Purchased a patio set with a matching fire pit November 2025. During installation the tech said he was missing a part for the fire pit and noticed the heat protection glass top was not for this item. My wife immediately contacted the sales manager who said he would correct the problem. It took over a week for the tech to return with the missing part but not with the top glass protector ring. It' is now April 2026 and after numerous calls we have not recovered the glass protector ring. I wish we had read the numerous negative reviews before visiting this establishment. read more

Do Not buy from Splash Pools. My daughter bought an above ground pool last year 3/2020 and has yet to get everything done as of today 7/6/21. They sent the wrong pool wall twice , she still hasn't received her pool cover yet. Her pool liner has two holes on the bottom , the installer last year patched it and promised to change out her liner and pool wall this year 2021 and it still hasn't been done and installer will not return her calls. They offer a good product, but EXTREMELY POOR SERVICE. It seems as though only the 2 managers know whys going on. There is no in-home service, we received numerous answers to questions, and not very happy with this business. Do not listen to Derek or the other associates, at the counter.... We were referred to other pool stores, for parts, by Splash. SMH!! If we could do it all over gain; WE WOULD NOT BUY FROM SPLASH POOLS!!!!! read more

I went in twice and priced a dining set. I was given a quote on the one I wanted, including tax and delivery fee. When I called the next day and ordered it, they charged me $980 more than the quote. They acknowledged the mistake and had the manager call me- all he offered was to waive delivery fee of $75 and knock off $100. I said I didn't want it and they said they cancelled the sale. My VISA bill came in and I was charged $3800! I had to call twice and file a complaint with VISA to finally get the charged reversed. Terrible management and poor salesmanship. In early May I went to Splash pools to look at pools. Ultimately I decided on an above ground pool with the deluxe additional package. The cost with installation was around $7000.Not cheap by any means. In my conversation with Mike the sales guy I specifically asked about what was included with installation. I was repeatedly told "everything". All I would need to do was to pull a water sample and bring it in and they would tell me what chemicals I needed to add. I asked specific questions about the pump, the filter, the cleaner unit and was told over and over that the install guy would set it all up and explain it to me. DID NOT HAPPEN!! It's been 6 weeks and I am still not able to use the pool. I do not know if the pump is working - they never plugged it in and primed and tested. Don't know if the frog filter system is working. The cleaning unit is still in the box. The ladder was never installed. No cover or voucher for cover was given. The pool is so full of algae now I cannot even begin to figure out where to start. Splash pools says it is the install guys issue and the install guy wont return calls. The install guy did not/would not give me a receipt for work done which means there is no warranty on it. The warranty states you have to have the receipt to confirm install date. Splash pools will not help me in any way to get this resolved. read more

My husband and I purchased an above ground pool on April 27. We were told by Micah that day, that the pool would be in within a couple days and the installer would get in touch with us to install the following week. Five days later, we hadn't gotten a call from Splash or installer, so we called. We got the run around and different answers about the pool even being in for another 2 weeks, then the installer finally called to set up installation. We were able to set up for in another 2 weeks, then he didn't show. We got the runaround from Splash and the installers. Micah kept telling us the pool was in, but the installers would say not all pieces were there. It has been a month now so we went to cancel our order. Micah's response was, " I have 2-3 other people who want this pool." He kept blaming the installers and didn't care at all that he was losing customers. read more

