Hands down the best fried rice I've ever had. The food was so flavorful. Highly recommend this place. The crab ragoon was great. The drinks were great. Good service. Food and drinks came out really quick. The place was clean. Staff was friendly. I highly recommend this place. Will come here again. I want more fried rice lol. read more

Still as good as I remembered. You get more bang for your buck when you order the lunch special. Entree and appetizers for a low price, you can't go wrong. My go to will always be the pork chops and basil fried rice, and they never disappoint. I'm almost positive that I tried everything on the menu between here and their other locations, and I've had no complaints. Come see for yourself! read more

I ordered here with UberEats delivery recently and although the prices were on the higher end (fried rice for $17!), we were really hungry and figured we could try it once and see. And we were not disappointed! The food was really good. *The pineapple fried rice was really flavorful, there were several pieces of pineapple too but it wasn't overpowering. The way they season their food is on point. *The drunken noodles were probably my favorite dish. When fresh, the noodles were soft and chewy. Again the seasoning was phenomenal - but really if it wasn't for that price I would be really disappointed. *The curry puffs were good but I think in general whenever I order curry puffs from anywhere, there's always just a tad too much puff more than curry. But the inside was soft and tasty and really went well with the sauce complement. I would give 5 stars if it weren't for high expensive each of the dishes are. Would def try again if craving good quality Thai food and not worried about splurging! read more

It was empty and the waitress was rude and acted like she was too busy .. the food is not the same ! Pork chops were white sent it back and the dumplings were over cooked .. Drinks were too sweet .. they added gratuity for 2 ppl .. so they know the service is bad too read more

I came here the other day and they had indoor seating which was a welcome feat since it has been raining all week. I've been to spice but This Thai food was amazing! We ordered a bunch of food: the curry puffs, crispy egg rolls, and tom yum soup for appetizer and then green curry, drunk man noodle, and crispy fish. The drunk man noodles were perfectly balanced - sweet, spicy, salty. The crispy fish was perfectly cooked and the green curry is exactly what I needed. The food was very good. My only complaint would be that the service, despite having only 4 tables, was not very attentive. I understand that they were packing to go orders all night but we made eye contact with the waitress several times before she finally came over to give us the check. Other than that, the food and atmosphere are great! Covid set up: It didn't look like they had any outdoor seating as an option but the tables were spaced out - every other table in the whole restaurant. read more

This used to be my fav thai spot a while back. My son still considers this plsce his favorite restaurant. They fell off! 1st- We stood up stood up waiting about 5 mins before we were seated. They looked really busy so I let that slide. 2- As soon as we sat down, the hostess gave us menus. In less than 10 secs, our waitress asks are we ready to order. Luckily my son knew what he wanted from since that morning. He ordered the basil fried rice with chicken and golden fritters. I ordered a glass of wine which I never received. To eat I had the 6oclock red thunder rice with golden fritters. The sauce threw things off. Thats def not the same sweet chilli they used to have. I the fritters werent the greatest. My rice was far from spicy. I ate two bites and took the rest to go. I was just disappointed. Khalil cleaned his plate. We had to chase them for everything. She never checked in on us. We felt like we were vegging for refills of water for my son. I told K he has to find someone else to bring him back there cause im done lol Please step it back up. read more

I ordered through Uber Eats and when I called the restaurant to confirm my order was picked up because it was delayed half an hour, the lady who answered had never seen or heard of my order. When my food finally did arrive.... I'd ordered two drunk man noodles, one extra spicy, both came with regular spicy. Ordered curry puffs, got steamed veggies. Also got a side of COLD brown rice to go with one of my dishes. ‍ The food itself (that we'd actually ordered) was ok. Not ordering here again. read more

You really can't beat a $10 dine in lunch special for a satisfying and tasty meal. This is the perfect spot to grab a bite to eat if you're in Park Slope and want to eat on a budget. I've visited other Spice locations, but this was my first time at this one. The food came out very quickly, we waiting what feels like less than 5 minutes. It wasn't the best Pad Thai I've had, but it wasn't bad either. Nothing to rave about. However, our server was very friendly. read more

The Food I ordered was very yummy. Good and pleasant customer service. Overall, I had a good experience visiting this restaurant.

