This food is the embodiment of healthy vegan cuisine with SOUL! The name says it all! Food **** We ordered the Hot Bowl and Homemade Pizza. The Hot Bowl has quinoa, nori chips, seitan sticks, king oyster mushrooms, broccoli, bok choy, edamame, coriander and goma dressing and was absolutely DELICIOUS! The homemade pizza has Squash "cheese", sun-dried tomato, truffle, pesto and WOW, absolutely delicious and better than traditional cheese pizza! Atmosphere **** Very relaxed, cafe-style setting with outside seating and beautiful views of the surrounding area. Service *** No issues, very attentive service persons (when prompted). However, could have been more attentive without prompts. Price $$ Very affordable and very worth it!

BEST VEGAN BURGER--ever! Only sad that I had to come all the way to Copenhagen to get it! Great place with a bomb menu! Staff is friendly and food is served hot and delicious. Two kinds of fries available so had to have both; Golden Fries and Sweet potato friend. Dessert menu is also delicious...will go back for breakfast! Make sure to make a reservation for evening to avoid waiting!

Yep, a huge fan of more plant-based eateries popping up around Copenhagen. Souls is a nicely-sized space with lots of natural lighting and wood, and candles and window pillows to make it cozy when it gets darker. There's a lot to choose from on the menu depending on if you're into a bigger meal or just a lunch bite - salads, sandwiches, burgers, and brunch. I tried their sweet potato salad and asked to add a few more toppings to it, and they were kind enough to make it for me - no problem. Side note: the sweet potato salad is really good with BBQ mushrooms & buckwheat pasta added if you're extra hungry. :) The seasonal mixed salad concept is big in the US and I'm glad to see it here at Souls, with more innovative ingredients than just shredded cabbage and beet. They're packed with veggies, protein, various grains, and delicious dressings - which is a nice change if you're sick of the same uninspired veggie options around Copenhagen. We also ordered burgers and sangria, and I'd like to come back and try the sandwiches. The cake looked delicious as well. Thanks for having such stellar service, too - the people working there were so friendly and it was a very relaxing place to eat dinner!

The best burger yet. Was just down at the new cafe Souls in Østerbro. I must say, that I was pleasantly surprised. Great atmosphere - however a little loud, but they will get an extra 100 seats outside for the summer. We were very hungry, so we got the burger, a sandwich and a salad and cake. The burger was the best, that I have had to date. The sandwich was also a to ranking, and a little more food for the money. To finish off we had both the chocolate cake and cheesecake. I can only say: remember to get the cake. Go there, just go :-)

Everything we had was amazing. Souls burger, sweet and spicy sandwich, supreme salad. Even the side salad was worth it. Definitely going back again and again.

After being frustrated with the lack of vegan/vegetarian food in Copenhagen I was excited to finally go somewhere where I had more than two options on the menu. It's a very cute and hipster looking restaurant with lots of plants and modern, hanging lightbulbs. The decor is sleek and inviting, but unfortunately the front door latch was broken and it wouldn't shut when people walked in and out. It was especially awful since me and my friends were sitting right by the door and the cold winter air kept us chilly throughout our meal. We spoke to the waiter about it and he said they were working on getting it fixed, so hopefully that will happen before the winter is over. Souls, while having a lovely atmosphere was somewhat disappointing. I know that I'm probably just spoiled from all the amazing vegan and vegetarian restaurants in New York, but I found the food a bit bland and ordinary. I ordered the Hot Bowl which is a bowl of quinoa with seitan, mushrooms, broccoli, bok choy, edamame, and goma dressing. I added some much needed avocado. It tasted slightly sweet with hints of Chinese five spice, but was a bit boring. My friend ordered the Homemade Pizza, which was better than what I had and came with a little side salad. I also tried my friend's Soul Burger which was again just okay. It's a smaller portion than the other dishes, but comes with some raw carrots and celery. I had really high hopes for Souls, but was a bit disappointed. I would still recommend coming if you're looking for more interesting vegan fare than you can get in the usual restaurants in Copenhagen.

