I went here because I bought a coupon from Tipster for their brunch, so off I went to Frederiksberg, an area that I otherwise never explored because Copenhagen city centre & other bridge quarters are definitely more interesting in my opinion.
Food: The brunch was served in one of those hipster wooden board for two. They looked quite small for the portions but we walked out from there feeling full (strangely :P). They served regular bread (boller/bun), with soft-boiled eggs, rye with avocado mash, yoghurt, charcuterie, fruits, cheese with jam and waffles. Although they were quite mini in portions, they were filling. The fruits were fresh and the waffles and the avocado mash were great.
Ambience: It was a cafe/bar thing. They have beers on tap so they would probably turn into a local bar at night, and a real cafe serving brunch during day time. Smart ideas, obviously.
Service: Service was great. We got our coffee/juice almost right away and the food as well. There was no lag but that's what I expected from a newly-opened place. Later on? Maybe they would lag.
Overall, I feel like this place is alright. Why the three stars tho?
Because it's as generic as the place next door. Although the brunch was good, there was nothing to pinpoint that its brunch from this place. I could have dined any other place and get a more or less same combo, especially now that mix-n-match brunch places are everywhere with a more interesting option. The quick service is definitely plus, so I'm leaning toward 3.5, but Yelp doesn't allow me that, so I stick with 3. read more
