I love this small laundromat. I wish it was more spacious and had more machines. I have lived in Astoria all my life and I have used many of the laundromats in the area and this one beats them all. The clothes come out cleaner. But most of all they are spun to almost a dry state that all you need is 14 minutes in the dryer and you are done. I used to go to this place because the machines are new but honestly they're not worth it. Dryers often stop giving heat so you will have to check every 5 mins, move your clothes from one dryer to another, and pay again and again. Also it's always crowded and they take forever to unload the machines. You may end up spending hours at the laundromat. read more

Very rude when I asked for a refund on the machine they stopped. Was drying a fabric rug (no plastic, medium size, says machine durable on the tag, think ruggable) when I was told it was too wet for the dryer and I had to take it out, would not refund my money even though it had been in the machine for less than 5 minutes, and now I had to carry home a wet rug. Laundromat is extremely tiny anyway and other times I've been there, the employees there look at you like you've just taken their clothes out and left them wet on the floor when you try to use one of their 6 total microscopic machines. read more

on the morning of sunday october 18, 2020 i was doing my laundry at spinfast laundry. i have been a loyal customer for about a year (ore slightly longer) and the regular attendant at this establishment knew me and often helped me with my belongings as i entered the establishment. on the day in question a male customer came inside the laundromat wirh a small dog on a leash. even though dogs not allowed inside, the laundromat attendant sat with the dog, holding its leash, as the dog owner filled a washing machine. the dog kept barking to be closer to its owner, so the attendant gave the dog owner the dog back as he continued putting clothes into the washing machine. i was only a couple feet away when i saw the dog lift its leg right next to my luggage and start to pee, as if my luggage was a fire hydrant or a tree. i screamed that the dog was peeing on my belongings. the laundromat attendant did not say or do a thing to apologize and she allowed the man and his dog to stay while he finished loading his machine. the dog's owner said nothing to me but he spoke to the attendant in spanish. the dog owner took one of his dirty clothes to wipe the pee off floor but did not offer any apology or regret at his dog's lack of heing housebroken. the attendant made no effort to clean the floor with soap and water. a couple minutes later, the dog went to my duffle bags and was sniffing at them, and i was worried he was going for pee #2 so i yelped to get the dog away from my things. the owner pulled the dog's leash closer to him. and then i moved my things away from them. after the man left, i went to the bathroom and when i came out i walked up to the laundromat attendant, who was behind the counter now, and i said "that was disgusting. i am never coming back here" with big emphasis on the "disgusting" and "never". i repeated that 3-4 times bc i was in shock and otherwise speechless, and then i walked away. she again made no apology or effort to make up for this incident. a few min later i was at the dryers when the attendant came to fill a washing machine nearby, and i told her i was so disappointed, i would never come baxk, and i didn't understand why she did not say or do anything. she claimed she told the male dog owner there are no dogs allowed inside. i certainly didn't hear that. maybe it was said in spanish and i just didn't understand, but regardless she clearly didn't insist bc she sat with the dog before the pee incident and allowed the man with his dog to stay after the peeing incident so that the man could finish loading his machine. not even a loyal customer was treated with respect. i have never been disrespectful to any customer and the attendant had previously complimented me on what a nice person i was. but as far as this establishment is concerned, it is ok for dogs to come in + treat your belongings like a fire hydrant. in the past when i saw a dog enter the establishment i didn't mind bc dogs can be taught not to pee inside, but i mind now and i highly recommend you avoid spinfast laundry. read more

I dropped off my laundry here for the 1st time and some of my clothes came back shrunken. Took speaking to 3 different people to finally get in contact with the owner which was annoying. The owner seemed genuinely sorry and he compensated me for some of the damages. I probably won't be coming back here. read more

I love this place and it's my go to for my laundry since I been living in the neighborhood. Service, machines, prices are great. I usually do drop off and it's always reasonably priced for my hefty laundry bags. Late hours are a plus. Last but not least, friendly staff is awesome. :) read more

