Great place with attention to detail that will leave your car in tiptop shape - no wonder there is always a line! Recommend arriving as early as you can. They have a well-kept and comfortable waiting area, plus incentive to enjoy nearby restaurants as they are under the same ownership. read more

Best car wash I've been to in Houston, hands down. The car wash does everything by hand, no machine scratches. Got a wash and detail and my car came out looking brand new. The staff were phenomenal, every single person was friendly and clearly took pride in the work. They've got free WiFi and a waiting area with a window so you can watch your car get cleaned while you do work or relax in the AC. Great spot with exceptional results. If you're in Houston and want your car taken care of, this is the place to go! read more

Such a great experience to come to for a hand wash! Came here on a Saturday morning around 10AM and I have a large SUV & got the mini detail package that came out to $60 with tax my car came out so clean and they finished it so fast! They quoted me that it would take roughly around 45 mins and was exactly that. They have a punch card system as well so every time you come in you get credit towards a free car wash. The waiting room is right in the front of the entire car wash so it's entertaining seeing your car getting done makes time go by fast. They do have free drinks in the waiting area & the AC inside is nice as well. **I did come in once on the weekend to get my car seats shampooed and they said due to how busy it gets on the weekends they don't have time shampoo seats and they only do it during the week when it's slower which made sense just a heads up!** Overall great car wash & save your receipt for a 15% discount at the burger joint across the street :) read more

I had been a repeat customer here and had always had positive experiences, which makes my most recent experience especially disappointing. I had even met the owner previously and had a very pleasant interaction with him. Last weekend, I brought my car in for a hand wash about a week after having portions of it repainted. I specifically told the staff that the car had recently been painted and asked whether I should have it waxed or do anything differently. I was told that wax services had to be scheduled in advance and that the highest-level service available to walk-in customers, which I purchased, would be fine. When my car was finished, I immediately noticed white spots/streaking across the recently repainted areas. The difference was obvious enough that I stopped before leaving and asked what had happened. An employee named Gael came out, inspected the car, and was extremely kind and professional. He explained that microfiber towels can sometimes cause micro-scratches or similar issues when they are no longer new and said that could be what had happened. He reassured me that they would figure out a solution, took photos of the affected areas, and told me the owner would be informed and would contact me. Before leaving, I also asked Gigi to document the issue in writing on my receipt, which she did. After several days passed without anyone contacting me, I called the following Friday to follow up. This is where my experience became particularly disappointing. When I eventually reached the owner, he was immediately rude, defensive, and dismissive. His gruffness caught me off guard. Before having any meaningful discussion with me about what had happened, he told me they would not cover anything, said they do not cause damage like this, and initially indicated that he did not know what situation I was referring to. His tone was surprisingly rude, especially considering that I was a repeat customer simply calling to follow up on an issue his own employees had photographed and documented. He eventually said he was in a meeting and would call me back in an hour. I explained that I would also be in a meeting then and suggested we speak the following day instead. About an hour later, I received two consecutive calls while I was in that meeting, followed by a voicemail from another employee informing me that they would not take responsibility for the issue. I understand that a business may disagree with a customer about what caused damage, and I would have been completely willing to have a reasonable conversation about whether the paint shop, the wash, or something else was responsible. What concerns me most is how the owner handled the situation, which was in stark contrast to his own employees. His staff identified a possible explanation related to the wash, photographed the affected areas, documented my complaint in writing, and told me the owner would contact me. Instead, no one followed up until I called, and I was then met with immediate hostility and denial rather than any genuine attempt to investigate or resolve the issue. I had trusted this business enough to bring my car here repeatedly, and I will not return. Based on this experience, I also cannot recommend them. If something does go wrong with your vehicle, even when you report it immediately and have the issue documented before leaving, my experience suggests you may have a very difficult time getting the matter addressed professionally. read more

THE BEST! The car wash isn't even the best part about this establishment. That's just a bonus! They were incredibly nice, made you feel comfortable and welcomed. This place is the equivalent of how you feel when you go to the spa to get your nails done, but it's your car. They were incredibly thorough and still finished in a timely manner. About 45 minutes from when I got in line (decently busy) until the car was done and clean! You're able to sit inside in the nice A/C and do computer work with their free WiFi. Or sit outside and watch sports on the TV. (Or u can go across the street for a delicious burger) I have a dog that travels with me everywhere. So yes, my car smells like dog! BUT when I say my car smelled fresh and clean for dayssss after I went to the car wash, I mean it! If you're deciding who to trust your car with, DEFINITELY GO HERE!! The staff are so polite and hard working. They will take care of your car. They care ab their customers and our needs, which is why you should go here!! I forgot to take pics but will next time! read more

This is what my car looks like after the mini detail. The dashboard, the cup console, the carpet, The rear view Mirror all poorly "cleaned". I asked the front desk associate about the "hand wax" service and she said verbatim "I don't know what it really does". She said she would send a manager to explain, and no one ever came to explain anything read more

