I needed a quick car wash and noticed Splash was on my route so I stopped by. It was a warm Saturday afternoon so they were crowded. I was hesitant at first because I didn't want to be stuck waiting for long but, they did seem to be moving quick so I pulled in. I got a basic car wash for $30. I thought that was a bit pricy but I was already committed. They take your car to be vacuumed, then it's washed and towel dried by the staff. While you wait, you pay at the window and they bring your car around. The team here works really hard so I want to acknowledge that. However, after I pulled off and really examined my vehicle, there were some spots that they missed and that was a bit upsetting. I'll probably not return on a busy day so they can take their time to really service my vehicle. read more

50-50, they deserve another chance!! The inside was not cleaned as thoroughly as I would have liked. Still found hair that wasn't vacuumed up properly, but they did a phenomenal job detailing and cleaning the outside of my car. for the price of $35, I'd say it was worth it. My car still looked amazing, smelled clean, and really needed a lift, and that's what it got! You walk up to request what type of car wash you want and pay at the window. I Pretty much paid $49 dollars to get my car scratched. I spoke to Sammy about the incident and he gave me the run around saying that it wasn't possible that they were at fault for the scratches On the car. They also didn't really clean the wheels properly and the side skirts of the car were still pretty much dirty. Overall for my first time It was pretty bad I only showed up to have my car washed and my interior cleaned, not to leave with my paint damaged and nicked all over the place. read more

Splash is a little expensive for what I received as far as cleanliness. I will say they did a great job vacuuming my car and the outside. It had a lot of dog hair so I was happy with how much they got out. Service was pleasant enough and they got me in and out quick. However, they didn't wipe down the cup holders, dash, steering wheel etc... not even a little bit. Maybe that doesn't come standard on the most basic wash but it still costs $25 so I felt that it should. read more

I got the executive car wash from them! Last time I was here was probably 6 months or more ago and it costed 35 since 2017 it looks like from the photos. Cheapest around town and I recommended it to everyone! Now the executive wash costs $47 for a car and goes up based on the size of the vehicle. Understandably I assume it's for the rising prices in the economy. So just a heads up! I will come by less frequently to save money. They still do a great job and do it all by hand, I love the look and smell of my car every time so it's still worth it, great hardworking staff, please give them a try! read more

On March 20th around 3 pm I went to Splash on Shepard and chose the $30 wash, the owner or manager talked to me a few minutes later and said I really needed the $50 wash. I love this place! There are a variety of options, but I usually get the executive car wash. Sometimes it takes longer than others, but when I get the car back, it looks new! I took my car here after being stranded on the beach with four kids. Every crevice inside and out was completed coated with sand by the time we were towed. I was embarrassed to even take it to them to be washed, but it would have taken me at least a week to do it myself. No one at Splash commented, complained, or even gave me the side-eye. These employees work really hard, so don't forget to tip! read more

They are incredible!!! They pay close attention and are patient with all customers. The manager was very adamant that all of our needs were met and ensured our cars were spotless!! Don't expect to get anything other than a basic car wash unless you're willing to wait more than 2hrs. I came here and wasn't even given the option of getting something other than the basic. Waited about 25 mins in line and another 30mins for the wash. Kind of a let down. Also they did a poor job of cleaning my car. After paying for the wash I still had several areas that weren't cleaned and had to do it myself. Def won't be going back. read more

I am very happy with my interior detail that I had done here at Splash Hand Car Wash on Shepherd. After comparing the prices of several auto detail businesses, Splash had the most reasonable pricing for the services I was needing, which was the shampoo and complete interior detail of my Tacoma. I dropped it off at around noon and was informed it would be ready by close of business on a busy saturday, which I was happy to know that they take their time with their interior detailing. They even cleared out all of my belongings into bags so that they could clean the glove compartment, middle console, etc. It was SPOTLESS, and I honestly feel like i'm driving a brand new car. For $115 for a truck, and the cleaning of my truck bed as well, I was more than satisfied and would definitely bring my car back here the next time I need a wash or detail. Thanks Splash! read more

Great prices and great service! Brought my truck here for a hand car wash, it took less than an hour to do. I had glass inside the truck due to my windows being smashed in Houston (surprise surprise) so I needed extra cleaning from dog hair and they detailed some of the inside while getting all of the extra glass out that I couldn't. I absolutely love this place! Sammy, the manager, treats you like a friend and always takes great care of the cars as if they were his own. His staff does a great job and if they ever miss anything, the take care of it right away. That rarely happens but it's refreshing that there is never an attitude when you point something out. They are very popular so do your best to get there during an off time or you'll be waiting a bit. You can always leave your car with Sammy and pick it up later. I prefer to get there early on a Saturday morning to beat the rush. Oh and you can't beat their prices! Go see for yourself. Your car's paint will thank me. read more

The absolute BEST! I've been going to both this location and the Richmond location for about 10 years. My cars are always spotless.