Ok, I really had high hopes but that didn't happen. Splash referred their installer for my pool, which was the start of a nightmare. We are in Sept and still ongoing since July. Installer burned my pool with a cig in 2 spots, cut my hose because they were hot, kept things to pool, pieces not installed correctly, 3 wks after install weeds are growing thru the bottom of liner and never delivered the deck I paid just about $2000 to him to deliver. Equipment never hooked up, Finally after many calls, Equipment hooked up and all leaked, it leaked so bad the top ring broke off. The installer avoided all calls and texts. I contacted Splash, first Micha was working with me and he promised he would get straight since they referred, he would hold them accountable. I had put a review on thier page on the insatller. Micah asked that I remove it and promised over and over it would be resolved, therefore I agreed and removed. This went on for two weeks. I called back several times to follow up, then Brain, supposedly the manager got involved. He pretty much scolded me about putting a bad review on thier fb page for the installer over and over and that he just gave me a name, no he recomended and referred me to thier installer. Finally I said we cant get anything resolved like this. He texted and said he would make it right and followed up a couple times about ordering the part and said he would fix it all and to trust him everything would be right. Then NOTHING, followed up and it was like talking to an entirely different person. He again said I just gave you a name and cant help you. I reminded him that he said 'I had his word he would fix it'. His total story changed. He said he could refer someone else to come look at it, NO THANKS. How can you have good intergrity and good cust. service if you totally go back on your word. I just want my pool running, I've invested to much money for it not to be. I'm not one to write negative reviews and I'm usually very patient and diplomatic in my dealings with people and businesses. That being said, Splash Pools in Baton Rouge is the worst company I have ever dealt with. I would suggest digging a hole in your backyard and filling it with water before making any purchase with this company; much less a $24,500 purchase. Here is the story of my summer dealings with Splash Pools. Mid May I went in to order a 14 x 30 in ground pool. After all the add-ons, additional stuff, the price was right at $24,500. I put down 20 percent, was told the installer would contact me in the next few days and that there were 2 pools to be installed in front of mine and I would be looking at around a month. A month seemed very reasonable. A week passes and I hear nothing from the installer. Trying to clarify the time frame, I called the store and asked when he would be in contact. The person on the phone said they had no record of me being there, at one point even suggesting I must have them confused with another store. After talking to the manager, they realized they had misspelled my name. No big deal. I was told, "He should have already contacted you...He is behind. We will contact him." Another week passes. I still hear nothing. Strange considering he is supposed to be installing a pool in 2 weeks and has yet to even lay eyes upon my yard. I call back to the store. "He hasn't contacted you? I'm going to call him right now. He is supposed to be contacting everyone tonight." At this point I really should have recognized the red flags. That night I did receive a call from a woman representing him. She asked me my availability and said she would call back with a time. She called me the next day and we set up to meet on Friday. Friday came and we were hit with a massive storm. She texted and asked if we could reschedule. We agreed to reschedule for the following Thursday. This is now almost a month out but I understand sometimes time frames don't work out. Thursday comes and I receive a text. "As soon as he gets home we will be heading your way." At around 7:30pm I get another text. "We are not doing any more pools. Sorry for the inconvenience". No phone call. No call from the store. No reasoning. Just....we are not doing any more pools. This is the point my diplomacy starts to break. I asked for an explanation and pointed out how unprofessional this was. "I'm sorry...it's too much of a risk. R---y is working hard to get his license, but it's too much of a legal risk." To clarify: HE WAS NOT LICENSED TO DO THE WORK!! I told her it wasn't my concern if he is "working hard", as a customer I'm ordering a service. That's how these things work. I give you money, you perform a service. Now a month in, I call the store again. They put on a manager, and I tell him about the installer. He is quite casual about it. No apology. Just, "Yeah....we know. We have a new installer coming in today. He will be licensed and he will start working down the list." I was told I should hear from him in the next week. I'm sure this was nothing more than them trying to get me off the phone and not bother them again with my pesky purchase. That was the attitude. 2 weeks pass and we call again. My fiancé is told, "Yes. We are behind. You are third on the list, but we may be able to bump you up to 2nd. Looking at about a month, maybe sooner." I was originally 3rd on the list and was originally told a month. At this point, I'm tied up with work and just let it ride. Most of July passes and I don't hear a word from anyone. We finally call again. We speak to a girl on the phone at the store and she acts horrified as I tell her everything that has happened. She also states that, they still have the original installer, they didn't get anyone new, he was having trouble pulling permits and that she doesn't understand how this all happened. She tells me she is going to call me back within the week and have a new installer lined up who can do it soon. After a week and a half and no call (not surprised) I go to the store. I'm pretty upset at this point and tell them I want my money back. They call the store manager, Brian, up to the counter. He basically asks me why I'm changing my mind. I once again repeat the story. He keeps his back to me the entire time running the card. No attempt to fix the situation. No apology. Nothing. Doesn't even look me in the eye. Just sets the receipt down for me to sign like I was returning a pack of socks to Wal-Mart. Then he makes the worst comment of all. "Thank you" Why would that be your response?! I didn't bother saying anything. I just took my money and left. I don't expect Splash Pools to care about this review. It's obvious none of the employees care about their job and and certainly don't want to be bothered by customers. They are so apathetic they can't even fake it. read more

