Party is in 3 days so you race to store and low and behold everything you need from cowgirl hats, to table cloths/plates to party favors all to make her happy. They also have costumes in back left hand side of store, a few selected fun t-shirts and balloons. Lots and lots and lots of different variety of balloons. Have them blow them up or buy a helium tank and do it yourself. I know pintas are fun but by the bags of candy at store not the individual single pieces(may be a few dollars more), 8 out of 10 times there stale. Have fun and be prepared to spend some money because let's face it no one just buys one thing there lol.

On the whole, there is a good amount of cheap options alongside the more expensive ones. My most recent purchase was that of a plastic tiara with pink feathers as a gift card holder for a friend's graduation (inside joke but funny to see her wear it around at the party). Probably best to buy things sparingly here as things can add up quick. Just the essentials or hard to finds. Their costumes are reasonably priced compared to the old school Halloween stores where a costume would be no less then $100! You can score a decent costume in here for about $40-$50. I was looking for a PopEye Costume which they advertised on their website and when I asked the cashier she said they didn't have it. My son really wants to be PopEye so I might have to order his costume online if they don't get it in or have it at their other stores in RI. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Once you get over the spookiness of Party City (it somehow reminds me of a zombie apocalypse?) you can really make use of this silly place. As an event planner, I can generally rely on Party City to have many of the bits & bobs I need to add razzle dazzle to my events. Pink cowboy hat? Check. Gift bags in every color of the rainbow? Check. Plastic table cloths? Check. Balloons? Check. Let's talk about the balloons in particular, though. There are a few balloon options: 1 - Buy a package of balloons & have them fill them up behind the counter. They charge a filling fee. 2 - Bring in your own balloons & have them fill them up behind the counter. They charge a filling fee. 3 - Buy a package of balloons & fill it up elsewhere. You can buy a portable helium tank & fill them up at home, if you'd like. 4 - Buy one of their fancy balloons behind the counter & they'll fill it up. The cost of filling is included in the fancy balloon's price. I've tried every single on of these options. Recently, I indulged in #4 & it was ... not worth it. 2nd year renting from this company and getting broken equipment. I would never rent from them…read moreagain and would not recommend them. This last year we rented the largest slip & slide they had. Within 5 minutes after it was installed it, it completely collapsed. One of the 2 fans that power it was broken and it took them a few hours to come back and fix it. And it was dirty and had a dead frog in the slide! Because they had the largest slide rental we gave them another shot. This year 3 of the stairs were ripped and you could not get up the stair cave. It was covered in grass and mud! It was also leaking water from the top where they attached the hose. We are currently trying to fix it because their repair guy is away and won't be back till next week to fix it. They did not have a comparable slide to replace it so we have to keep it as is, and were only offered a $50 discount for a $1000 slip & slide!