Man...this place has car washing down to a science! While the line may seem long and daunting, as you wait in your car to pull forward to the vacuum line. It's well worth the wait. However, the wait isn't very long at all. There are several wash and pricing options to choose from. I usually get the same thing every visit; however, I may be looking to change up in the future. The prices are very competitive and well worth it. When I'm in town, I usually try to stop in before 5:30. The one thing I love about this place is the fact that they have quality toilet tissue. I know it sounds crazy, but sometimes the small, quality things count most. read more

Do NOT come here. I came here a few months ago, and they left white streaks on my car that are still there. I didn't notice it at first when leaving their place because it's on the hood and they pulled it into a parking spot for me. But my mom noticed it the very same day on our driveway at home. I uploaded the picture I took the next day & you can see the streaks at the bottom of the pic (my car's dirty because I had to drive to Austin the next day & only took this picture after I arrived). When I picked up my car the 2 front door skirts wasn't cleaned so I have to tell them if they can have it cleaned and sure they did. You pull up, get off your car and head straight to the payment counter. There you will reliably be greeted every time by a familiar face. They will ask what car and what package you'll want to get for your wash. Once you paid and you're off. The detail and care they show for my car is beyond expectations. Most places allow to select any package and let you be on your way. Here they take the time why you would need or not need a certain package. While other might see it as a sales pitch, I see it as my oversight and their recommendations for a better note quality clean. I've been to Texas for a year now and refuse to wash my car anywhere else. They have become familiar and a reliable place to wash. Since I don't carry cash I usually ask for a $2 charge so I can head to vending machine. I recommend this place everytime read more

I FELT SCAMMED Mine is not a luxury car, but I love it still, so I always get it hand-washed. The Westheimer location was close by me, so I thought I'd try it out. I should have known! These people charge $18 for a simple car wash. No waxing, and no wiping on the inside, just an outside wash and vacuuming...for $18. I've had all these services done including wiping and waxing at Bubbles car-hand wash which is less than a mile away...FOR $14 on a Saturday afternoon. The job done with my car was so terrible I nearly had tears in my eyes. I could have had a better job done at a drive through car wash 2 miles away. They did not wash my car properly and they did not vacuum properly. These people seem to only care about cars that are paying for executive washes and more expensive options. I had to go home, and literally rewash my car. My car had a white substance on the right side that was left untouched. If they really had washed my car, this substance would not have been there because I was able to remove it with a simple bathroom towel (see picture). As for the vacuuming, I was simply disgusted. They just did a quick job, did not vacuum my plastic mats and left dirt on the floor carpets (pictured). The company claims that it wipes the dashboard and nothing else. They basically just run a wipe over the dashboard without caring if it's really clean. I had to redo that too. What they did however, was pour a liquid in my driver's seat (also pictured). Not only did I have to sit for 15 minutes, dealing with a random drunk man who could not stop bothering me, I got a dirty car back and paid $18. I felt scammed! These people are clearly taking advantage of a good zip code to overcharge people and do a terrible job. I went in the morning, so they were not busy. They simply made the decision to take my money and not give me it's worth. I basically rewashed my car, I deserve a refund. IF THE COMPANY CANNOT DELIVER ON THE $18 SERVICE, THEN DON'T OFFER IT!!! BUT TAKING PEOPLE'S HARD EARNED MONEY AND GIVING THEM A NUISANCE SERVICE IS UNACCEPTABLE. I am so disappointed and angry. Houstonians do not deserve these low standards and I will write on every review board to let them know. read more

Brought a NEW car here and it wasn't dried properly and worse...swirl marks everywhere and a huge superficial scratch along the driver's side. The last place I went to get my car detailed they took a can of paint out of my trunk to clean the trunk then put it back in the same place upside down and got paint all over my mat, leather conditioner & my leather bound owner manual. I replaced my trunk mat but they cleaned my owners manual which I thought was a lost cause. They got a 2 inch strip of paint off of my red leather seat without damaging the leather. I bumped a yellow pole and they got all of the paint off (which the other place didn't) & you can't even tell it touched anything because the paint looks perfect. My car looks and smells beautiful.
