I had cash in hand and was ready to purchase a boat, but my business is going elsewhere. read more

Purchased a Hewescraft Ocean Pro, they hightly recommended some equipment (autopilot) which never worked properly. I tried to work with them for 2 years to get fixed and they never could. Now, the sales manager, BRENT, will not return my calls (even though I have left several messages with all his sales associates and have stopped by and he is never in). Got great service when the purchase was being completed but be weary if you have any issues after that. read more

what a wonderful experience! I went in with my son because we had kind of out grown our boat. we were looking at the boats and Jarrod came out to help us. I was tire kicking, but he spent a couple hours with us anyways with no pressure. in the next couple weeks I got a little more serious, but they had sold the boat I was looking at. I found a similar boat out of state but wanted to go talk to boat country one more time since they spent so much time with us. I was straight forward with Jarrod and he said let me see what I can do. he came back with a better boat at a better price. I have bought a lot of stuff over over a lot of years yet I'm sitting here amazed how my boat purchase went with Boat Country read more

This place cannot figure out simple warranty work on a Mojo terrible service they seem not to care even after you have given them $100,000s

BE CAREFUL BEFORE STEPPING IN TO THIS DEALERSHIP!!! I live in Los Angeles and saw online a brand new boat that I like at this dealership. I called the dealer and spoke with Colton the sales manager and we agreed on a price and closed the deal. I asked Colton to make sure that everything in the boat is good and ready to go (even though it's a brand new boat) because I live so far and wanted to make sure it's all good before I'm coming to pick it up. I was very excited and a few days after I drove over 4 hours to go and pick up my new boat. When I got to the dealership I see that the boat wasn't ready as the guys still putting things together and also found some issues with the gel coat. Colton assured me that this is not a big deal and can be easily repaired during off season. After I start using the boat every time I would find another missing parts on the boat, endless mechanical issues, parts of the boat not holding up and more and more issues with the gel coat. I was hoping that Colton and boat country marine will help me fight the manufacture to find a solution for my boat so I can use it and enjoy it. Unfortunately after they received their money and closed the deal it was impossible to get any help from them, didn't didn't even try to listen and advise on my issues with the boat. I have to deal directly with MasterCraft which are not any better then this guys. I would never go back to this dealership and during my bad experience with this guys, found couple other dealerships that was so amazing and helpful even though I didn't buy the boat from them. Colton and boat country marine you need to be ashamed of yourself. This is not how you do business. Ron Levi. read more

We purchased a new Supra last year and Colton was the best!! Super helpful with all the million questions we had and never pushy. We were able to build the boat exactly how we wanted and we LOVE it. Just took it in for the first service and the service dept was very helpful. I definitely recommend Boat Country if you need a new boat! read more

I have been calling and trying to get a service for my boat since February of 2020, with no response. I have left multiple voice messages in the service department and not one call back. They were rumored to open a second location in Pittsburg Ca. Spoke to a few different people that answered the phone who had no information on that. I finally had to bite the bullet and call Larsen Marine in Stockton. The guy at Larson told me if I had my boat there by 9 AM I will be serviced and ready to go by the end of the day. I would not recommend for country for anything. They don't even have called courtesy to return calls. I don't understand how this place can even stay in business. read more

Bought a new boat. They were just ok I guess all around. Took a month to get basic electronics install package. Metal shaving left all over my boat. Switches installed in a wavy line. Pickup day issues with the boat. They did Jump into action to fix major issue when I came to pickup .... with me waiting 2* hours causing me to be late heading out of town. No emergency package on the boat or life preservers. I don't know what to say so I'm just being up front with the negatives. I mean if I could buy my next boat somewhere else I probably will ‍. read more

Just purchased a 2019 North River 2500 OS and couldn't be happier. Brent was able to work with the manufacturer to have my customizations done. I was kept up to date with the build as it was coming along with phone calls and pictures. It was a pretty seamless purchase, stress free and is was very easy to work with the guys at Boat Country. Everyone was knowledgeable and very personable, no pressure sales at all. I walked away impressed and highly recommend buying your next boat here. read more

I decided to stay in state with my north river boat purchase. I did not let it on but boat country was cheaper then other big aluminum boat dealers up north so it was more than worth it to keep purchase in ca. I was able to purchase a large boat far ahead of my goals as far as age and time which created more room in boat for another kid. Colton and Brent made everything right start to finish. These men are class acts that are boat enthusiasts as well. At the end when I picked up my family's boat I was more than happy and the stress was gone as soon as I saw it. This dealership sells a lot of boats. It's the cleanest and most organized dealership I have ever been to. I had no idea it was as big as it is. These employees know their product and will take care of you. The parts and service dept are helpful and knowledgeable. All installs look clean and professional. The boat and installs have been put to the test by the wrecking crew. The finish and usability of electronics is flawless. There is no reason to have those items installed anywhere else. read more

Service sucks. Been asking for help for months!!! No response! Purchased a 2020 Supra, for over 100k cash...

