I took the time to write an honest review and even reached out directly to the owner to provide an opportunity for clarification. Instead of addressing my concerns, I was told that I should have spoken to the owner before posting a review, despite the owner not being present at the time of the incident. Customers have every right to share their experiences and I'm sure he is a proponent of free speech. Even though I sympathize with the employee who was clearly having a bad day, we've all had difficult days at work. Most of us still do our best to provide good service, and when that's not possible, the professional thing to do is step away, regroup, or politely excuse yourself rather than take it out on customers. Everyone deserves grace, but professionalism and courtesy should still be expected. Thankfully, there are other pool service providers in the area. I would have gladly reconsidered my review if the conversation had been handled professionally and respectfully. Do better.