I had the Soulful bbq sandwich. My first impression was how can the vegan sandwich be this good!? This restaurant broke my stereotype of vegan food. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

Soooooo delicious and fresh and healthy. Loving the new Souls cafe on Melchior Plads in Østerbro. Vegan sandwiches, brunch and salads with unique and colorful and tasty combinations. My companion enjoyed the beautiful smashed avocado open faced sandwich and I adored my sweet potato, tomato and pesto sandwich in a slightly sweet whole grain roll. We shared the yuzu cheesecake - perfection in its tangy creamy texture with an oaty crunchy crust. The only thing that will make this place better is more tables outside to soak up the Spring Copenhagen sun.

Such a wonderful little veg/vegan spot in Østerbro. I went with some friends for their opening night and it was a beautiful, well-decorated spot to have a meal, light bite or drinks with some friends. The food is well-priced considering the ingredients used to make the food and the mixed drinks were delicious. I would personally recommend the sangria (not too sweet), veggie burger and the chocolate cake. The owner is from Australia and was just the nicest guy ever. So welcoming to all of the guests and happy for them to taste all of his recipes. There is also a great outdoors area for when the weather is nice outside.

Definitely the place to go in Copenhagen for healthy organic food. I have the brunch weekend special and a cafe latte with almond milk (something I've never tried before, but the girl at the counter talked me into it). Both were winners!

Mushroom burger. The sweet potato side was really good.

To me, it was a pretty typical gaming cafe - nothing remarkable. We played some card games for a bit, sipped our tea, and then we headed upstairs to leave... but THEN, we realized the actual MAIN section of the cafe was upstairs, and it was huge. There were several copies of each game neatly stacked, and went on forever. Every game you could think of seemed to be on the shelved. They had cute merchandise, too. It had delicious food, strong coffee and fresh fruit juices that are a must-try. I visited 012 on a Monday morning and even on a weekday, the place was super busy. I was able to be seated at the bar around 9am, but there was a line outside the door the entire time I was there and when I left. Not sure if you can make a reservation ahead of time, but it seems that many groups go here for brunch. The menu is straightforward with a lot of tempting, classic breakfast dishes that are elevated. In addition to drip coffee and a ginger, carrot juice, I ordered the breakfast plate, which had a little bit of everything. The plate had scrambled eggs, bacon, rye bread, whipped feta, avocado, sourdough and a chia seed pudding. AVOCADO SMASH... a tad salty with too much feta cheese. Wasn't a fan that it was cold but I know not much could have been done. Loved the micro greens. Loved the pumpkin seeds. Tomatoes didn't really add anything. Could have used black pepper. Very mundane in taste. PANCAKES WITH FRESH BERRIES AND VANILLA CREAM...pancakes are not fluffy or thick but it is tasty! Definitely hit the spot. Loved the variety of fruits provided! Definitely a surprise. CAPP... I love how it wasn't just all foam. There actually wasn't any foam. This was the first and only Capp I had in Copenhagen so I wonder if it's a Copenhagen thing. The coffee was very concentrated throughout. The coffee was lukewarm. A small danish cookie provided. Loved all the varied "latte art". SERVICE: Kind. Attentive. Understands simple English but once the questions deviates towards something other than food or coffee... communication is rough. For example, I asked if there are any must sees or must dos but this simply could not be understood or responded to (because the wait staff was kind enough to initiate a conversation of whether it's our first day in Copenhagen). Ordered taken by staff via tablet. VIBEZ: Lots of laptops going at full steam with folks working. Mixture of locals and tourists (there were luggage's and bags in a provided corner). Loved being in the "green" with the same plant surrounding the room near the ceiling. There are outlets for charging. Small kitchen but definitely lots of folks coming in and out.