We just bought our first boat from Boat Country a 2019 North River. I don't normally bother with writing anything on Yelp but I wanted to take the time to actually put something on here. Colton Smith was the sales team member helping us through the process and he was AMAZING. Colton spent time on our first visit to boat country to walk us through all the types of North River boats and really nail down what it was we were looking for (because we weren't really sure!). He also went through and explained and got us pictures or showed us on other boats (at the store) all the options that we could do with our North River boat. He even talked to North River so that I could get the North River Logo sticker I liked the best on the boat (which I wasn't sure if that was going to be possible). He kept in touch with us during the build process, sending us weekly email updates and photos from the factory. When it came time to pick up our boat he even pulled some strings and worked extra hours with some of his co-workers to get the boat ready for pick up just before a big holiday weekend. Since we've had the boat for a while, he has also kept in touch. Assisted with scheduling our first routine maintenance and on his off time helped us straighten out the settings on our GSP system. I loved my experience here, all of the staff I had interactions with were amazing. Colton was the best! I would highly recommend making a boat purchase here if you are considering it. -ALICE M. read more

Thanks for moving to Ripon. Just bought my Moomba Mojo Pro after a friend with a Moomba recommended these guys. Brent, Colton, Landon, all good guys, trustworthy, and will steer you right. They know their boats and their competition. Everyone I know that has dealt with them has good comments, and all continue to buy from Boat Country. Sales was patient while I took nearly 3 weeks to review all other brands/dealers, their finance company made things easier than you can imagine, and the demo ride put the nail in the coffin for my nearly $100k purchase. Post sales, the prep and delivery was also super easy and informational. Colton went through every detail of the boat, servicing, storing, trailering, you name it. Whether this is your first or fifth boat, this is the place. read more

Review is definitely over due but Brent in sales was fabulous! He took me on a tour of a few different boats my boyfriend and I are interested in and explained what each boat had and the benefits to each specific model. The salesman I spoke with had either sold his quota, had already made enough for the month, or was on his It is very discouraging because I didn't just call on a whim. I contacted Boat Country about a 1999 Pro-line 202 boat they had listed on Craigslist. Living an hour and a half away I wanted to find out the true condition of the boat, and if anything major had ever been fixed. The guy on the phone told me the boat was in excellent condition and and I should not be disappointed. I agreed to drive down the next day on Saturday to look at the boat and take it for a trial run. When I arrived and looked at the boat I could not believe what I saw. The seat cushions were held together with duck tape the drivers seat was held together with a pair of vise grip pliers, and all the plastic access covers were sun rotted. With all the good reviews for this dealer I dont understand why they did not fix this issues before showing the boat, and detail it. read more

Boat Country is the absolute Best boat dealer in Northern California! Let me start by saying that I am EXTREMELY picky about my boat...perhaps some may say I am even crazy over it... But I dont care, becaue it brings me and my family alot of enjoyment and memories! Over the years I have had 9 different boats, and have dealt with boating industry people from San Jose to Sacramento... and Boat Counrty is by far the most knowlegable dealer out there (and still there!) I live in the Bay Area, and there are several Malibu boat dealers much closer to me, than driving the 94 miles (one way) to Escalon. But I will drive along way to see my family, and thats how I feel every time I go and see Brent, Stan , Greg, Ryan and the rest of the guys there. Their attention to detail, and making sure that everything is perfect with my boat, is why I have bought (2) Malibus from them, reccomend them to all my friends and family(who have also bought new Malibus from them) and ALWAYS take my boat to them for service, stereo, trailer, graphics, or any other boat related gear! Do yourself a favor, and if you are in the market for a boat, or anything for your boat, check them out! read more

Was looking for an small outboard motor online and they Had one advertised on craigslist. Recently I had purchased a almost new larger motor that was too large for my boat. So I gave them a call and ask them if they would be interested in some sort of trade and cash deal. Normally a shop is not too interested in doing a deal like that and you normally would not get treated as well . But I talk to Brent and made the trip down from Placerville California which is a pretty good drive he said he wanted to look at my engine and would do a deal if the engine is what i said it was .When I got there I dealt with Colton I'm assuming his sales manager and the guy was friendly unloaded my engine treated me very well. Also this is probably one of the nicest boat shops I've ever been to. I don't know how many boat places everybody has dealt with but they're usually not the nicest places to deal with unless you're buying a new boat they always are too busy and don't act like they have time for you and if you were trying to sell something to them they probably wouldn't spend any time with you. Anyway they tested my engine showed me that there's ran good and Brent The owner did just like he said over the phone paid me Difference like he said and they loaded mine up .it's probably one of the best deals I've had in a long time. For anybody that needs parts or even a new boat this place is nice and clean that I have seen .I didn't feel like I had to mask up there. Well organized and everybody was pleasant to deal with even in rough times like this thanks guys. I would give them 6 stars read more
