First, we had initially called them for mosquito control, but we have continued to have mosquitoes. Worse, after more than a year, when we cancelled our service with them, we learned that they had not been spraying for mosquitoes, which is obviously ridiculous since we had initially employed them to do just that. Second, we had them come to address fleas in our yard, and even with follow-ups, they haven't been able to address the issue. Even with using Frontline on our dogs every month, we still have them in the yard during the summer, and we live in central Durham--an urban area. It doesn't seem difficult to address them. Just do the job we pay you for. Third, 'technicians" come out to your house every month, but consistent with the lack of results above, I'm not sure they actually do anything. I just watched our last "technician" Josh merely walk around the house for a few minutes for our $60/mo. treatment. Didn't seem like he did anything. Sixty bucks for a couple-minute lap around the house with no results seems like an exploitative payday. Given that and the lack of results, we have cancelled with Bulwark and will be seeking other/better pest companies. I would not recommend them. The results speak for themselves--nil

My…read morehusband and I were actually thinking of going with another pest control company but a friendly young Sage employee came to my door and offered us a good deal so we went with them. Yes, they do make you sign a contact but you're given all the info up front about cancellation fees, quarterly charges, etc. we're currently renting anyways so the year of applications will work out perfectly! The technician who came to treat/spray was super quick. In some instances, I thought he could have spent a little more time spraying ALL nooks and crannies. I know we have a lot of stuff in our garage right now but I highly doubt he covered much area bc he was in and out so fast. (Due to spiders, I would have liked a little more coverage). And I thought the sales guy said they would spray in the cabinets under the sinks and I don't recall seeing him do that. I have only seen like, one ant and maybe 2 spiders inside since the initial spray. (I f-ing HATE spiders!) I like that the treatment works on all types of insects. I also like that they treat your YARD... where all these critters live. I have also been paranoid about ticks. Like I said, so far so good!
