Oxtail Entree and Side of Platains

Came here on a date, I think the service is nice. Food is pretty good as well, I think the oxtail portions should be a little smaller due to all the fat on them. The gravy and rice were really good. The sides are really pricey, a side of Plantains were 10 dollars when you probably only eat like 2 of them. The ambience is like a house that was turned into a restaurant, the do charge for parking which kind of sucked. The staff is always really nice and the food is tasty overall. Just don't order oxtails for a date. lol

Had a DJ out on Friday night while service was a bit slow, it was extremely packed which made sense. Nice vibe, flickering lights was a bit weird but unsure if that was natural for building or not Always enjoyed the food just happen this time was a late night and didn't eat much. Parking is $10/ as well as valet

What a cute spot! I've passed by several times and always wanted to try. To my surprise, I didn't do the research but it is Caribbean. I've always loved Rasta pasta so I gave it ago. It did not disappoint. My rest of pasta was with chicken, though they have oxtail and shrimp I believe. Considering this was lunch no cocktails for me just water. The bartender was lively and kind. The restaurant was empty so I got a good look at how pretty it was. I'm glad I came for lunch and I will consider dinner at some point. It's all valet parking unless you can find something on the street. Valet parking at lunchtime was $10. When I'm in the area, I will come

I came here around 7pm on a Wednesday night. Our waiter was very nice, but service was a bit slower given that the restaurant wasn't packed. I started with the Ace punch, which comes in a small plastic bottle. They do provide you with a glass with ice if you don't want to drink out of the bottle though. It was a great drink though I'd definitely get it again. For my entree, I had the jerk chicken with rice and beans and cabbage. The rice and beans was cooked so well that it was dried out, so I made sure to move the jerk sauce from the chicken over to the rice and beans to hydrate it. The meal was very filling, overall, and I ended up taking some home with me. The restaurant isn't large, so when there are large groups or multiple people, it can get very loud in there. Something to keep in mind if you're wanting to have an intimate conversation.

Hats off to the new chef Junior, the food was delicious. I got the curry goat, and it was some of the most flavorful tender goat I have ever had definitely will be back to this location!

I visited the Spice House for my friend's birthday and had a great time. I ordered the rasta pasta with salmon and the food was delicious. It was pretty crowded and a live band was playing. There was a $15 charge at the door and we paid $12 for parking so $42 was spent before we ordered our food. I'm not sure why you pay for parking because the restaurant has a parking lot. The waitress was attentive and brought us everything we needed. I have no complaints about the service. I may give this place another try during the week. I will keep you posted.

I came here for happy hour on a Tuesday. Service was a little slow to start but improved. Happy hour is M-Th 3-6p. They were out of calamari. I had jerk chicken eggrolls, jerk wings, rum punch drink and rice n peas. Everything was delicious per usual.

I got a lemon drop at the bar. That was very tangy sweet yeah potent and two appetizers the frog green tomatoes, and the jerk chicken egg rolls. I would say that came out quick and was definitely delicious and seasoned. I enjoyed the cabbage inside the egg roll. It was some type of dipping sauce. I'm not sure but the green tomatoes I can absolutely say Phenomenal they were a decent size and they didn't fall apart. The waitress was absolutely wonderful and she was consistent on checking in with me to make sure that everything came out great and that I enjoyed it. The inside of the restaurant is also beautiful and they have karaoke and live band nights. I definitely will be back so I can try the roster pasta and the oxtail dip

Tai (midtown location) the server was impeccable! Engaging, personable and professional. He reduced our stress from the food taking a while to get to our table. Checked in on us regularly to let us know he was on it! The ambiance was cool for a Saturday girls evening out. Food when it came was superb! Melted in my mouth. Forgot that it took over a hour to receive the main course. My gf ordered the fried snapper & I had the veggie jerk Rasta pasta. One recommendation is to add more vegetarian starter options.

Amazing tacos! Service was just as great as the food. Try the shrimp tacos during happy hour!

Last Saturday my cousin and I went to an event at Pin & Proper (which was a cute idea but the food sucked!). Being the bougie food snobs we are, we decided to search for REAL food. This search was serious because we wanted something to awaken our tastebuds so off to Yelp we went! Stumbled across spice house. We figured it was close by and gave it a shot. Probably one of the best decisions I've made since coming to atlanta! LOL The food was absolutely amazing! I am not kidding. No jokes were made. It was so delicious that I had to write two paragraphs before the review! Let's dive in.. Parking: Be prepared to pay for valet! It appears to have a valet side and self park side however, self park is still $5 and somehow you have to pay via cashapp. Weird but moving on.. Greeting: We were greeted and seated right away. Staff was nice and pleasant. Atmosphere: The atmosphere was really nice. Music had quite the variety! Also, the design of the place was very fitting and Carribean like. Our waitress was really nice. She made great recommendations and gave us the run down on the drink selection. In fact, we tried multiple drinks because they were so good. Now this food review - my goodness! I usually am the critic with the no one excites me but bores me with their food, but this food had me practically singing good songs in the restaurant. I was literally smiling and happy and this is so rare! I literally had a ratatouille moment where it took you back to childhood. Multiple flavors just hitting! It literally made you wanna dance lol Don't believe me - please go for yourselves! Definitely looking forward to my next visit. Will now be a new spot on rotation :)

