I have gone to this car wash several times and it is usually so good at cleaning my cars. The only thing that usually needs improvement is the drying towels. They are always so damp if not wet. Today though was a decline in quality. The wash did not get the bugs off my car and the blowers did not dry the car as much as it usually does. I ended up taking too much time drying the car by hand with the damp towels. I hope they fix these issues as this was the best car wash in terms of quality in Santa Cruz county. read more

I purchased the $40 membership, they wanna charge $30 more dollars to have the interior cleaned by the employees. Never have I been to a place trying to charge so much for such low quality service. No stars if i could, you have to go through the wash twice for it to look like it's cleaning the outside the water they have smells bad, the vacuums work if there's only a couple ppl using them but if it's full good luck getting a good vacuum to clean the interior. Then they wanna charge $3 per mat to pressure wash which only takes less than a minute??? They can't include that and then the tire dressing is put on very poorly. Really terrible and that's not even mentioning how the employees talk to you. This owner below is trying to cover their tracks but the employee he has as a manager didn't try to make anything right or provide any alternative. Needed a quick wash and decided to give Slash Car Wash another try. Was able to obtain a free wash through the website so total bonus. Took a bit to get checked in as there were quite a few cars waiting to get washed. Once we got through the wash was good and we were able to find a space and made use of the towels, garbage can and vacuums. We will definitely be back! read more

This is a okay option for a basic rinse but not for any detail. spots on windows, no shine on exterior, got the ultimate wash and I get better at PM gas station. The free vacuums and rags are nice. I brought my car here today after two road trips which left my car extremely dirty. The line was long due to the nice day. I pulled in so I could knock the dust off my car. The two men working the area where you enter the car wash took extra time to really make sure the bugs and other things that won't just wash off were removed before I entered. They spent at least two minutes or more. I don't know your names BUT I know that these two men put in effort that they could have easily just skipped due to the long lines of cars. I have only used the basic wash so I can't speak for other services but I am always satisfied with the outcome. It's an easy, straightforward process and they provide vaccums and towels for self-service cleaning with the basic exterior wash package. It takes me less than 10 mins to vaccum my car and wipe down any small spots missed and my car looks great. No scratches or any problem from the wash. read more

I've been coming here since they opened, and they've not strayed from that impressive first impression one bit. We have had regular washes (the Shine Package is the best) and additional customized hand detailing projects. They refreshed our faded black panels, and they are still holding up great a year+ later!!! And the crew taking care of the interior today are killing it. Great work. I know times are tough and this was my first time at the car wash. I watched the car in front of me tip the attendant at the beginning of the wash and the attendant scrubbed the entire car before it entered the wash. I think he barely got my driver's side and nothing else. The back of the car is still dirty, especially around the license plate, which the hand brush could have easily gotten. I wasn't impressed and had I not signed up for the monthly unlimited before the wash, I wouldn't have joined at all. read more

They have like 10 spots to dry your car, the line funnels two lanes into one tight lane, license plate reader works half the time to open the gate arm. Tight left hand turn to get your car onto the track into the wash area. Worst designed car wash location I have ever seen. Unbelievable. Joined a week ago already ready to cancel. read more

I started to leave four star, but went ahead and entered five because the pricing is good enough to outweigh a couple tsk tsk's. Drive-through works great and the pre-drive-through wash brush by attendant. I think improves the wash quality. My minor complaint is that at the end it sometimes will be signaling green to exit when it hasn't rinsed off all the soap yet. Or it will signal Red to stop, which seems to throw the car into a lurch. But the self clean stalls with vacuum are handy and if you just bring some rags with you, you can take care of any leftover soap or water on the back into the car pretty easily. The vacuums have good suction. So at a current $14 self wash it's worth it to drive 10 miles to Splash. I've also done the $38 basic full service several times and I've been very satisfied with that. I hope people tip appropriately as the folks seem to work quite hard. A couple times the interior had lots of lint and crumbs in the nooks and crannies and that's really when I want a full service. At intro rate of $38 for that basic full service I also find excellent value. That plus a good tip. Wish they put one of these in Watsonville. read more

I was pleased to find this highly rated car wash not too far from me. They offer 3 types of washes--basic, shine, and ultimate protection. They also offer monthly memberships for the various types of washes which pays itself after two washes plus you get free vacuuming. Although it didn't get rid of all the bugs, I have to give them some credit cause the bugs were pretty caked on there. I had a positive first experience here the other day. I hadn't been since they re-modeled and re-opened and it is a very straight forward and peaceful experience. Everything is brand new, which feels nice too. The staff were extremely warm and welcoming and broke down the wash options very clearly. I wasn't inspired to vacuum myself so I ended up paying the $45 fee for them to do the work. While $45 feels pricey compared to other locations in town, I do think that there is a care and presence at this location that is quite noticeable. Considering how many days a year we drive our vehicles, $45 + a tip is actually reasonable to me. They offer an unlimited wash membership option that is appealing to me and I am considering it. Entry scanner looks up license plate to prove membership and allows vehicle in without talking to anyone. This location has eight (8) self service vacuuming stations and a pile of clean microfiber cloths to use.