By far my favorite Thai Spot along with Sea. I have been here numerous times and never can say I'm disappointed. Last visit was yesterday after failed attempts at other restaurants due to capacity. I was surprised to see this great spot not as full. Seated quickly and great service. Opted for just appetizers and small dishes and tried a little or everything pictured. My all time favorites are the Golden Fritters and the Curry Puffs. My least favorite would be the Chicken basil egg roll but still decent. Everything came out together which was great and I throughly enjoyed my experience as I usually do. Consistently great Thai food! read more

Love coming to spice! Definitely one of my fav restaurants for my solo time. It's super low key and calm most occasions. Causal-ish but you can also go kind of dressy if that's your vibe too. The food is always delicious, affordable and they're always CLEAN. Staff is always gracious, polite and non-bothersome (they don't come to your table a million times bothering you for nonsense) This time around I had the Thai iced tea, mixed vegetables and chicken dumplings. I Will always be a return customer! read more

Good Food but a hair in the food was the turn off that just wasn't gonna get me to order again. Maybe I'll just go in person

I thought I found my new Thai spot the first time I tried their Drunk man noodles with chicken. Perfect amount of spice and flavor. It was so good that I decided to order it again a few days later...it was terrible. Greasy, bland and it looked like it was just thrown together. But I did order right before closing so I'll have to try them again and update my review accordingly. I'll keep ya posted. read more

I love this little place. I recently changed job locations and was blessed with being placed in park slope. This is a convenient few blocks away and well worth the walk. It can be hard to miss as you're walking by unless you are paying full attention. I typically have the Spicy shrimp Thai fried rice that comes with all kinds of goodies. A fresh cut cucumber and tomato slice on the side and all kinds of herbs and delicious veggies mixed in with the rice. It has just the right amount of spice (not too spicy) and comes in a generous serving for the price $10 on a lunch special. I ordered the lychee martini and mango margarita, both of which aren't the best in terms of taste (could be sweeter) but they get the job done if you know what I mean ;) I like to dine here as often as I can when I'm in the mood to splurge a little on lunch. I defined recommend this place. The staff is friendly and attentive. Delicious Thai food :) read more

Came here on a not-so-cold night and ordered a tofu pad thai and a lychee mimosa (can't recall if it was a mimosa 100%, but it was a lychee drink). The pad thai was just okay. My friend and I came here on a Friday evening. There was no sign on the door that stated their hours and we arrived about 15 minutes before 5:30 PM. It looked a bit dark inside but we saw some people sitting at tables and eating in the back (which we later assumed were the workers). It was raining as we stood there pulling at the door for a bit but it was closed and nobody came over to inform us of their opening hours. We went back to the car and read on the Yelp page that they open at 530 PM and decided to wait. Food and service were both good. It would be helpful if they posted their hours outside for people to see. read more

Meh. Came here on a Saturday night at around 10:00 pm. The chicken pad thai tasted burnt and was flavorless. The same can be said for the spring rolls. The curry puffs were golden brown, excellent flavor. The service was good. I don't plan to return to this particular establishment read more

Came here with some friends today. We booked a reservation in advance and was seated immediately and it was pretty quiet here. They have a nice variety of inexpensive drinks with pictures! It helped a lot with seeing what we'd like best. Since there were 5 of us, we ordered different appetizers to share. The curry puff was the table favorite! The wings are pretty good...they had some flavor but just tasted like regular wings. I ordered the red curry and asked for extra spicy! I did ask for shrimp but they gave me chicken instead..however it was still good! Would definitely recommend read more

Have been here a few times. Food pretty good. Attitude not so much. Came here in time for lunch special on a Sunday. They took their sweet time coming to get our order so that by the time they came to take our order, it was 'too late and we can't override our system. Even though we already were here long enough to get an off the regular menu appetizer. We ordered anyway as we were hangry at this point. However the experience leaves a bit great taste. read more

