Driving through Billings, MT today en route to visit friends who live in Sheridan, WY and stopped at this freaking fab place! Everything is right about this restaurant! The food is delish. The artful interior and atmosphere makes one feel happy and delighted. The Berliner Bowl and Mede Bowl were off the charts delicious and plentiful as was the combo gyro. This place ROCKS and my pals who travel through Billings a lot will make it a regular stop. Service is great too! read more

We liked it so much we ordered takeout twice in a week on our way driving through! The first time the fries were perfectly crispy and seasoned SO WELL...the second time though, the fries were a little limp and cold...maybe they came out well before the sandwiches? In any case, I'd order them again and maybe request them extra crispy. I ordered the Falafel Berliner with the Tsatsiki on the side...glad I opted to do that since the sandwich was already oozing with the red sauce on it...but it was magnificenly delicious! The sandwiches and doner are so huge though we had one half for lunch and the other for dinner...I'm really happy about that since the prices are incredibly good! My husband and I FINALLY got to try this place, and I gotta say, I'm so freaking glad we did! He got the Berliner wrap with sweet potato waffle fries, and I the Mediterranean wrap with regular fries. The fries were fantastically seasoned and came with a dipping sauce that I could put on just about anything! They literally should bottle that sauce. And they should give 2 sauces because one just will never be enough. Their food is so delicious, that even though I'm still full from lunch, I can't wait to go back! It's pretty fresh and we got a lot of food, in my opinion, so keep that in mind when seeing the prices. We will come back here again and again. read more

Found this by a chance search and I can't believe I didn't know about it. My new fav in Billings. The Doner Basket has a little bit of everything! I couldn't even come close to finishing it. My friend got the wrap and she raved. The place is upbeat and eclectic decor with good vibes. Overhead a worker say a good way to judge a place to eat is if the staff eats there. She said she's been eating here 4 times a week before she even worked it. I'm sold! read more

Driving through Billings tonight we wanted something quick-ish but not fast food. Man did we hit the jackpot!! We both ordered gyros and they were amazing. The meat is tender, the sauce perfectly seasoned and the portions very generous. The garlic dipping sauce served with the fries was a unique and delicious twist. The fries, hot and crispy. It's just a few minutes off of 94 and I hope we can stop by on our way back through. read more

Wow, what a great find. Good for GF, Veggie and carnivores--ie everyone. We had wraps, bowls, wings, sweet potato fries. All were excellent, very large portions. There are also several beers on tap as well as sangria. Spitz was a highlight spot from our trip to Billings, even 6 months later my girlfriend reminds me of how good the gyro was. Everything they served was fantastic and in theme with Montana it is huge portions. The space itself is cozy, vibrant, and communal and feels like a real community anchor point downtown. We didn't partake but they have a big boardgames selection so lingering is very much encouraged here. Would love to have a spot like this in our neck of the woods. read more

Super cool atmosphere! Nice outdoor patio in front. The back patio will be open later this summer. Games you can play as you are waiting for your food. You won't wait long. Food came out fast. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They do Togo cups. I had the Street car with chicken. Off the hook amazing!!!!! It was massive. Great flavor. They have a sauce station (see pictures) with homemade sauces. Salad was good, the dressing was yummy. The baklava tool was a great end to a yummy meal. You MUST stop by!!! read more

I'm always happy to go to Spitz! Quality food, prices, and atmosphere. It's hands-down one of my favorite places to eat at in Billings. We need more places like Spitz out here! The portions are always generous, and the food is so flavorful and fresh. On most recent order, we tried their wings (in addition to our favorite salad and doner wrap)-- they were fabulous! Kinda smaller wings, but flavorful and not over-fried/battered like a lot of wings I've had at other restaurants. The sauces were super yummy too. The Berliner-Buffalo sauce is better than regular buffalo sauce, in my opinion. The service is good too. Orders have always been accurate. read more

They describe this place as Mediterranean Street Food! The reason why is described below. The Chicken was definitely dried out in the Sun and the arm air. had the Mediterranean wrap with Chicken. The wrap was as dry as 2pm in my he Sahara Desert. A few Vegetables and a layer of dry overcooked warmed up twice chicken added. Did I mention Dry? Definitely not Mediterranean or Greek Food. Ok for a California native I've been DYING for a food spot in Billings that has a good aesthetic and vibe and food presentation. This place has it. It's new so expect a few kinks but they do a lot of things right. The staff were friendly and chill, but if I had any qualms it would be that the food was overly salty and didn't have the freshest healthy taste that I was looking for. It's good, don't get me wrong but I was hoping for more fresh/healthy taste. Seems like a good place to chill. This greek style restaurant has some delicious and healthy options. Also, the menu items are not that expensive compared to most restaurants. Also the sangria was amazing. It is a seat yourself and order when you want type of place and they bring the food to you. Love love love this place, from the very first time I was there. The food is to die for because the flavors and variety of veg in each dish is so diverse. My personal favorite is the vegan berliner wrap with falafel and some extra red sauces. Its so fun to be there too because of the unique art and color scheme of the whole place. It makes it easy to just chill out and hang- especially when there are games you can get out and play! What really keeps me motivated with coming back though is how kind everyone is that works there. I ordered takeout when I was in Billings last week, and promised myself I would leave a review. The food was incredibly good. The wraps were lavish and tasty, and my salad was spectacular -- not just an assemblage of ingredients, but excellent seasonings and proportions. The stand out item for me was the wings. We ordered the zhoug flavor, and it was amazing. The wings were fully cooked, crispy, juicy, and would be great no matter what, but the seasonings knocked our socks off! There might be other locations, but only Billings to my knowledge featured wings, so it's definitely worth a trip. This would be a five-star meal were it not for my quibbles about the hummus (bland, for me, without the richness I'm used to) and the pita strips (one order was great, the other seemed uncooked; just a fumble on a busy night I'm sure.) But I would order from them regularly if I lived in town. read more

First: Clean! Second: Ordering process worked well. I don't like leaving a tip if I'm the one who goes to a counter to order my food and pay for it first. What am I tipping for? Yeah, yeah.....I know.....the perpetual Divide Of Disagreement. I worked hospitality and food service. I didn't expect tips if the customer was doing my job. Third: 33 minutes passed until my food was ready. Mine was one of five occupied tables. I figuratively watched my fingernails grow. Four: Greek salad had no dressing on it. Five: The Gyro meat had been sliced long beforehand and kept on a steam table or other means to keep it warm long enough that it could dry out. Also not much Gyro meat.....lots of romaine lettuce, though. That's some expensive romaine lettuce. The food is amazing. The fries are so delicious you honestly don't want to stop eating them. One. Of the best meals we had while staying in Billings for the balloon festival. Great food, ambiance, and service! Don't wait to get seated, seat yourself and order at the front counter. My family and I ordered the Mediterranean, the medi bowl, and doquitos. I tried everything and it was all delicious. The portions are large as well. I was especially impressed with the fried pita strips with the kids meal. The wait was about 20 minutes to get food which seemed long, but we played one of the many board games they had. All of the servers were friendly and helpful.
