Bike almost killed my husband three times. We purchased a 2018 heritage classic. Rode off lot and not even a two days later the bike shut off on my husband while riding. We had it towed to HD because this was our closest bike mechanic for being 2 hours away from their mechanic. HD told us the whole engine needed to be replaced & the ACR solenoid. We ended up taking the bike back to Nationwide they kept the bike for 32 days... while we made payments on the bike and had already paid $700 to HD for there services. I appreciate that nationwide took a look at the bike (as they should for a bike that only last a couple days off their lot) and was able to fix the engine problem, however they completely disregarded the ACR problem that my husband kept pointing out. We received the bike back after a OVER month later, bike seemed to be fine. However this brings us to yesterday, my husband took the bike out for a nice long ride and the ACR EXPLODED on him mid ride on the freeway! They never replaced the corroded piece even when it was brought to their attention. We reached out to them to take the bike back (as this bike is not SAFE) and we will take our $2000 dollar down payment loss. BOTTOM LINE IS THIS BIKE IS NOT SAFE AND SHOULD HAVE NEVER BEEN SOLD. They have decided not to help us out anymore but again my point is this bike is a lemon and should have never been on their lot. Whoever there mechanic is either doesn't take their job seriously based off of other reviews I've seen saying people had the same problems with the bikes having underlining issues or they simple buy and sell bikes that aren't safe. Unfortunately we trusted this company and are paying now for a broken down bike, they bought a lemon (not saying all their bikes could be bad) but now we are stuck with this lemon and they aren't willing to do the right thing a business should do and take it back. read more

April 2003 I purchased a 2016 road glide. I wrote this motorcycle approximately 800 miles the crank bearings failed, upon disassemble of the engine. It was obvious this vehicles been run out of oil. I called them for support and they said they would give me only 200 credit back, Currently 10-2023 l am $9400.00 into parts alone. This past November, I sold my prior motorcycle (2020 HD RGS), and I had been missing riding ever since. Started looking, but I didn't want to break the bank. Started with the local Harley-Davidson dealerships (Yuba City, Rocklin, Sac, etc.). Then I went to the Sacramento area motorsport superstores. I can confirm that Nationwide Fleet is the only place to shop. Period. This is my seventh motorcycle purchased over the years, and this has been my best purchase experience - bar none. Why? First off - zero pressure sales team! (Javier, keep up the good work). The bikes here are super clean, well taken care of, present impeccably well, and are priced just right. Amazing deals here! I was given more than ample time to look over the bike I liked (photos attached), hear her purr, and take photos & videos. I dropped off a deposit to reserve her, then came back a few days for pickup. I was in, out, and on the road in no time. It was clear, that as soon as I walked into the building I wish I had found Nationwide-Fleet sooner. If you're reading this review, don't waste your time elsewhere. My experience with this place was great. I was one day away from paying $9K at oakland HD dealership for a pre-owned 2016 Roadster. Then I saw this place selling the same bike for $7,500. Too good to be true I thought; called up the dealership asked what's the deal. They didn't explain over the phone, but I did my homework (like normal people do with anything too good to be true) and found out their entire inventory is made up of repo/auctioned bikes. They buy them super cheap and price them to sell. The rub, however, is you can't test ride the bike. You can fire them up, rev the engine, even have an independent mechanic come and inspect them, but you can't ride down the street. Of course, they have ridden them down the street and can verify they run and drive properly, but since most of their sales are done on ebay (check out eBay reviews, all positive, if I recall correctly), they aren't staffed to take people out on test rides. Anyway, they advertise a local independent motorcycle shop that will have a cool old guy mechanic come and do an inspection. I took advantage of this (~$120) and the mechanic came out within an hour. He gave the bike a good inspection and pointed out two issues: 1) brake light wasn't working with hand break, and 2) front tire needed replacing. Nationwide fixed the light and replaced the tire. I asked if there was any wiggle room on price. They checked their books and offered to sell for $6,900. I was so pleased I didn't even counter. I paid $150 for them to deliver the bike to me in San Francisco. A couple weeks later I got my plates and registration. Great experience. read more

Be careful of the No Reserve Auctions. I was winning an auction. the price was under asking price and at the last min two clearly bogus bids were placed so that they didnt have to sell it so cheap, i called them to tell them i was the high bidder before the scam move and that i was intersted in buying it still. They looked at my highest bid and they told me they couldnt sell the bike that cheap (no reserve, which means whatever it goes for) )and that they were going to run it again on Ebay when they did i tried to bid on it again and they had Blocked me from bidding???? Buyer Beware. Seller's disclosures are not accurate. Unfortunately, I did a casual inspection and trusted the dealer's disclosure. When I got the trailer home I found extensive cigarette and tar damage. See pics below. Called the dealer and their response was all sales are final. Offered to pay a significant restocking fee and the response was all sales are final. After more discussions dealer offered if I would bring it back in a couple weeks (8 hour round trip) that they would clean it further. Seller claims buyer remorse. Yes, as a non-smoker, we would not have bought the trailer if this was disclosed as it should have been. Take the time to read the 1 star reviews on Google and there is a consistent pattern. They issued me a conditional purchase where if I found any major problems within the first hour I could return it. They also said they'd refund money if the DMV fees were less than estimated. 3 weeks later, they sent me a big refund check along with the license plate. Super pleased all around. read more

If you use the web to purchase don't do it here. They will use lawyer talk so they are covered when the leave out details and damage that you are able to see with walk around but not in pics. They will down play damage as gauges have crack glass when the gauges don't work. They also will purposely not list all the damage because they give you the option to pay 3rd party for inspection who are their friends. I bought my first Harley early last year. The team was very helpful with my purchase, Slowly started riding in my neighborhood and it took me six months to started going on longer rides. On couple hot days I noticed that my bike was dragging but not sure what the problem was. After repeated trips to stealership, I changed all fluids and did a complete service. On 2 occasions the bike came to complete stop in less than 5 seconds and it was hard to move. Then I towed the bike back again and they found some idiot has drilled in a screw in the brake arm to trigger brake lights and it was actually activating my brake. I could have easily got killed if I did not have previous riding experience. I am leaving this review not to blame Nationwide but to warn future buyers to be beware of when they are buying an AS-IS sold bike. That being said I will buy my next bike from Nationwide. It has been twice now that I have tried to make a purchase here. First time they agreed on a price with me and said they could hold it until the next day so I could fill out paperwork. When I had returned the next day they had sold it to someone else that morning. This time it has been a month trying to purchase a car. We agreed on a price but they need to smog it, the do not communicate at all and act like I am crazy for calling to check status. The story on what is going on has changed 3 times now.
