scratched window tint

I would give it zero stars if i could. They don't do quality work. They don't thoroughly vacuum... windows are still dirty and, and if they damage your vehicle , they don't take responsibility for it. Don't take your vehicle here if you want a good job.

First visit, no effort.

I was actually recommended to this place by my sister who really likes the service here. I paid for the most expensive package and got the bare minimum of effort. I came back and explained what issues I had and the young man Eddie was so understanding and kind. None of the people who cleaned my car the first time around wanted to help clean it out the second time, but Eddie did. He was the only one cleaning my car and for that one good employee I'm going to give five stars. I'll likely not come back but I'm grateful for Eddie and the fact that he made things right. Do better Cruz Car Wash.

I order their 3x wax package with inside and outside. They were fast under 30 min. But when I went to my car no one was around it and I noticed a bunch of scratches. I will never be back here now I have to spend more money to get this buffed out. Very disappointed. I do not recommend to anyone that cares about their car paint.

I went here once 6ish months ago for interior/ exterior, when I got home I found that one of the guys had stepped on my back seat and left a greasy/muddy boot print. I just let it go and started going to whalers instead until my friend insisted that cruz was the best and I should go back there. I went today and my exterior looks and feels no better than after driving through the shell station wash. Interior is vacuumed without attention to detail and my dash/ steering wheel were not even touched. I tip automatically when I get services like this because I just think it's right, but I should have inspected the work done before tipping this time because now I've dropped about 60$ (I tipped 15) on two separate occasions just to have to clean it myself afterwards. Their prices aren't super steep, but they are higher than whalers and don't do as good of a job.

Full service car wash for $43 plus $6 tip, exterior OK mostly done by machine, but the hood did not get wiped down properly when drying. When I pulled up for vacuum/interior, I told the guy with the vacuum it may be easier to take the rubber mats out to shake them. He said, "No, not necessary." I said, ok as long as he could get the sand off and underneath. He responded nonchalantly that not all sand can come off. (I spoke to the supervisor about him in the office while I waited to be called) It looked like he did not even try! The other two guys (who I then tipped individually) came back to help with the inside after that one had walked away and they did vacuum below the rubber mat, only one rubber mat got wiped down, but still lots of sand on the mats that could've been shaken or wiped? (except the far back looked good). Side of seats not vacuumed nor near seatbelt. Dashboard probably the only thing wiped down, because the cup holders, arms, vents had dirt and some hair on/inside them. Mind you, $49 for a half-ass job. No wonder they are now advertising so much on Groupon.

They did a great job and were thorough in cleaning the first time I came. The second time with a different car, however, a lot was lacking in the vacuum and they did the job way way too quickly and it was suspicious. I noticed several spots hadn't even been cleaned and immeriately came back to ask for a redo of the vacuum only to find that had also been done half-heartedly. Poor quality. Wouldn't recommend a place that leaves this sort of trash (see pic below) after "cleaning" TWICE.

I got the most expensive car wash they offer ($40). The outside looked fine, but the inside was terrible. It looked like they didn't even touch the inside. Admittedly, the car was dirty. But I would rather them say something to acknowledge the car was dirtier than they could clean when they "finished" and handed me the keys, rather than letting me tip them over 20% and walk off with a dirty car. I definitely feel like basic wash is the same as their most expensive wash. If you go here, don't waste your money and get the basic wash.

Scheduling was easy, with good communication and follow-through. I wouldn't call it a bargain, but the price is fair for high-quality work that set me up for years of easy and effective car care. In a world where everything seems to go downhill and most companies cut corners on customer service and satisfaction, Beach Cities is one business that has maintained high standards and quality over the years. Thanks, guys.

Initially, I had a great experience with Nate and his crew when they tinted my Mercedes Sprinter…read moreconversion van. The tint looked excellent, and I thanked Nate personally when I picked it up. Once I got home, I discovered significant damage on the driver and passenger door panels that had been removed for the tinting. The panels were pulling away from the door frames. Four clips on each door were either missing or broken. Three bolt-covering end caps were missing and the rest were installed incorrectly. A bolt was missing from the passenger panel. The plastic was scratched and jagged where it had been pried off, and the black rubber pillar window seals had razor-blade cuts. I even found a razor blade left on my seat. I contacted Nate that same day with photos and videos. He would not take my calls, but he did text to apologize and offered to repair the damage. He explained that his most experienced tech had called out and two younger techs worked on my van. I agreed to give them the opportunity to correct it. Days went by with no follow-up. After multiple messages, Nate said his expert tech had "fallen off the face of the earth" and suggested his "plastic guy" repair the damaged panels. I was skeptical, but he promised to schedule the repair soon. Then more days passed with no communication. At no point would he speak to me on the phone. After eight days, I went to the shop in person. Nate was not there, but his brother inspected the van and agreed the work was unacceptable, especially the cut window seals. He assured me they would make things right and said refunding the tint cost was the least they should do. A week has passed since then with no response. I had to take the van to the Mercedes dealership. They confirmed missing and damaged clips and improper reinstallation. They also said the damaged seals should remain watertight but are visibly compromised. I paid $350 for the tint and $758.13 out-of-pocket to have the panels repaired. The seals remain damaged. I genuinely liked Nate and his brother. Their shop is clean and they seem to care about quality. However, ignoring a customer after damaging their vehicle is unacceptable. There is another review describing a similar situation tied to personal issues Nate was having. That may explain things, but it does not excuse the lack of accountability. The tint quality was great, but if anything goes wrong, do not expect them to stand behind their work.

There were still wrappers on the floor, a bottle cap left behind, and crumbs all over the seat. It was very clear that my car was not properly cleaned or even thoroughly vacuumed. I also paid for a package that specifically included wheel cleaning, and my wheels were still visibly dirty. That alone shows the service I paid for was not actually completed. What's even more upsetting is that a very sentimental item is now missing. I had a small guardian angel token, about the size of a silver dollar, that I've kept near my cupholder for three years. I specifically remember seeing it while putting loose change in my center console so it wouldn't be taken, I never thought I would need to worry about my guardian angel token being taken. When I got home, it was gone. I called and spoke to the manager and asked the workers who vacuumed my car. They claimed they didn't see it, which I find extremely hard to believe given where it was located. I was offered for them to redo the vacuuming but I live across town and don't want to ever set foot in that place again. Whoever took my guardian angel token should be ashamed. It held deep personal value and cannot be replaced. To make matters worse, I tipped the workers generously, five dollars each to the vacuuming staff and ten dollars to the person finishing the car, and not a single thank you. Just indifference. Between the poor quality cleaning, incomplete services, lack of accountability, and a missing personal item, I would not recommend this place to anyone. This was a very slow day for them as well, all the crew members were waiting around, as I was the only one in be que along with one person after me, about 15 min later.
