The other day I made a booboo while checking out and they were calm and pleasant when they had to re-ring up my whole stack of quarter yards - no eye rolling, just a deep breath and a wide smile. I was "having a day" and they couldn't have been more helpful. My latest find is their skeins of Queensland cotton worsted - the colors make my potholders sing and it has a great hand feel. Very good selection of quilting cottons although not the cutest stuff and some limitations on…read morecolors. For example, there may be a really cute pattern in blue and green but you won't find the same pattern in any other colors. I find I can't source the majority of a quilt here. I do like that I can see solid colors in person, this is really helpful. Price per yard on all quilting fabrics is excellent. Ability to find novelty fabrics is good. Overall I find I don't do as well here as I used to do when they were in Framingham. Quilting tool selection is also limited.

We were really struggling because the "online florist" that was supposedly "local" missed delivery of flowers ordered 5 days earlier. USPS could get the gift delivered even though it was sent a week earlier. Joey arranged to have Scott come to our daughter's 25th birthday celebration at a local pub. Scott did an OUTSTANDING job making sure everything was coordinated as we live in Florida and were not onsite. A lot of the fabric was on the floor (the store had just opened so it should not have been). I have been noticing over the years the pricing was really getting out of hand. I don't think this store has ever been one of their top stores. It is always very messy. I think for the most part the sales team try their best. A lot of the sections are empty, because they are leaving but the prices have not gotten better at all. I thought since they were leaving I would get a bargain, but no there is none here. I any event - I encountered very friendly staff at the location in Natick who were very helpful and answered my questions right away. I genuinely feel for the people working there - having to deal with needy, rude customers for hours on end - a thankless job if there ever was one. I was surprised by the assortment of items they carried including acrylic paints, professional art markers, plastic storage organizers, various adhesives and a whole lot of other things from a wide array of departments. It's kind of a mini-michael's, but with a robust fabric department. Anyway, it's important to support these brick-and-mortar stores - as they are an endangered species and still much better than having to get everything from Amazon.
