Good addition to Hampstead... And as others have pointed out - it is one of the best options for a burger in NW. Brioche buns do go well with a burger, fresh salad garnish, thick chunky dry aged beef. It is not bad at all but not sure if it has enough... My burger came slightly under toasted, meat is slightly too gamey... with £7.50 a burger, I thought it needed something slightly more special, lacking that wow factor... My reference would be dirty burger in Kentish town, which is more casual and smaller but juicier and cheaper.. Overall, very satisfied and Would eat again but not enough to entice me keep going back...

Onion rings and pulled pork sandwich, both partially demolished...

In the words of Jules Winnfield, "THAT IS ONE. TASTY. BURGER." Had the house burger with smoked cheese and bacon, great stuff.

The staff here were very polite and good natured, a real credit to the company and management. As for the food - I adore the courgette fries and onion rings at Byron and these were no exception. The burger itself was next week's special - we had a voucher to get it a week earlier - it was spectacular. Literally the best burger I've ever had from a Byron. All in all, it was a good experience coming here and I'd happily be a return customer in the future.

Classic Byron burgers FTW!…read more I like a burger that doesn't have too much "stuff". Byron is excellent, they use a perfect amount of tomato and lettuce so that you can still enjoy the tasty burger patty, and leave the condiments up to you at the table. The bun itself is a good size too, it isn't so huge that you have to get through a lot of bread to get to the burger, hate it when that happens! The patty itself is best when you ask for medium in my opinion, the medium rare is too soft and doesn't have enough flavour. The home-made skin on chips are delicious and far superior to the regular french fries here. The courgette fries are also yummy and taste like lightly done tempura. The macaroni and cheese here is decent but the burger is the star. Surprisingly, the house salad is fresh and perfect! It comes with rocket leaves and cherry tomato halves and a great balsamic vinaigrette dressing. I have tried some of the other burger variations, the cheese burger, the veggie burger, and the special greek lamb burger offer, but none of them beats the classic. Byron is a good place to grab a burger anytime.

The one we went to is right near the Roundhouse club where we were seeing a gig. And it was in a pub but fortunately we got the last open table. Got the regular cheeseburger and I've gotta say this is the best burger in London!!! We've had many different burgers over the years and none have been as good as this. My only regret is getting the single patty, I should have gotten the double patty!!! It's simple. Just meat cheese and sauce (onions too if you desire). But wow. So good. The service at the pub location was slow. But fortunately we had some time to kill and it was pouring rain that night so it was ok we had to wait a while. Worth it tho!

After being poorly for over 5 days, I had to skip the bottomless Sunday brunch which allows you to drink as much for just £18 (select drinks). The breakfast is supremely unhealthy, I mean I absolutely loved it but this will not be a regular place. I am more of a poached egg on granary roast sort of girl, which most of the times is a luxury. There options are plenty many however they do only waffles (both sweet and savoury) and no toast. I swapped the scrambled egg with poached egg and added an avocado as an extra. My breakfast was therefore, savoury waffles with smoked salmon, cream cheese, poached eggs and crispy capers with extra avocados. I complete devoured my brunch after being hungry for just over 3 hours. The food was great, something different from standard Sunday brunch. However, due to the healthiness quotient, I will not frequent this place and only treat myself maybe once in good few months. The staff were friendly and quick. The general vibe of the place was great. Would highly recommend for anyone to go at least once.

I have eaten in this over priced American diner a few times before, and yes, it was fine, had some onion rings, burgers, they are all the same really, just over priced. The real reason why have late night trip to Tinsletown in Hampstead, is simply due to the great milk shakes they have. Any chocolate or any chocolate combinations, they will make a shake from it - kit Kat and Oreos, Mars and Lion bar and crunchy. The more chocolate bars you have, the pricier it gets, but they are amazing. My favourite shake is the Oreo's on its own, amazing! There are queues here throughout the day to the early hours of the morning. I love it, but it is pricey

Firstly, a little correction - this branch isn't open 24 hours, but it usually closes - depending…read moreon the day of the week - at 2 or 3 in the morning, so for the purposes of most hungry night-owls, it's as near as doesn't matter. The first thing that strikes you about this American-style diner is, well, its American-style. Anyone who's been to a Hollywood Johnny Rockets will know what kind of thing to expect, with burgers and milkshakes galore. But what stands out most about this place is the fact that in keeping with the Hollywood theme, to match the celebrity photos on the wall - many of the stars posing with the restaurant chain's founder - and pop videos screaming out from the big screens, each of the dishes and drinks is named after a movie - often so tentatively, that you can't work out what it is. There are the obvious China Town for the Chinese section of the menu, Italian Job for the pasta dishes and Once Upon a Time in Mexico for the burritos, and the dessert menu features the Waffle Monty (say it out aloud!) while the menu also features a Licence to Grill area and the Basic Drinks tinct (you get the idea!). But it's the milkshake menu - where the joke wears rather thin, with the word shake being clumsily shoehorned in to everything from Gladi-shaker and Shakes on a Plane to Shakes-orcist and Buffy the Vampire Shake-er. It's bright and noisy, and unless you get a booth, you'll be perched on a high bench, with your food on a table so small and round that it's not particular ideal for a date scenario, but sometimes, by the time the movie's over or you've finished your romantic walk on the Heath, there's no-where else open. Given that Tinseltown largely has a captive audience as there's literally no-where else in Hampstead to start a sit-down meal after 10pm (correct me if I'm wrong), it doesn't really matter whether the food is any good, as whatever it is, for a hungry post-pub audience, it's better than nothing, but it's more than up to the challenge. The menu is varied, the portions are generous, the prices reasonable and the service is friendly.

It's the best burger I have had in London and I have gone everywhere in my burger sampling (I am American, after all). Let's start with the burger. I went with the double bacon cheese; in for a penny, in for a pound. The beef was plentiful and flavourful, and thin, which is my preference. They used crispy, smoked streaky bacon (perfect) and a lovely tangy sauce to round it out. And the bun...the bun! It's a super soft brioche and it managed to hold together until the end, pretty rare in my experience. They offer an impressive, almost staggering, array of beers. Some are quite strong so be ready. The two I tried were fantastic and it seems like some thought has gone into the menu. The fries were also excellent and I look forward to trying the cheese and gravy version next time. The prices are very reasonable, though not dirt cheap, which is actually comforting. The ambiance was pretty humble but it's a burger joint so that is expected. The music was really cool so that really made it a nice place to be. The service was friendly and prompt. What more do you want?
