The prices are fair and they offer your typical bar appetizers and meals. There's always seating to find, sometimes it might get busy on the weekends but it's still manageable. After a couple minutes wondering if we should have waited to be seated, Evan came and gave us 4 menus, regular, beer, happy hour and pizza. He explained some stuff to us and offered his favorite beer recommendation. THE MUSIC WAS ON POINT! The vibe was good and people were enjoying themselves for sure. Ok so on to the food. Reading these reviews had me thinking gourmet bar food, as one person said it was astronomical! Well.... not so much. We did order off the happy hour menu and I'm hoping this A+ chef wasn't in the kitchen yet because The homemade potato chips were nasty. They tasted like old oil and smelled like wet dog. I know that sounds severe, but we didn't send them back and I did eat a couple hoping they would get better. The chicken sliders were again mid and the onion rings were likely fried in the same oil. $70 for 3 beers, 2 sliders and onion rings during happy hour is RIDICULOUS! Wishing best to Flights, cause some things were really good, just not the food or the jacked prices.

A friend of mine is a Cerritos local, and this was our second visit. First and foremost, the staff was amazing. The gentleman working the front door was incredibly polite and welcomed us with a smile, even wishing us a great time as we walked in. The two bartenders were outstanding. Unfortunately, I didn't catch both of their names, but their level of customer service was exceptional. They were friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome throughout the night. For food, we ordered the lumpia and the pepperoni flatbread pizza. Both were absolutely delicious, and I highly recommend trying them. We also enjoyed a couple of ice-cold beers. I ordered a glass of water as well, and my water was refilled almost immediately every time it was empty--a small detail that really stood out. The DJ kept the atmosphere fun and lively, and we were able to catch the MMA fights on their multiple flat-screen TVs, which made the experience even better. My buddy Jason says this is the best dive bar in Cerritos. After this visit, I'd have to agree. In fact, the customer service we received here was better than what I've experienced at many upscale, "bougie" establishments. Outstanding food, excellent drinks, incredible service, and a great atmosphere. Job well done, Shipmates! I'll definitely be back.

The staff did an excellent job throughout the event--friendly, attentive, and impressively fast despite the crowd. It was nice that this wasn't strictly an adults-only environment, as we were able to bring our child along and still enjoy the experience. Jorge came outside multiple times, clearly saw how many people were waiting, and even recorded the crowd on his phone three different times for social media. Knowing the capacity of the restaurant, he could have easily informed everyone that the remaining people in line would likely not get in. Instead, we waited over three hours with no communication. While we were waiting, I repeatedly watched people call Jorge. He would come outside, greet them, and bring them straight inside. I personally saw this happen at least six different times. When it was finally our turn to speak with the host, we were told there were no seats left, that we would have to stand, and that we wouldn't even be able to order food. I confronted Jorge about letting those other groups in ahead of everyone else. His response was that he knew them personally and that they were friends of the restaurant owners. That explanation only made the situation worse. My wife had just finished a 14-hour hospital shift, and we came here hoping to enjoy the game together. Instead, we spent three hours waiting only to be treated as though our time didn't matter. What was most shocking was Jorge's attitude. He literally told me, "They won't do anything to me if you post this. I'm friends with the owner." If that's the mindset of management, it's no surprise customers are treated this way. It truly felt like only friends and family received special treatment while everyone else was left waiting without honesty or respect. I have no issue waiting when things are busy, but I do expect transparency, fairness, and professionalism. Unfortunately, this experience showed none of those qualities.
