Fluff n Fold is a solid laundromat with various services. Their facility is new and clean. They have weekly deals for in house service. During the summer there is air conditioning. Free WiFi. Pick up and delivery service available. Same day Dry Cleaning. Awesome. I have now used the Fluff n Fold pick up and delivery service 3 or 4 times. My laundry is clean and fresh smelling. I usually have my laundry delivered a week or so later and there are no stale odors. I set up an account with a credit card and no issues with their services. Overall, I am very happy with the laundry service of Fluff n Fold. Staff is friendly and efficient. At 80 cents a pound very fair price for pick up and delivery. They have messed up my clothes for the last time. They were quite good in terms of turnaround time and folding clothes neatly. However if you're planning to wear your clothes for more than a few times...please consider going elsewhere. My hunch is that their machines spins way too hard or are overfilled that it causes fabric to shear and tear. Would echo that it is a clean place and they have new machines if you'd want to do your own laundry. Here's the count of the damage and why I'll be going elsewhere: 3 t-shirts (only warn 2-3 times) developed holes that looked like they've been stabbed with a pen multiple times. 2 flannel shirts both worn completely through at the neck as if my neck is made of diamond crusted sandpaper. This happened at the same time to these two shirts. They wouldn't give any compensation and told me that the shirts were old. I have an older shirt of the same flannel material it was fine. It must have been lucky or in a different wash? 1 dress shirt that I have worn exactly once and the cuff was ripped to shreds. They wouldn't compensate for this either saying that the stitching was poor. However, if the stitching were poor the thing would have unravelled instead of shredded. Various shirts I had to get them to wash again since they failed to remove stains the first time. Various times they forget to give me a quarter of my laundry and I'd have to walk back to get them...30 minutes round trip. Various times they would not have the clothes ready when they told me they would. They would try to make it up later by doing it right away in the same day. I kept going there because I was fine with occasional mistakes and they would always try to make up for them and were nice about it. However this time they completely destroyed my clothes and didn't offer to make it right. read more

This service started off great but went downhill real fast. The third time I used the Fluff N Fold they forgot to deliver half of my clothes. When I called to ask about my clothes they said they couldn't do it until the next day. Ridiculous. I didn't bother scheduling another pick up. I instead took a 20mins walk over to pick up the remainder of my clothes and will not use this service again. Such a shame. Plus the pick up and delivery were never on time. I beg you to not go to this place. I am reposting a review my boyfriend left because this sick place deleted it and will continue to repost it. Awful place, my girlfriend picked up her laundry and the was a FRESH FECAL STAIN on her duvet. IT STANK!!! Right next to that was a YELLOW STAIN! Yes the laundry was clean Except for the FECES AND URINE! A clear skid mark on otherwise CLEAN LAUNDRY! NEVER FELT MORE VIOLATED! We called the police, but they only directed us to the better business bureau. Don't know if legal action will be possible, but we will be looking into this further. My girlfriend is distraught, I would never wish this upon anyone in the world, especially during the coronavirus scare! I BEG YOU NEVER GO HERE!!!! Really disappointed with the pickup and delivery wash and fold service. I have used them three times. Every time the bill is $20. The first two times, I thought it was coincidence. The third time I asked, and they said $20 is the minimum. So I could have been giving them more laundry for the same price the past three times and nobody said anything? I've been giving them just my essentials to cut costs. No receipt was given either. I overlooked this because I figured I'm partially responsible for not asking about their policies sooner (even though I think it's deceitful of them not to disclose that upfront). The second time, I got someone else's socks which kind of weirded me out, but I overlooked that too. It can happen, right? The straw that broke the camel's back was that they kept my super fancypants non-toxic detergent the second time and I requested that they bring it back with my clean laundry next time as I sometimes hand wash sweaters. They brought back the wrong detergent, which I'm sure they had washed out clothes with, and it's scented. I'm super sensitive to scents and try to use this unscented fancypants soap for our baby's clothes especially. At this point, I'm annoyed that I wasted $20, but resign to just have them drop off my detergent and never use their again. But they refused to drop off my detergent even though it's their mistake. Now I have to pack up the baby and get my detergent so I can hand wash something that I want to dry for tomorrow. If they even still have it... At this point I have a feeling they don't. I don't trust them, and I don't recommend them. I would have given them one star but the clothes were technically clean so I'm being generous. read more

Fluff N Fold is the first place to make laundry something I look forward to whether I am there doing it myself or just dropping off. The staff is extremely helpful, friendly and attentive to detail. I bring my sheets, towels, clothes and I have never had a problem. In fact, they come back smelling FANTASTIC. I catch whiffs of delicious smelling laundry detergent all throughout my day and it makes me happy to know that I'm the one that smells so fresh and so clean. What a wonderful feeling to have day in and day out for a very low cost, (I've never paid more than $15 for a full bag of laundry). Additionally, there is a pick up and delivery service in case you can't make it out of your home. I really can't recommend this establishment enough. They are stupendous. read more

