This store completely caught my eye while me and my wife were exploring the mall after leaving nordstrom. I was completely fascinated by the whiskey infused products that were featured here. My wife was more ecstatic about the spices that were featured here. And they're a little fridge they have hard cider and even done alcoholic options amongst many other cool options. Only store in the Oak Brook Mall that sells variety of vinegars and alcohol (Wine and flavored liquor). I stopped in and was amazed on the samples I can get from the 20+ variety of vinegars. I ended up buying two vintage balsamic vinegars for $40 each. Customer service is impeccable, they spent the time pouring small amounts of samples to try. Prices vary but pretty reasonable. I stopped in here to purchase some items as a gift for my husband. The store is so cute! They have liquors, wine, tequila, craft beer, and spices! They let you sample some of the items before purchase, too. They also have paid tasting events. Customer service was friendly, and they were patient while I was browsing. My favorite item was the candied orange liquor. Great place for gifts. Pricing varies, which is great. Spirits & Spice is such a hidden gem in the Oak Brook Mall! Someone made a suggestion to check out the store a couple months ago. I had bought the Rose Petal Liquor and easily became a household staple for our liquor cabinet. It is so fresh & bright and truly mimics how one would want a rose enhancer for a cocktail to taste. The prices are a bit of a premium but all liquors come in reusable bottles, most liquors are imported from overseas to avoid bad ingredients, and the options are endless! A warm welcoming greeting as soon as you walked in. Employees were definitely eager to help you out and ask questions about what type of spirits you enjoy the most. Allowed a free sample towards the back of the store, limited selection, they can't just open up every bottle. The price point is pretty good especially for being Oakbrook. read more

Spirits and Spice and everything nice. I was shopping at Oakbrook Mall. As, I was walking I looked in the window and saw some interested displays. I was curious to see what this place was about. New business hidden gem alert in Oakbrook. I was greeted by one of the workers name Aaron. He was attentive and helpful. He shared with me the history behind the store and the different whiskeys. I was also able to sample some of the different flavored liqueur. Each one had a unique flavor and taste to them. Each one is custom blended. You can also purchase oils, vinegars and wine. I really enjoyed the Mango Pineapple Cream Liqueur. Very delicious blend of flavors in this drink. Nice place to come and try out some unique spirits and spices. read more

As I was walking along I noticed this one and decided to stop in and take a look around. They have a wide variety of spirits with many of them being customized. They also have an excellent selection of spices. There was a good collection of wines as well. I had a chance to talk to the owner who explained about the different spirits they have and how most everything in the store is mixed specifically for them along with some items that are a one-off where they bought the entire run of a specific spirit. I considered quite a few items as I walked around but came to the conclusion that most everything was out of my price range. If you're looking for something for a special occasion or a gift this is a great place otherwise I hope you are well off. I was offered free samples of pretty much anything in the place but I declined as I was driving. There's a really comfortable feeling while being inside the store. The owner also added quite a bit of comfort and spoke to every customer that came in. I really wish I could have gotten something but maybe next time I am in town. read more

This store just caught my eye in Oak Brook mall. It sits on the lower level right next to Nordstrom. The owner , Aaron was amazing. We tasted, heard stories, got recipes and so much more. The liquors are all clean and come from small distilleries and he makes the oils and vinegar blends. It was a whole vibe and we walked away with some really nice liquor, oils and spices. read more
