Professional landscaping services big job or small.. We just completed our 2nd project with Rob and his team at Splendor Landscaping and we couldn't be happier with the results. After completing a walkway, front patio and driveway apron back in '12, we were ready for the next phase of home improvement, a complete backyard renovation. Given the scope of this project, we researched various companies in the area and after doing so decided, given our prior experience, to use Splendor once again. Looking back, it was the best decision I could've made. Unlike the earlier project, this was a significantly larger project (8-10 weeks) which required not only ripping up an existing patio but removal of an old rotting retaining wall and fencing, tree removal, excavation & removal of truckloads of dirt, re-grading of entire backyard, delivery of 4 tons of boulders, pavers, gravel, wood chips and topsoil, installation of sod, sprinklers, plantings and a new patio. Rob and his team walked us through the entire process from initial planning, drawings (with multiple revisions), permits, excavation, drainage, paver selection, planting selection, sprinklers and lighting. Both he and his team were clean, courteous and professional throughout the entire process. Even with a number of design changes during the planning process and numerous frantic calls around other changes, his team never complained and simply accommodated us. All changes were incorporated beautifully and the costs associated with these late changes were only to cover his basis. At the end of the project we came in both on time and on budget, which was a very pleasant surprise. Rob and the entire Splendor crew are awesome. The first job they did was a tumbled brick patio deck around my new in ground pool in 2008. In addition to the deck which came out looking fantastic he also installed a spillover spa with matching brickwork around the spa. He completed the entire backyard project with a perfect sod job and coordinated with an irrigation company to redo the in ground sprinkler system.He even went above the call of duty and drove my wife and I to a local nursery to pick, choose, deliver and install plants and trees. In just a few weeks he transformed our back yard into an oasis. Since that time we have hired Rob and his Splendor crew to do a new brick front porch patio and walkway, landscape lighting, and a new garden for the front of our house. This year he came up with a plan and a matching design to help us fix a "water in the basement" problem. Each job was done well, professionally and within our budget. What is most impressive is that Rob and his crew will come back and fix any problems that may occur in the future. We were warned by many about installing brick work around a new in ground pool soon after installation of the pool. We were told that there will be settling and that we should wait a year or two before completing the project. Because we wanted the entire backyard beautiful and immediately usable we decided to do everything at one time. Even though the brick work did indeed settle/sink in a few areas several times- Rob came back and fixed the brick work without questions and no charge. We're so happy with our new patio and backyard!! These guys are awesome!! Rob and his entire crew took the time to review every aspect of our landscape project in detail, from start to finish. They listened closely to what we wanted, every step of the way. We made several design changes along the way, and they were always very accommodating. I think the level of collaboration, communication, and trust is what made this project such a huge success. They showed up on time every day and worked very long days. Everyone on the crew knew what to do and how to do it. What's really important is that they worked SAFELY and made sure everything was in order at the end of each work day. And we give them a lot of credit for working so hard during the heat wave in July 2013!! The results speak for themselves. The finished product is absolutely stunning!! I had my backyard completely redone by Splendor landscaping last year. I recently recommended them to my neighbors and they were as impressed with them as I was. Since many people are probably looking for landscape design work right now,I thought I'd write a review. I interviewed several companies and Rob was by far the best designer. He listened to my ideas and designed the perfect backyard retreat! They installed a huge patio plus the area all around the pool,the coping ,designed and installed a waterfall, a bar ,and a sundeck with the water feature in it. They also did the landscaping,blacktop driveway,walkway and irrigation. The work was completed on time and was professionally done. The pavers he recommended were perfect! Rob was on site often and readily available for any questions and his crew was amazing. My sister in law now calls our backyard "The spa." We just call it paradise!! read more

What can we say about Splendor Landscape Design.....they were absolutely wonderful! My husband any I were kind of on the clueless side when it came to figuring out what to do with our backyard. Our kids are pretty much grown and out of the house and we were looking to make a nice transition from kiddie back yard to adult relaxation. Our backyard project consisted of adding a fire pit with seating wall, bbq/bar/grill island, waterfall and spa + completely new plantings throughout. We had the added pleasure of blending in a significant number of existing pavers so that it all flowed together without the look of "an addition". I had Rob come out and give me an estimate on a new patio layout. He was very professional and seemed to know what he was talking about. I ended up choosing him and the work came out amazing. Anytime I had a question he always called me back right away and was very patient with me. Everything went according to plan with out any issues. Splendor landscape designs completely redesigned our backyard and it looks great. There is nobody better!!! Splendor has landscaped my entire backyard and created the most magnificent retaining rock wall and patio. They have also done beautiful pavers and landscaping of my driveway area. After having a few conversations with me, Rob has able to custom design my property exactly as I had envisioned it myself. We just had a pool put in and we wanted to finish off the yard with beautiful landscaping. Rob, the owner came over walked around and measured the area he would be working in. Told us he would follow up by the end of the week which he did with a reasonable price and started the job within another week. I got a bunch of estimates from the bigger companies like Gappsi and John Joseph, but decided to go with Splendor because I liked that I was dealing with the actual owner, not just some guy that didn't care how things came out because he was getting paid by the boss no matter what. Rob graded and seeded a brand new lawn for us. It poured the next day and washed away all the seed leaving a patchy "lawn" filled with crab grass. It wasn't his fault, but he went out of his way to remove the crab grass and re-seed twice, just because he's a solid guy. Pleasure to work with. I'd recommend him! read more