So they started having stronger people come pick up the laundry and ask ahead if it's a lot so they bring along a helper - good thinking. And they've added more pickup and delivery hours, which is great. But the quality of the work they do has slipped. I appreciate matching socks and separating stuff by type of clothes (color would be nice, though - my new pink tank top is now a blueish pink). Sometimes, though, you have to wonder what they're thinking when they pair a grey dress sock and a pink gym sock. Annoying when you're getting dressed, unfold the pair, and find two socks that aren't even close to a match. So anyway, improved delivery, while quality of the service has deteriorated. Best in the neighborhood for same day dry cleaning. When I couldn't get a 48 hour guarantee from another place, they said they'd do next day without a hitch. The facility is clean and the place seems very popular from the laundry bags piled up for drop off and pick up service. The most important thing, however, is the service. It's been two days and this issue still has not been resolved. When I inquired about a refund they told me it wasn't possible because I had used my credit card to pay - WTF? My initial few experiences with this business were fantastic, but the last one was less than favorable. My clothes were picked up on a Tuesday, and I agreed on a Thursday drop off with the lady I spoke to on the phone. Thursday came and went. I called Friday afternoon to find out the status, and was told the clothes had been ready for days, but no one had called or attempted to deliver them! They did deliver that evening, but missed one of the bags, so I had to call back and track it down. The lady who answered said she would look immediately and call back, but it wasn't until I followed up 5 hours later that they said they found and delivered them. My first time outsourcing my laundry. Pick up was really easy - I called at 9am on a Sunday and was told they would be there at 10am. Exactly one hour later they arrived. Around 4:30pm, I called to confirm I would receive my clothes the same day. 30-40 minutes later, my laundry arrived, perfectly folded and smelling so fresh! My clothes and even the couch cushions I had washed came out fine, except.. My two bath mats had a large bleach stain. I called and was told the driver would come back to pick up both my mats and I should call back the next day. Called today (Monday) and was told they don't use bleach so there is probably nothing they can do. I am waiting for a call back to resolve this and am really hoping I won't have to dispute with my credit card. Very disappointing because otherwise, they were good. read more

The best laundry service I've seen in the 4 years I've lived in Astoria. They picked up my clothes on time, sorting a delivery time was incredibly flexible and easy (they take cash or credit which is perfect!), the clothes came back neatly folded and divided by towels/sheets/tees/shirts/underwear and unlike other laundromats I've used, nothing came back shrunken and there were no missing items. Most of all I loved how kind and helpful the staff were on the phone and when they delivered the clothes. I will be sending my clothes here for a very long time! read more

I used to go to a laundromat closer to my apartment, but recently "upgraded" to Fluff N' Fold one block further, and am glad I did. The facilities are clean and new, and the washers and dryers are very fast. The working change machine is also a plus. read more

I have been using Fluff & Fold for about 3 years. Hands down, they are the best laundry service in Astoria. I have used about 5 different pick-up/drop-off services and Fluff N Fold has not (fingers crossed) lost/damaged any items and they are able to follow specific instructions for specialty "do not dry" items. They also allow you to keep a Credit Card on file so you don't have to provide that number every time. They've been great -- thank you for the ongoing superb service! read more

If you send in more that 1 bag, make sure both bags are included in 1 weight under the price of they will try to charge you the minimum for each bag. They do a nice job but I'm not always 100% sure they use my detergent and follow other instructions. There are not that many options for pick-up and delivery with the hours they have but if there were another good option, I'd probably use them. Good enough but could be better. read more

They are the best! For $.80 a lb drop off - they wash, dry, and fold your clothes. I drop it off before heading to work and it's always ready when I go pick it up after work. They even hang dry items you don't want in the dryer. I've done my own laundry here too and the machines are up to date and efficient. Great service, highly recommend! read more

Hey Guys! Just want to leave a review about this place. So first of all I love going here to do my laundry the machine's are always clean and I love how they have a super big washer for those days that you have a lot of dirty clothes. Second the dryer's work great love how they have a little sign telling you how much time is per quarter is instead of having to ask them. Also the dryer's dry your clothes great and they have more of the smaller dryers which people tend to use more instead of the big dryers. Third the space in the Laundromat is pretty spacious. Also for their customer service which a lot of people ask me about is great! The worker's there are very helpful and are always willing to help. I'm not so sure about there dry cleaning service since I've used it before but if I ever do I will leave another review about that as well. Also they do have a day for free soap day and lucky the detergent they use smells great. Hope this review was helpful for everyone :) read more

the place is nice and new but the customer service is extremely poor. first they lost the belt of my winter coat - which makes the coat useless. it took them 2 weeks and 3 separate trips to the laundromat to find it. they just had me choose from a pile of lost belts ... how many belts do you normally lose? didn't even get an apology. the other day i went in there at 8:45 to do my laundry and they told me i can't even though they close at 10. a wash cycle only takes 30 minutes to there's plenty of time. i asked the woman working at the time if she can make an exception because it was the only time that week i could do it. that didn't seem to strike a chord, she said she's just following the rules. not even an apology this time either. all in all very disappointed with the customer service and considering a new place for my laundry read more

Fluff N Fold is the most reliable laundromat in the neighborhood. I drop off laundry with them all the time and they've never lost or damaged anything. The machines are very clean, and the staff is reliable, helpful, and friendly. I also take my dry cleaning, and have never once had a problem. Laundry is always ready same-day (if you drop off early enough in the morning), and they are open very late, so I never have a problem picking up my clothes if I work late. They've just lost a customer that they've had since the beginning. I did six loads of laundry tonight: 2 hot, 2 warm, 2 cold. Except...all of them ended up washing cold. I brought this to the attention of both attendants, who said they'd "look into it." One said they'd call the manager. I never saw them look into it or call the manager. So, when I pushed them about it (after my clothes were done washing in bone cold water!), the one attendant told me the "hot water was shut off." They offered no refund or credit. All I got was, "Do you come here often?" I'll be logging a complaint with the manager. But, I'll not be going back to this place. You can't deceive customers this way to save money. read more

I've never been to the location, but Fluff N Fold has a great pickup/delivery service at a reasonable price (cheaper than lugging it down the street and dropping it off).
