I heard that this coffee shop was under new ownership and happened to be in the area over the weekend, so figured why not! The aesthetic of the shop is great, such a unique addition to the community. They have a little gift shop off to the left when you first walk in in with a variety of gifts and handmade items, as well as loose leaf tea and canned local brews. Behind the coffee shop, there is a boutique shop in the detached garage filled with beautiful home decor, handmade products, and clothing. Their coffee menu is pretty extensive, they have a HUGE list of flavors to choose from. The baristas behind the counter were really friendly and patient while we decided what to order. I went with their Highlander cold brew : vanilla, caramel, and buttered rum with cold foam. My companion tried their featured flavor Peaches & Cream in an iced latte. We snagged one of their banana cream muffins, it looked so good sitting there in the case! The drinks were very good, I really enjoyed the buttered rum flavor in mine. The muffin had a nice crumb and the banana flavor was there, the cream in the middle was a little thick and flavorless for my tastes. Next time we visit I am going to try one of their sandwiches, they sounded amazing. There is plenty of outdoor seating, both on the front porch and out around the back. The exterior of the shop could maybe use a touch up, but again that could just be part of the aesthetic. The house would really make an impact painted all black. This coffee shop with its updates is a great addition to the small town community and I would love to go back again soon to try more of their flavors! read more

Huge fan of this place. It recently changed hands and one of the biggest changes is that the owner roasts his own coffee so your getting a flavor unique to this place. Breakfast sandwiches are delic and the new lunch subs are amazing! Add the hot peppers!! You won't regret stopping in. Also, in the summer look for Thursday night food trucks. read more

Wow...what a delightful treat in every respect possible! The most delicious breakfast sandwich I've had in years (I had 2, that's how good they are!!), strong, perfectly made coffee drink (large Breve with an extra shot for me), warm and inviting staff and a cozy setting in a cold and wet day! Good place to get coffee or a bistro-style lunch in a small town if you're ever in Central Wright County. We had soup and sandwiches that were all tasty and fresh. This place is the real deal. Their espresso drinks are clearly explained in a picture above the coffee bar. Their breakfast and lunch menus are simple but unique. They feature jalepeno jam and cream cheese as well as fresh tomatoes and multiple bread and meat choices for sandwiches. Did I mention their tea selection? It is very unique and varied. I'm excited to come back often to try everything. Also, the space is very intimate but private, as well. It is an old house with HANDICAP ACCESS to the main floor and outdoor seating. I was in Maple Lake visiting family, and this place was highly recommended. So, I decided to stop in & give it a try. It definitely exceeded my expectations. I fell in love with the decor, and the fact that it was created from an old home. Their fall pumpkin spice latte was like none I've had before. I can't say this is the BEST coffee house I've been to, but, for a small town like Maple Lake, they came real close to a cool coffee house. It's a little crowded inside, and I can't say the staff is SUPER nice, I'm from the BAY and totally felt like an outsider, it was pretty obvious. Overall I'd say get some nicer peeps working that coffee and add some more things to the menu yo! read more
