Their veggie burger had a thick patty and was delicious. They also have a massive selection of beer, good music, and friendly service.

We also ordered the pork Ragu which was underwhelming, I felt like it was missing something. A couple things of note, no reservations. There was a long wait for inside dining. We sat outside- heaters were nice. Menu is small in general.

I had the best service of my entire life at this beautiful and wonderful restaurant. Being able to sit at the bar and watch the chefs as they cooked my meal was so nice. Everything was made fresh the pizza was fried perfectly in the fire too! My pasta was so good and my ravioli was so good. I'm actually so disappointed we don't have a restaurant like this in the states, the staff was also super friendly and accommodating. I was able to ask them suggestions on local pubs in the area that I could visit since I was from the state and I was visiting London they were so friendly so attentive the drinks were phenomenal and the dessert was even better. I will be glorifying this restaurant until I can go back and visit. I feel like I would take a trip to London just to come back to this amazing restaurant 10 out of 10 experience and the food is phenomenal!

We arrived and found a table for our group and Sally quickly greeted us. Luckily a larger table opened up so we moved tables since a 5th person was going to be joining us. Our first round of drinks was great which were Espresso Martinis, Vodka Martini, and a Negroni. When I ordered my second drink of tequila soda with an orange slice they squeezed a lot of lime into it and forgot the orange slice. My friends knew I was not liking my drink and offered to say something to have it remade. Knowing my friends were regulars here I didn't want to say anything and said I would ask for the next one without the lime. After that my drinks were the way I like them. At one point we were informed the table we were at had been reserved and asked us to move. We gladly moved and noticed the time was meeting the end of happy hour. When Sally came back to our table at 5:50 we asked if we could order another round on happy hour. She said that we could order another round for happy hour. A moment or two later the manager came to our table telling us that we could not get happy hour pricing and asked if we wanted to order still. At this point we said fine but after a bit of discussion amongst the group we decided to go elsewhere. This is when they lost their 5 star rating. I went to the bar to ask if our drinks had been made and the manager told me no. I then asked if we could cancel the order and pay our bill. The manager then tried to justify his decision of ending happy hour early and I said we asked our server and told we could still order happy hour. He then said it was only her third shift and didn't know. He then said he recognized my friends as regulars and would have given them happy hour had I not been there but it was selfish and inconsiderate of me to think I could order happy hour during the happy hour time. He said if he allowed us to order before happy hour ended. I wasn't going to say anything out of respect for my friends but the manager wouldn't let it go, I just wanted to pay and leave. After I paid we thanked Sally and left. As we were around the corner and walking to our next happy hour spot the manager appeared behind us and again tried to justify his decision. Like why did he have to chase us down the street? We had already paid and left. He then tried to tell my friends the same thing that it was selfish and unfair of me to ask for happy hour during happy hour. And again their server had already confirmed it was still happy hour!

I'm assuming it was some sort of service charge but we weren't made aware of it. It's ironic because the service was minimal. Average experience... technically 3.5 stars…read more Our Order: scrambled eggs with feta and whole wheat toast, avocado smashed toast, grilled cheese and tomato, green tea and a latte. Environment: cozy upstairs area with a bigger downstairs. Easy to find a seat. They even have WiFi and some laptop charging stations. Verdict: food and drinks were just average. The tea was served in a very beautiful teapot and the latte had a beautiful flower design, but the tea was weak flavored and the latte had an overwhelming milky taste. The avocado toast was the best thing (fresh avocado) and perfectly toasted bread. Eggs were too salty. Tips: they don't have any hot sauce, only ketchup. They also only take cash or non-signature cards (travelers beware). They voided my charge and the. We had to pay cash - luckily we had it. Initially, we thought the shop was full as the immediate area was full; but a crude sign to the right informed us of the lower seating area. This lower area is how a coffee shop should be - warm with plenty of seating by lamplight. The intimate little room was the perfect place to drink our tea (from a gorgeous teapot might I add) and meet a friend who'd come over from Chicago and was briefly in London. An added bonus was that the waiter, whom I think was called Matt, let us charge our phones using the plug socket - that's like trying to find rocking horse poo in major chain coffee shops - which was life-saving as said American friend was trying to call us. Overall, a busy but great place in a handy location.