Came here over memorial weekend. We were a party of 7 ladies. We had a reservation at 2:00 but they were not ready for us until about 2:30. We were seated outside. DJ was just setting up so we were ready for good vibes, continuous mimosas and great food. It took them FOREVERRR to take our orders and even longer for our drinks. A while later some entrees came out for some of us while the appetizers didn't even arrive. Mind you 3 of my girls were still waiting for their mimosas. It was just a mess when it came to the service. My passion fruit mimosa was delicious. Gave me a nice buzz. The chicken and waffles were bland. The seafood dip was tasty so was the crab cakes. The DJ kept everyone moving in and out of their seats. I probably wouldn't return because the service just wasn't up to par.

As someone who is known for seeking out and truly testing vegetarian options at Caribbean…read morerestaurants, I have to say--Miss Conduck is easily the best Caribbean flavor restaurant in Atlanta. And coming from a Jamaican background, let me be clear: the usual Trinidad vs. Jamaica debate does not apply here. This place stands on its own. From the moment the food hit the table, one thing was consistent across everything we ordered: it was hot, fresh, and made with real intention and flavor. We started with the fried cauliflower bites. The batter was light, crispy, and well done--definitely a solid starter. I wasn't a big fan of the tartar sauce it came with, but it didn't take away from the quality of the cauliflower itself. My friend ordered the jerk chicken rolls, and I have to give credit where it's due--the sauce that came with those rolls was incredible. Easily one of the standout sauces of the night. Next, I had the doubles, and because I like my food with a kick, I asked for pepper sauce. Now, I'll admit--I made my first one obnoxiously hot. But what I discovered was the real winning combination: adding the callaloo on top of the doubles. That was the perfect match. The callaloo itself is blended with so many elements into a rich, flavorful purée, and when paired with the doubles, it created this burst of layered, authentic Caribbean flavor that was just on point. I also ordered a veggie plate with rice and peas, cabbage, and chickpeas, and they did not disappoint. The portion size was generous, and every single item was clearly made with flavor in mind--not just thrown together as an afterthought for vegetarians. I also tried the macaroni pie--it's a smaller portion, but it's true Caribbean mac and cheese, rich and satisfying. The fried plantains were done perfectly--hot, fresh, and with that ideal balance of sweetness and texture. Then came the rasta pasta. My first couple of bites, I thought it needed a little more kick--but by the third bite, everything came together perfectly. You can taste the layers of vegetables building flavor, and there's a subtle heat that isn't overpowering but adds depth. The noodles were cooked exactly how they should be--perfect texture, not overdone, not undercooked. One thing I always pay attention to is this: Is a vegetarian-friendly restaurant also approved by meat eaters? And in this case, the answer is absolutely yes. My friend had the jerk chicken, and she said it was spectacular. She actually lives nearby and already plans to come back regularly. Honestly, I was surprised the place wasn't packed wall to wall. The atmosphere is incredible--it has its own unique style that really makes you feel like you've stepped into the Caribbean. The music, the vibe, everything is intentional. The staff was extremely attentive and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our visit. We even watched them handle a large party, and they went above and beyond to make sure that group was fully taken care of. All in all, this place exceeded expectations on every level. Five stars without hesitation. If you're in Atlanta and want real Caribbean flavor--whether you eat meat or not--Miss Conduck is a must-visit. I highly recommend making a reservation and experiencing it for yourself.

We tried calling ahead, but no one answered; fortunately, it wasn't too busy when we arrived, so our tardiness wasn't an issue. There was a DJ playing a nice mix of hip hop and R&B, which set a great vibe. We weren't immediately greeted since no one was at the hostess stand, but someone from the kitchen noticed us right away and seated us. They offered a $28 "Girl Brunch" with a choice of cornbread or deviled eggs, plus either jerk chicken fried rice or croissant French toast with blueberry compote, along with a lemon drop. I chose the deviled eggs and croissant French toast and gave the lemon drop to my friend, opting for a mocktail instead. My friend ordered the cornbread and steak and eggs. We both enjoyed everything. I was pleasantly surprised by the croissant French toast, and the mocktail was just as good as any cocktail.