The only reason this laundry was good is the driver but even that can't excuse them anymore. I received someone else's panties. Clothes got shrunk, my husband's shirt ripped by what looks like the laundry cart wheel, & I still gave them another chance. The people who work at the laundromat are completely disorganized and never pick up or drop off on time. The last straw?: they had a customer answer the phone when i called asking where my laundry is and he YELLED AT ME. I had to call the driver myself and they hadn't even told him to come. The ladies that are employed here are extremely hard workers and they are all very trust worthy and loyal to their clients. I feel comfortable leaving my clothes in the wash or dryer while I go run errands or return to my home. They all wear masks and cater to all the personal quirks people have in this neighborhood. The laundromat itself, despite being small, has great machines that wash big loads of laundry quickly and with ease (as the name suggests, they spin fast). The dryers are nice and big and can dry a grape to a raisin in minutes. Always very clean machines. The staff is what creates the ambiance here for me that makes me go back everytime. Growing up in queens, everyone knows to respect the laundromat staff well and have a relationship with them. Some people may not be into that but if you are leaving your clothes in a laundromat you might as well have a friend to back you up as you'll never know when you'll need it. That being said, if you want to wash your clothes and not interact with anyone, the ladies there will respect that as well. The machines and the way they operate makes it so human intervention is not needed with the employees. Overall, reliable staff and machines for all your washing needs. read more

Detergent doesn't wash down from the compartments and the dryers consistently reject payment. Staff is rude when the machines don't work and act like it's your fault. I also wish they cleaned out the washing machines--they smell like mildew when you open them. read more

I have been going to this laundromat for a couple years now and they're really great. I use their wash and fold and it's always done same day, clothes are clean, and neatly folded. I even get a phone call when it's ready. Jackie is the greatest, she takes such great care of me! The space itself is also clean and updated with new machines. read more

I generally like this place lot. It's new, close by and fast. I had once a bad experience when a dog was sitting on the folding table where everybody else is folding their underwear... The associate didn't say anything, accepted the situation. It was very disgusting! I informed the owner, he was very sorry and understood me totally . He told me he will talk to his employees. its early sunday morning in astoria and before i do my sunday shopping , this bag of clothes aint going to clean by magic so its time to spinfast laundry it. place is small compared to our mats and not too many washer and dryers but if you come early enough you will be able to grab both to use as well as a chair to wait. they also offer drop off service which includes folding and bagging as well but i recommend the non lazy way and do it yourself .the machines look fairly new and both washer and dryers also take plastic as well as coins. the wash takes about 30 minutes and dryer about 25 minutes but both do a good job cleaning and heat drying your clothes. in the hour i was waiting for my clothes to wash and dry i got in two separate chats with 2 different strangers about sports which made the wait go much quicker. overall a decent neighborhood laundromat in astoria for the locals and shopping visitors. read more

I usually like to go here because it is clean and the machines take credit cards. However, I feel very uncomfortable in here giving the amount of non-mask wearing individuals. There are multiple signs saying masks must be worn, yet the two employees are walking around and talking with their masks on their chin. Multiple times I've witnessed customers without masks, including this afternoon. I can't support this business if they can't perform the basic tasks needed to keep people safe. read more

I would just like to say the employees at this place are the best, especially one of them who always gives off the best energy. I believe her name is Jacky. She sings, dances. Is alway so kind and asks how your day is going. She makes you feel welcome always. I've never had an issue. Hand down the best laundry in the neighborhood. I understand if the dog wasn't suppose to be allowed in but if the customer doesn't listen and she already told him to please not bring the dog, what else could she have done ? What if it was a stranger, she could've gotten attack, bunch of lunatics out there! The serves provided at this laundry is the best. Very helpful! 10/10 recommend this laundry. Extremely clean! Beautiful customer service! Secure spot, accidentally left laundry a little longer and upon return every item was still present and waiting for me. I will admit gets extremely busy on weekends compared to other locations and pricing can be adjusted a little lower but ultimately you get what you pay for. read more

This is by far the best laundromat I have ever been to! It is also the cleanest to say the least. I love that they take credit/debit and Apple Pay. It's just so much more convenient. This is my favorite laundry place. It's kept clean and the machines work great and are quick; it's spacious enough to pass others with a cart. The people who work here are amazing! Jackie goes above and beyond, and with a friendliness that makes you feel like you're in a community hub. Julian and all the women who work here are wonderful and helpful. The owner is respectful and kind to staff (and customers). I've been coming here since they opened, and have no plans on going elsewhere. read more