When you think you have gotten terrible customer service and you wonder how few stars to rate the company, please take a pause, go try to do business with splash pools. Once you have tried your best to spend money there, there is zero doubt you will know what 1 star service truly is. If money was a hockey puck their employees are all star goalies slapping your shot away as best they can. I truly feel they are disappointed when your puck makes it through and money makes it into the register. It's that bad!!! How they have been in business so long is a complete mystery. With 1 oz of competent management there's no doubt that place would do 10x the business. Honestly, I wrote this 3 times and this is the nicest I could be! Called for a service tech for our Balboa Spa that was not working and the tech just changed out parts. Still not working after new top control was installed now tech says it's the pump motor which is brand new. He stated the motor was wrong size. After checking with Spa Pumps they said it was correct motor. We have paid them $378.00 and still don't have a working jacuzzi. Stated they could install a new pump for an additional $700.00 plus. We went to Splash to buy a Semi Inground Pool. After shopping around we found a better pool cheaper at Clearwater Pool in Covington with a Lifetime Gurantee. Meanwhile, Splash recommended there 2 top pool installers to us. One of them, which is who we went with, Tony came out to install our pool. The pool looked beautiful when Tony left with after 2 days of the the pool up the liner wrinkled on both sides. Tony has a 30 day warranty and has not come back to finish our pool. Zero stars! This will be long but please read if you are thinking about purchasing from them. We went in on June 7 to see what's available. After some research they definitely had the better prices. So we decided to order. Micah got very excited because they supposedly had the pool in stock and told us we could possibly get it that Friday. We (me and my 2 kids) were so excited that we may have a pool in a week! So we started getting the yard ready and decided to sell our easy set pool. First call was that Friday to check, part of the pool wasn't in. Since then I have called almost daily to check, there was a new excuse every time I called. This past week I called every day and left a message for Micah. He did not call me back at all. Finally on that Friday he answered the phone. I asked why was he trying to avoid me and he claimed he did not receive any messages. So he said he would have to check his notes and call me back. I said are you really going to call back and he promised he would. It is now Monday and still nothing. I called and spoke to Brian (who I left most of the messages with) and he apologized and promised to call back with a status. Tuesday and no call. I finally went in Wednesday to get a refund. They processed the refund no problem, didn't care to make things right. I understand things happen and you may not receive things as planned but have the decency to not lie and call customers back! I had GREAT experience with Splash Pools in Baton Rouge. Micah is wonderful to work with and very knowledgeable and helpful from the purchase to the first swim. It is summer, so I did have to wait on the installers to install the pool but that was just a few weeks and is very understandable because the installer and his crew are swamped with installing pools. I will say this, the day I was told they would arrive to put my pool in, they were there, even at the time they said. Van even came the evening before to do the ground work. Our pool was supposed to be installed 4 days ago and here were are four days later not able to get in touch with the installer, he won't show back up to complete the job and splash pool is no help!! If Micah isn't working, you are pretty much hosed! Bought hot tub, because I was told it would be no problem to be in my weekend. Paid electrician extra to jump on my job to be ready, hot tub showed up missing a pump and with a "lender cover" because ours was allegedly damaged in shipment. It also showed up without the steps we were promised. The technician was cool guy, he ended up stealing a pump out of another hot tub the next morning to put in mine and got it going. I was told when the cover I ordered came in they would send someone to swap it for me. After a few calls to splash basically reminding them it was in (because they didn't even have clue til I called the 1st time to follow up) and suggesting they come swap It out.....today I just drug it through the front doors of their business, waited a minute for the guy at desk to stop texting and acknowledge I even came in (sounding like heard of elephants dragging the loaner cover) and I got my cover! Not a single other customer in the place, you'd think those doors opening may excite someone. But you'd also think $7500 may get you a tad bit of service after sale, or at least COMPLETION OF OBLIGATION after it! I won't be back in there again for anything!! (Unless it's warranty). read more

I don't usually leave reviews when I have a good experience, but it was necessary that I leave one for the AWESOME experience I had with SPLASH! From the searching and looking for the right size, finding the right design, choosing the perfect package, going through with the purchase, having my pool installed and having the pump added as well as instructions and how to's, I couldn't have asked for a better team! I was so skeptical after previous reviews and even wanted to cancel for fear that my install would take forever and not be completed, but Ryan, my sales rep, assured me that everything would be ok. From the time I walked in, he wasn't pushy, he didn't throw anything on me and he always left the decision up to myself after providing me with the options. I can't speak for everyone else, but he was great. He referred me to Glenn, an installer, and not only did he call me in less than an hour of receiving my information, but he came out the next day to personally introduce himself and take a look at my property to know what was needed so he would be prepared. Not only did this establish a relationship, but it speaks volumes when it comes to customer service. His team was here the entire time and completed the job in one day. There was a little rain during the process, but this didn't prevent them from making sure our 21' above ground was installed as promised. He kept me updated and went over everything and answered every question I had. I can't say enough about the AMAZING experience I had during this entire process. I can't speak for everyone else, but Ryan and Glenn made the purchase and installation process very smooth. I highly recommend going to see them. read more