The decorum and hygiene was up to par but the quality of food was not. We ordered something and did not even take 4 bites. We asked if there is something we can order instead and the refuse to exchange the meal. So we asked if the item can be taken off. They said yes but when we paid refuse to honor our request. We asked why and they continue to say there's nothing we can do. Poor customer service. It's the principle. read more

First off they make a delicious Passion Fruit Mojito!!! Spice is a quaint Thai restaurant that I just happened to stumble upon. The food is fresh, service attentive and that Mojito I am still daydreaming about. The lunch special isn't half bad where you get to chose an appetizer and entree all for under 15.00. I chose the hossin duck lettuce wrap and the healthy steamed tofu mixed vegetables with brown rice and black bean sauce on the side. The duck was flavorful and light. My meal was fresh and seemed extremely healthy, it balanced my sinful Mojito just nicely. My friend had the Tamarind Whole Fish, which was muy bueno. The fish was served crispy and with the Tamarind sauce on the side for dipping. This meaty whole-fish was full of flavor, succulent and I definitely had food envy. I would definitely come back, if not for some more sinful choices...def that Mojito. read more

The food here is always good and most importantly consistent! The menu items are a good variety and really affordable. They also have a bar. The cocktails and good and moderately priced. Staff is always friendly. Came here on Easter Sunday they seemed to be a bit understaffed. The restaurant was not crowded but every employee seemed to have multiple tasks so the attentiveness I'm used to was missing. Had to wait to wave someone down each time. Would have been annoying if I was in a rush. I'll still come back just hope next time they have a couple more people working. read more

Spice is one of my favorite Restaurant for Thai Food. I always go to the park slope location and the staff there are very friendly and attentive to whatever the customer want. I personally like the drunken noodles with shrimp ( and they are not cheap with the shrimp) healthy portions, flavorful food and one thing that stick out for me is that my waiter asked me " Would you like Your drink strong?" When I order a mimosa of course I said yes! If you love spicy food then their drunken noodles and my favorite theie six hour spicy fried rice is what you should order. Also the fritters for appetizers are so good, that I always order two! ( one to take home and enjoy later) definitley give spice a try. read more

I feel very conflicted about this. Not "gotta call my therapist so we can work it out" conflicted, but if you'll indulge me, I'll share... I've been to Spice in NYC and always enjoyed it. So when I found out there was a Spice in Brooklyn I was, as El Bloombito would say, muy excited. We both got soups -- I got what is usually referred to as tom kha gai -- coconut milk soup with chicken, lime, and other great flavors -- this one was dairy free, and definitely the best version of this soup I've ever had. Almost ordered another bowl. My partner got the "house soup" -- a basic broth with tons of vegetables and said it was fantastic. Main courses were a mix, which is why only 3 stars. My partner got the pad thai with chicken and raved about it; I tried it the next day as leftovers and thought it was very good. I ordered chicken panang curry which was virtually flavorless. I'll also say that by the time the food got to the table (the main courses, not the soups) they were room temperature and cooled very quickly. We also had some issues with ordering, having to repeat things several times, one of the soups not making it onto the server's pad and so having to wait a bit more, asking for something to be taken out of one of the dishes (bell peppers) and it coming with the peppers still in there. Did I pick them out? Yes. Did I survive? Yes. But had this been about an allergy rather than a food preference, it would've been a bigger deal. I definitely plan to go back -- if nothing else, to eat my weight in that coconut soup. But I do hope it dials it up a bit more on the other dishes, too. read more

I wandered into Spice for a weekday lunch. It was pretty empty but I don't mind since I can have lunch in peace. They have lunch specials with appetizers and an entrée. Service was nice, and food arrived at a timely manner. The waitress was also very accommodating. I ordered the Steamed Dumplings and Tofu Pad Thai, along with a Thai Iced Tea. The beverage was on the sweeter side and had that distinct bright orange color a Thai Iced Tea encompasses. The Steamed Dumping was average but the sauce that it was served in made it above par. Tofu Pad Thai was a good portion, the tofu were soft and not the ones that were fried. Overall, a pleasant meal. They also have seats in the back where you can enjoy the weather on a hot summer day. read more
