I rate this restaurant very highly, thank you check please Bay Area!…read moreFirst of all, plenty of parking on the street with mini Solano Avenue shops to pop your head in. The staff at the restaurant are all very kind and welcoming. They seem to really care about your experience. The setting is quite unique: you're surrounded by a Korean small market yet outside the doors you're in getaway of a back patio with trees and foliage surrounding you. Quite serene. As for the food, the menu is quite vast, which I am happy about since I will be back to try everything! This was our second visit and during our first trip we were very happy with the three items we ordered, Rosé rice cakes, Dupp bop spicy pork belly, and Jang pasta w/ pork belly. My wife and I loved the duck bop spicy pork belly because it was not just a huge cube of meat, but instead, it was sliced fin to take on a lot of the good sauce. Today I had the lunch special, which left me extremely satisfied. The portion size was large as I'm a rather large eater anyway... The Bulgogi beef was seasoned perfectly over a bit of cabbage or greens, white rice, and the kimchi spicy pork belly soup as you will see in the image was bubbling hot. Superb but watch out if you can't handle the heat as it is a bit spicy. I would say the prices are fair as well. Reservations were not necessary and attire is very casual.

We came here on a Sunday at noon for a girls brunch. This is such a cute restaurant/mini market…read more Parking isn't that bad. I recommend going on a Sunday so the 90 minute street parking doesn't apply. We were easily able to get a table for four without reservation. But it was inside. Most people were sitting out on the patio. The back patio is such a cute vibe. It's like a lush garden with mature trees and shade and string lights. I wish they had a separate entrance for it though. I saw a couple people walking their dogs through the restaurant to get to the patio. The market actually has a pretty big selection of items! They even have several large refrigerators. I've never seen so many types of ramen outside a 99 Ranch. We ordered the palace rice cakes, beef cold noodles, spicy tofu, both fried chicken appetizers, and the jang pasta, and drinks. They have a nice selection of drinks that I haven't seen commonly offered at other Korean restaurants before like several types of Korean tea. Everything was delicious! My personal favorites were the jang pasta, palace rice cakes, and the cold noodles. The noodles were perfect to help cleanse the palate from the heavier and spicy menu items. Ur was tasty even without the vinegar. They were very generous with the amount of beef in the rice cakes. It was more beef than rice cake! The cost wasn't bad either. For four people it came out to $145 before tip. The only other suggestion I have is they install an air curtain or mesh curtains to help keep flies out. I really enjoyed Korean Superette and want to go back and hopefully get some groceries too!

We have fallen in love with Mi Terra. Family owned vibes while also being incredibly well stocked…read morewith anything you'd need for a grocery trip. We've found all ingredients, meat, etc. to be fresh and flavorful. We were also pleasantly surprised that most items did not come at a premium (though some name brand products are $1-$3 more than you'd see at a chain). Service is helpful and friendly. They will keep seeing us!

It came to my attention yesterday that some people don't know about Mi Tierra's cafe or their taco…read moretuesday. Let me say that louder. CAFE. TACO TUESDAY!! On Tuesdays, tacos are $3 and fish tacos are $3.50 And they are effin GOOD. Jeebus they are good. I got the fish taco grilled for the first time yesterday. It was all I could eat. I'll be visiting for that more often. Even at full price ($5) that's a steal. IT WAS SO GOOD. They also have cheap, high quality meat. Which, in this economy, is a frikkin' god send. I go here for the meat a lot because I'm broke. And they are always so nice. I've never had any experience here where anyone was even approaching rude. Also, I am very shy about my bad spanish. But often, I'll try in Spanish and they will be patient with me about it. And I love them for that. They'll switch to English when they can tell I don't understand. (It's actually usually just me thinking. I think slow, lol.) Yeah. Lots of words, sorry. They have good meat. They have good tacos. They're nice.

Note - Only had delivery, but the quality has been consistent and it's always a pleasure ordering…read morefrom this location! == Excellent, especially for the price == * Salmon aburi (5/5) - smoky seared salmon nigiri topped with tobiko and green onions. LOVED this, will order this every single time. Relatively more unique offering * Omakase Nigiri (4.5/5) - delicious and fresh. Would recommend for a first time order. Sadly you cannot order most of the items à la carte on doordash * Snow crab California roll (4.5/5) - fresh, decently portioned, and they use real snow crab! A solid, delicious, and relatively unique offering == Solid - Would order again == * Wakame (4/5) - standard run of the mill wakame - good and hits the spot == Okay - would personally pass == * Unagi roll (3/5) - unagi portion wise is very slim. I do appreciate that there is very little sauce (unlike many establishments that drench their unagi in sauce), but the unagi was slightly fishier than expected. There were some bones (as expected for unagi) but they were soft and did not cause problems. Quality of the avocado and rice were good. Portions were reasonable * Unagi nigiri (2.75/5) - from what I recall the unagi pieces were more slender than expected and was disappointing compared to their other offerings. Still appreciated that it was more "naked" and not drenched in sauce Delivery notes - provided ginger and wasabi packages separately - nice touch for those of us who don't appreciate surprise wasabi smudged onto our sushi - also provided plenty of soy sauce and chopsticks