This car wash is conveniently located near me, however; the inefficiencies are unbelievable. The staff is polite and seem to be aware of the inefficiencies which is the purpose behind my writing this review. I wish they could come up with a more efficient way of handling their lines as blocking off certain lanes with cones causes traffic on shepherd street and it's unsafe. I was in line to get my car washed and decided to go somewhere else because it's just too much. It also created a bottle neck for traffic trying to exit. It would be great if the owners could consider a more efficient way of handling their traffic lines. read more

Jumping into my friend's car after her car wash reminded me that my car really needed a wash. Off to The Car Wash for the first time we went. They have the prices clearly labeled upon arrival for the different levels for each type of car too. Upon walking in to pay, the cashier already had me rang up. She even took my name and number to call for us to walk over to the Burger Joint for lunch while my car was getting detailed. If we decided to wait there, there is plenty of space to hang out along with a complimentary snack and coffee or water. If you get decide to get food at the Taco Stand or the Burger Joint, you receive your 15% discount from the Car Wash receipt. Super convenient to walk over while waiting on a busy Saturday. Upon returning for my car, my car was nicely detailed including the windows which I feel a lot of places mess up. I did the Super Clean this round. Maybe next time I'll do the next one for some extra love to my seats. Overall great job. Love the punch card to help wanting to come back. read more

I requested for the internal of my truck to be cleaned, they didn't even have to do the outside. I don't know what they did but it wasn't cleaned. Dashboard still dusty, doors still dusty, steering wheel still dusty, everything still dusty. Seems like the only thing done was wiping my floor and i had to tell them to do that! & the truck wasn't even that dirty because i already partially cleaned it. I paid over $40 & tipped for what? read more

Decided to try The Car Wash after the hand wash business, one block south, that I have been using for the past seven years had a longer wait than I had time for. The Car Wash people were nice but there was no attention to detail. Paid for a mini detail. My console cover was not cleaned, console still had sawdust on it, floor mats not properly cleaned. In short, there was little attention to detail. I could have driven my truck through a carwash tunnel and dried it myself for the same result and a third of the cost. I expect to get what I pay for. I will be returning to the hand wash a block south, even when the wait is longer than I would like. read more

Great attention to detail. They even blow the water out of the cracks so you don't have streaks on the side of your vehicle when you drive away. read more

I was disappointed with my experience here. I came around noon on a Wednesday and wanted a full detail with my seats and carpets shampooed. I pulled up to the "detail" line and waited over 20 minutes and no one ever approached me. I noticed the other line was moving faster so I made the block and got in that line. I was told at 12:23pm that the did not shampoo after noon. I thought this was shady so I went to another place off of Yale street and got much better service with seats and carpets shampooed at a much better price. read more

I went there for a basic car wash. the waiting area was very nice, with many free beverages to choose from, WiFi, fans outside with a TV, and AC inside. The wash was efficient and good! It is a little pricier than some other places, but feel it is a good value for the amenities you are getting as you wait. You can also use your receipt to get a discount at The Burger Joint and I believe also Taco Stand that day if that is also how you choose to wait. read more

I saw someone holding a sign for a $9.99 car wash and so I pulled in and when I did, the owner actually came and shook my hand and asked me which car wash I wanted and when I told him I wanted the one that was on the sign. He said it would just be five dollars more because I have an SUV. The car was very clean and everyone worked really hard and it was the fastest I have ever had a car clean. They also offer a punchcard for a basic car wash and then you can get 15% off at the taco stand or the burger joint with your receipt, but for that day only. read more

My experience here has always been top tier, from the aesthetic to the custom service. This isn't just another car wash but an experience. The owner also introduces himself which makes the experience a lot more personable. Would recommend 10/10 read more

My car was not cleaned, there were white ....water or dried soap spots all over my windows and car. I showed one of the guys and he responded in Spanish, shrugging his shoulders like there was nothing he could do. Mind you, the package that I paid for was not the basic tier. He could have at least showed some kind of effort or concern to resolve it. The service was extremely fast so I was considering making them my go to spot. I will not be returning. read more

I was interested in getting my car washed, I love the aesthetic of this car wash. The prices are affordable, if you just do the exterior it's about $10. However, if you do the whole nine, it's about $30. They have different options and does offer memberships for those who are interested. One thing I appreciate about businesses, is when they offer complementary beverages as clients wait. To me, that is considerate service, simple fact that we may wait X amount of time for our car to be washed. Nonetheless, I was very satisfied with the price and the outcome of my car wash. Also, they provide you with a reward program, you will get a punch for every visit for a redeemable service. They also offer a 15% discount at the burger joint and I believe the taco stand. I'm not sure if all of these businesses, i.e. the burger joint, the taco stand, the pizza Palace (coming soon), are owned by the same owner or owners. read more

I went there to have exterior wash. I chose not to do the inside, but somebody kept sitting in my car and going through my car. I was told he was moving the car, but there was an SUV in front of him so he couldn't move it. instead of taking responsibility for his staff. The manager or owner told me I was being prejudice. I would not recommend this place. plus there were like 10 workers there but the werent working on any cars just missing around. Do not go there. I've already seen other reviews of staff stealing from your car. read more
