We just stopped in for dirty chai lattes, but I wanted to note our experience because this place is such a great find in Copenhagen! The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The space is super cool and not some boring trendy spot... and to top it all off, the dirty chais were great and didn't break the bank. We would 100% come back for food next time!

Secret Menu including their secret drink. If I told you it wouldn't be a secret.

This is spot is super chill, excellent food (ask about their secret menu) especially for breakfast bites. Their service is friendly, warm and uber inviting, plus the candlelight is a special touch. So get in your hip mode and enjoy their vibe, because it's want you desire when visiting Copenhagen. Thank you to the Next Door Cafe for sharing the secret entrance on the day we visited, too

Came here because of all the amazing reviews, and it did not disappoint. I got a simple yet delicious scrambled eggs, bacon, and toast dish. The portion size was a lot larger than I expected. The eggs were light and buttery, the bread was fresh, the bacon was crispy. Overall, a great breakfast. The service was impeccable. They were friendly and welcoming. The decor was fun and quirky. 5 stars.

You know it's actually a good spot when the locals all stop for breakfast too. Chill atmosphere, friendly staff, quality food & quick service. I'd recommend stopping by if you're looking for brunch

Stepping just outside the the touristy area, on a charming street was this cute cafe. When ya see chairs/benches out front with people chatting and enjoying a cup of coffee, ya know this is the spot to pop into. No disappointment as food, service, and decor were awesome! "Everything is homemade with love" and flavor was some of the best in town. This was our first meal upon arrival in Denmark and it was definitely the right choice. Supposedly they have a secret menu which we saw mention of as we were leaving. Next time...as I'm curious what is on it. Minutes walk to several attractions, yet ya feel like your more like a local. Great find and highly recommend!

Love the bohemian, eclectic style and the casual atmosphere. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Some tables are shared, and when we were there it was pretty full and we enjoyed hearing a variety of languages being spoken. We ordered off the "secret" menu, and the food was fantastic. Cappuccinos were so good we ordered more. It's very near the Saint Peder's bakery, so after you stand in line there (the bakery is worth the wait, but there's very little seating), head around the corner to Next Door Cafe. Highly recommended.

Next-door Café is certainly a place that I would love to have next-door to my home! From it cute decor, candlelit room, friendly staff, exceptional, muesli, and delicious oat milk, flat white, this is a place I would love to come back to! Highly recommend! Prices are affordable. Centrally located.

My husband found this brunch spot while in town and it was awesome. The food was great! The menu is small but the options were quality. I had a breakfast sandwich and my husband a breakfast platter. I forgot the name but we loved it! The owner (I think he was the owner) was there and he was pleasant. Must go, the decor is different and you'll be wanting to see every inch of the interior. Coffee was delish just watch your hands as the cups are glass and it can be very hot. You def must go. No reservations made just went there really early in the am.

Honestly, 10/10 experience. The owners are SO KIND and although they are busy they really keep things moving. Breakfast was amazing and honestly we were surprised by how cheap it came out to be. Coffee was delicious, our bellies are full and we would absolutely come back!

This is a drawing of the actual view from the table it's on.

Incredible staff, great food, perfectly unique experience. There may be no spot more hip than here. Stop in for a coffee, breakfast, or company.

It's astounding the amount of games in this place. They are everywhere! There is even a "Game Guru", seated somewhere in the center of the cafe. You can ask him/her any game-related questions. They can recommend the perfect game for you to play and they even instruct you on how to play. There is a QR code at each table you can use to order drinks/foods. They will bring it to the table. They serve coffee, beer, wine, cocktails. They also serve some light bites such as nachos and nuggets. 5 stars - Nice ambiance. Come play a game, have a drink, listen to music, and enjoy the artwork.

We went into the first entrance we saw, which led us into a small basement space with a counter to order drinks, and a little back room with more games. To me, it was a pretty typical gaming cafe - nothing remarkable. We played some card games for a bit, sipped our tea, and then we headed upstairs to leave... but THEN, we realized the actual MAIN section of the cafe was upstairs, and it was huge. There were several copies of each game neatly stacked, and went on forever. Every game you could think of seemed to be on the shelved. They had cute merchandise, too. We were both bummed we didn't realize it before, but I bookmarked this place so that I can return next time I am in Copenhagen. If you love gaming, this place is a must.

That little bit of winking eccentricity the Danes are known for. However quite the pricey lupine flair as that capachino together with a single order of sublime eggs Benedict with my 10% tip for my average server set me back forty simoleons. Look. I love Denmark and Danes and this gnosh station is peeping distance from Rådhuspladsen but it brought to mind an innocent question from someone I was speaking with back in New Jersey about why Copenhagen is so expensive. "How come?" asked they. Shocked, I was unable to provide any answer. They have plenty of supply lines and are well situated at the north of Europe and there should be no particular reason why things are so expensive other than the fact that Danes probably think that they're special enough to demand more money. Or it could be as simple as people in a capital city in Europe during the tourist season believe that charging more is reasonable. But I guarantee you if I come back here at Christmas, which I may do if I'm not dead, it will probably be the same pricey prices. Now, if I come back after I pass away, the prices might drop, as I will have.
