It worked to perfection, all he told me to do I did and the water has never been this beautiful. Working with Connor was a pleasure and his follow-up is indicative of his professionalism. Add to this his human character. Seeing that I have problems with one arm he carried the chems to my car a good 30 yards away as the parking lot was full. They deliver personal & professional service with a smile every time I call or stop by. They even let me pay my bill over the phone. This is a family run business that treats me like family each and every time I go there. I like being able to deal directly with the designer who is also the owner. There are no pushy sales people to deal with which is a big plus. The office staff has always been courteous and helpful. They also have some of the most beautiful Koi fish I have ever seen in their pond. I only wish they were open on Saturdays. Nothing ever breaks on my pool until they are closed for the weekend. :)

I am also a long term tenant at Willow Bend Lake Apartments (over 10 years). If you go to their website and look at the photos and description - what you see is what you get and there is no false advertising here. The apartments are very nice and spacious and you have a washer/dryer in each apartment which is great. Not all apartments in town have this. Great place for pets. A few reminders: First, you are in Baton Rouge which is a city environment. The biggest issue are not the people who live here (in terms of noise), but the people who are associated with SOME of the folks who live here. You'll have that anywhere and when you live in a city, that's life. If you want to pay A LOT more in rent, you could always live somewhere else with maximum security levels. This place is near I-12 and I-10, so it makes travelling easier. You're also not that far from grocery stores, the mall, doctors, a hospital, etc. and it's centrally located away from downtown. Do I feel safe? YES. In the more than 10 years that I've lived here, I have gotten a notice on my door only 3x about a crime event (all break-ins/ robberies with no bodily injuries), and they are required to notify the tenants when this happens. I have had NO issues with staff whatsoever. If you have maintenance issues, they will fix it. If you are dissatisfied, talk to the Manager. I've had issues with the fridge, the stove, the washer leaking - and they were fixed. It's wear and tear. They have to fix these things - it's in your rental contract. We have a new Manager I just met today who is very nice, as was the previous manager. Perhaps it depends on which section of the complex you live in - I am towards the front and it seems more quiet there. Would I recommend WBL? Yes, I would, for the price. The rentals out there now are really high and perhaps they have a lot more up to date appliances in the newer locations, but these work just fine (not fancy and very 80's in style). It will take $200-500 off of your rent. I'll stay where I am, thanks!

And If I could give 0 starts I genuinely would, the amenities that you pay for are never open, the Gym has been closed for months and even when it was open the AC did not work. The pool stays closed all the time. The front gate has not worked since I moved in ( a year ago) and they told me it would be fixed within the month I moved in, which led to multiple cars getting broken into, cops are here all the time because of the randos walking in and out and the people breaking into cars. This is not a safe place to live, do not bring your kids here. And Do not trust anything the front office people say when you come for a tour, No the gate is not getting fixed, the gym is No the gym is NOT getting renovated.They said the same thing about the gym, that it would be fixed within the month and has never been open. The Ac does not work in the summer and it is 77 degrees in my unit, I put in a service request and then the maintenance guy basically just says he doesn't know what's wrong and that was the end of that. My AC was leaking and flooded my bathroom and the maintenance guy came 3 times and vacuumed it out before they finally sent someone who knew what he was doing and he realized there was a broken pipe that needed to be fixed. The dishwashers do not dry your dishes and worst part EVERYONE HERE SMOKES WEED IN THERE APARTMENTS SO YOUR ENTIRE UNIT WILL SMELL LIKE WEED AND SMOKE THE ENTIRE TIME YOU LIVE HERE. I was desperate when I moved here but PLS PLS do NOT let the "renovated" look fool you this place is garbage I wish I would have listened to everyone else's reviews. Thank God my lease is up in less than a month bc man if it wasn't so damn expensive I would have broke my lease the month after I moved in. ABSOLUTE GARBAGE, do better Atlas.
