FINALLY! Finally, a place that can fill the location where Spitz is across from the Alberta Bair Theater. This place is a wonderful Mediterranean fast casual place with amazing food, atmosphere, and very friendly staff. Food is ordered at the register when you first come. We saw some people struggle to realize this because there isn't a menu board but a drink board above the register. So we did see some people sit down, look around and wait before realizing that they needed to go up and order. The menu is great with a ton of variety even for a picky eater in your family. I always get the Gyro combo. The gyro is stuffed with the good stuff and then topped with fries. If you order fries as your side you also get the best Garlic aioli I have ever had, the best! Not only is the food great, but the large choices of drinks are also amazing including house-made Sangria! Prices are what you would expect and this place should do very well because of all of this. The service was courteous and efficient. We had a gyro plate and a salad bowl with quinoa, with assorted veggies, and beef/lamb. The meat was delicious, and there were more French fries than could be eaten in one meal. The bread was not the pita, which is what we're used to for gyros. The chickpeas were delightful, alternating crunchy and soft. We especially enjoyed the sauces: the lemon tahini dressing, the aioli, and the hot dressing. Although we opted for takeout, the patios were inviting, and we liked the dog friendly attitude. The inside was roomy and pleasant. My wife and I were in Billings a week ago and we needed a good place for lunch where we could also have our Llewellin Setter with us. Spitz fit the bill, perfectly. We ate our lunch at a table in the fenced off area in front of the restaurant. After figuring out their ordering procedure. You order from the counter and deliver the food and drinks to the table by yourself. I ordered a Lamb/Beef Street Cart Doner and my wife ordered a Zesty Feta Doner with Chicken. They were served in a wrap. We split an order of fries. All the food was delicious and tasted great. The wraps were full of meat and fresh vegetables. The fries were just how I like them, thin and crunchy. Served with tasty garlic aioli. We both took home half our wraps. I had a good Montana brewed pale ale. It is self-serve, but the employees did come around to the table to ask if we needed anything more. They even offered a bowl of water for our dog. read more
