Here's everything you objectively need to know: - 12 small machines at $3.50 - 6 medium machines at $5.25 - 1 large machine at $8.50 - all machines have three soil settings, three cycle settings (normal, perm press, delicates) and three temp settings (hot, warm, cold) - 16 dryers at $0.25 per 5 minutes with three heat settings - cash only to reload your card: fives, tens, twenties NO singles - first time card purchase is $2.00 - by selecting the "medium" soil you can an additional 2 minutes of wash time for an extra $0.25 - hours have changed recently, see my photo for info - wash time is 27 minutes unless you opt for "medium" or "heavy" soil which will add additional time - there are only two chairs for seating - there is WiFi if you ask the owners nicely The prices are a little steep but this place is clean and the machines are new. I've never had an issue with disappearing socks or damaged delicates. Avoid peak hours and weekends. The large machine is great for towels, bedding etc. but it's almost always occupied with a wait. There is a folding area and laundry carts. The narrow space is unaccommodating. Everyone has something else to do and somewhere else to be so don't be surprised when your laundry is moved (especially from the medium and large washers) by a stranger if you're not back promptly to retrieve it.

My name is Jaklin and I need to leave a complaint about your employee that's working today, I just ask about a problem with my card and the machine but his answer was very rude Yelling at me instead of explaining just a simple thing, he call me stupid Hispanic girl and loser and he start laughing at me...feels like he don't want to work here. I'll never come back to do my Laundry, what a disrespectful treat I had in here

I don't know what these other reviewers expect, but this place is clean, open early/late, with plenty of working machines and friendly staff. The prices are higher than I'd like but it's the Upper East Side in a rapidly gentrifying part of Yorkville. I go on weekends and suggest getting there within an hour of opening to avoid waiting for a machine, though I have never waited more than ten minutes. The small $3.50 machines can fit a surprising amount, either one load of bedsheets and towels or one load of 1-2 weeks' worth of clothes. Two small machines and a dryer for the sheets runs me under $10. While that's more expensive than other areas, delivery or drop-off service would be far more. I'm glad to find self-service laundry at all, andI appreciate going somewhere a couple blocks from my apartment versus hauling laundry all over the neighborhood looking to save $1 or $2 per load.

I was quite skeptical of using a wash and fold service, having always done my own laundry but I…read morecould not be happier with Capri! The process was so seamless; from calling to schedule pick up, to paying for the order, everything was so smooth and convenient. All my clothes and sheets were folded neatly in a plastic bag, ready to just be tucked away. The staff is also extremely friendly and accommodating. I forgot to mention that I needed detergent for sensitive skin, and even though they finished washing my laundry already, they insisted on doing it again. Definitely a local business I will continue to support!

As other reviews have mentioned, this laundry service constantly adds new rules without informing customers. When I first signed up, I was told it was simple: pay the monthly fee, put my clothes in the bag, and text them for pickup. Over time, they kept introducing new restrictions without prior notice, making the process increasingly frustrating. If they had been upfront about their policies, I would have respected them--but instead, I was repeatedly spoken to rudely whenever I requested service. It got to the point where I genuinely dreaded asking for laundry pickup because I knew that I would be spoken to disrespectfully. The customer service here is shockingly bad. I could go on about the many issues, but here are just a few examples: - They initially told me they would air dry any clothes I placed in a separate bag. Then, out of nowhere, they claimed they never offered air drying. - I was suddenly informed that I couldn't drop off my clothes after 11 AM--something I was never told when I signed up. - I included a small blanket in my laundry, only to be charged an extra $10 without any prior confirmation, simply because it was a "different texture." And the worst part is that their tone over text is consistently rude and unprofessional. Whoever manages customer communications needs serious training in basic customer service. There are plenty of better laundry services out there. Save your money and go elsewhere! I'm so relieved that I finally decided to cancel my subscription and go somewhere else; don't make the same mistake I did.

Once the change in management happened, the customer service has gone down. Though it is a low cost option, it doesn't need to treat its customers in the way they do. When there is issues with the laundry or payment, the store refuses to call they have the driver call with half the information. If you are bold enough to take the customers' money, you should be equally as bold to call the customer if their an issue. This is not how you do business. Especially one who has stood by the business through their transition. The worse if it is the person they have answering the phones doesn't even know how to explain the situation either. They don't do payments and it is someone else who does it. Its very frustrating when the service you are paying your money to complete a task doesn't know how to communicate to their clients. That is bad business practice.

They provide a 1.5-hour window for pickup and delivery but are consistently 2 to 3 hours late, making it impossible to plan around, especially if you need to go to work. They often call 10 minutes before arriving telling you they are at your door--if they have the correct address at all--which means you have to wait outside. Even if you're forced to take a work-from-home day because of their delays, the first few hours are still highly disruptive. On top of that, they have lost my laundry before and now rarely answer calls or texts. I used to love the convenience of this service, but unfortunately, I won't be using them again. Don't just read the reviews from before, that was when the service was good :(

Unfortunately, I'm saying "so long" to Fei's…read more I decided a while back to walk the extra distance to this laundromat because of so many other lousy self-service laundromats on the UES. This one was always clean, attendents were nice, and it was no fuss. Be aware, however, that customer loyalty means very little in the finer points. For example: If you wash at home and want to dry what you've washed they won't allow you this courtesy at their facility. This seems to be a fetish for a number of laundromats on the UES, especially if they are small: it upsets the flow of laundry in, laundry out. I don't think the owner ever shows up there so this is not negotiable. Understandable maybe, given that they must also fit in their drop off service loads. What's harder to understand is the minimum card charge on dry cleaning, especially when you drop off one item, and they don't tell you there is a minimum. Yes, there is a little sharpie-drawn notice off to the side, but it would be nice if the attendent would mention this at the drop-off. Not the attendent's fault, as they work very hard all day long. But this is an owner policy and decision. And after they are compelled to overcharge, they STILL decide to charge an extra 30 cents for the charge. At least the humor is free. And so, as the owner of my clothes, I too, have changed my policy, and made the decision to find another laundromat.
